I bought this as a replacement for my 3 year old Swiss pack that the zipper broke. The backpack seems smaller than the other one I had. It does not have enough small compartments for me. I use mine for international travel and keep business cards, hotel cards, memory sticks, money, and other little stuff that I want to keep seperate but accessable. Overall made well and may hold a 17in laptop but it will not be great for a week or two of travel. I like to keep extra stuff in case my luggage is lost. Overnight would be fine. Overall quality seems good but not what I was looking for size and compartment wise. The smaller size might work good for someone else.

I bought 17in Sierra at Costco for $38 (great deal and good quality) that is bigger and has better small compartments for me.

It has plenty of compartments to manage many small items like my phone charger, headphones, Bluetooth headset, adapters, pens, badges, keys, kindle you name it. And to top it off, it has a good sized padded zipper pocket that faces the small of your back to keep a wallet safe while walking about with the pack on.

And he absolutely loves it! It is rugged and sturdy enough to put up with all the punishment he dishes out at work and it is very comfortable too. He simply loves this bag!

The Targus computer pack I owned was wearing out and I saw this for

sale on Amazon. Had good reviews so I decided to pick it up. Very

roomy computer back pack. The material it's made out of seems to

be of good quality. I like all the room it has, 2 side pockets for a water

bottle and other stuff, even a pocket where your lower back is, haven't

found anything to put in it yet. lol

This bag is very heavy. It does, just barely fit my 17" laptop. many pockets, and extra places to snap your keys or a water bottle or flashlight too. straps are adjustable. I use it mostly just to carry my laptop and accessories. It get's too bulky to put much else in it.
