Purchased this for my son to start college. Was looking for something with high capacity, laptop protection, and durability. He has been using it about a month now and the bag is performing quite well on all levels. There are a few loose threads on the should straps--nothing serious, but frankly I expect very high quality in relation to the cost of this backpack. He is quite pleased with the bag and to have your 18 year old tell you that it is a great backpack and he really appreciates it is a testimony in and of itself. He has said that the extra laptop protection on this bag is really helpful and the laptop travels with him everyday to class. The bag also provides a surprising amount of room for books, materials, and his various other electronics, i.e. phone, external hard drive, etc. and is not bulky. I would definitely recommend this to others without hesitation. Pricey but over the long run it is a reasonable cost for what you are getting.

The only reason why I'm giving this bag a 4 star instead of a 5 is because it's just to heavy. The bag itself weighs a ton. But other wise I love it I can store anything I want in it. it's exactly what I needed for my laptop and all my accesories.
Straps are lightly padded. Back is padded well. It contains an inner slot for storing laptops. Zippers are fairly sturdy. Can keep a bit of rain out. Still going strong after 3 months of use, mainly for notebooks/binders
They're so easy to maneuver. I'm clumsy so I dropped them and dragged them by accident a few times and they always held up. With these 3 pieces and a purse, I managed to make it out of the airport with no help, which I loved! Great quality, I just wish (like with most suitcases) that the handles weren't so loose/lightweight compared to the case.
I have a 13.3" Macbook Pro that fits very nicely into the laptop pcoket, but not really if I put the laptop in a sleeve so I doubt it fits much bigger of a laptop. I love the organization of the first pocket, it's very convenient. The straps are comfortable and the design makes it less hard on your back. The overall look is very nice and looks cute, too. I've had the backpack for two years now so it has outlived any other backpack I've had, but the bottom is sort-of falling apart. I'd also have liked it more with maybe one more pocket or bigger, expandable side pockets; you can't fit a water bottle in them. I use them for highlighters and pencils.
The Lowe Alpine Airzone Centro 35 (I'm spelling it out since Lowe makes so many similar sounding models) is an exceptional day pack. It wraps around your body snugly yet its design allows cooling air flow on the back and even through the straps. The design of the pack transfers its center of gravity forwards reducing the potential for being pulled backwards by the straps when you're loaded for bear. After using this pack for a few hours with a 17-pound load, it seemed that I wasn't carrying anything at all it's that well balanced and comfortable. I wouldn't push the weight it carries beyond 20-pounds or so but that's my limits. At first, I thought the waste belt and shoulder straps seemed kind of insubstantial, but I found that this light-weight support system was extremely comfortable and more than up to the task of carrying a fully loaded pack. The sternum straps ride on vertical tracks making them infinitely adjustable. The stretched mesh back keeps sharp protruding packed items from ever touching your body. Even the zipper tabs are superior to many packs I've owned, being permanently affixed and substantially constructed. There's lots of internal room and many neat features such as lower compartment quick access and a large top flap pouch. The fit and finish is Lowe quality which speaks for itself.

This is a review for the bag only, not the seller cuz I've not bought from them. I bought this bag 3 years ago and have abused it in just about every which way one knowns but it has not given an inch. Super duper durability. The best out there in my opinion and the reason for this as follows. It says airzone. That's the important bit, as everything else is secondary. There is a sort of a spine like feature which houses a flexible but unbreakable structure. To this is stretched the fabric and this causes a curvature in the back, much like your back. however, the curvature causes airflow in the region for the entire length of the back...well at least until where the bags' bottom ends. This relieves your back in many ways. One thing is the bag doesn't hug your back and so no sweating or heating of your back. The arch of the structure makes it very light. I absolutely love this feature of the airzone. Its what makes this a five star feature. The reason I gave it 4 stars however is that its one straight shaft through to the bottom. This requires organization. There is an inner pocket that goes into 3/4 the length of the back. But this is not very loose and while you could fit your laptop in there, its a tight squeeze and makes the back heavier. The top pouch is a godsend as I stuff everything from cameras to power cords in there. The inner pocket on the back of the outer pouch pocket on top is a really smart after thought as you can stuff all the delicate things in there, like camera filters, memory sticks and also put your safe items like credit cards and keys in there (There is a key hook in this pocket). There are couple of velcro and non-velcro outer "rings" that you can hook a lot of other things to, like a carabiner. I've hooked a sigg bottle to one of these things. Overall it is a really superior bag for practically anything from lugging to the office to going on trips to taking it on the airplane. You can stuff a lot into it and it still feels remarkably light to carry. I like it so much that I think this is probably the only bag I'll ever consider buying. I have a patagonia and also have had North face and Jansport but really they all have the same bad feature in the end in that they stick to and make your back sweaty. They all have the same standard design with variations only in the number of inside pockets and colors. Get a tape measure and make sure you know how small this backpack is actually going to be 10" x 11.5". It is more like a small purse. If you want an actual backpack your child can use look at the skecher sequin backpack twinkle that measures 14" x 16". Some school backpacks are 11" x 18".
As usual Amazon gets it here fast. The Vaultz case seems well made, and very usable, except for the really bad combination locks. Everything (laptop and accessories) fits very well. Did I mention the really bad locks. I would have gladly paid another five or even ten dollars more to have locks that actually work. I have to physically hit the left side to get it to even close. the right side does fine but it is difficult to rotate the tumblers (as is the left side). I have other Vaultz products, and I am very disappointed in this attempt to cut costs. I do not need the locks but they are the only way to close the case which makes it worse to deal with on a daily basis.

THE LOCKS! as another mentioned are junk, the first case BOTH locks went south after 6 days... I got a replacement and they worked for about 4 months and crapped out. I am very easy with my stuff and treated it nice, but the tumblers felt like any day they were going to go. I have to manually slide the locks in to hold the latches down and thats how the case closes. One of the better laptop briefcases that I have ever had. At first when I ordered it, I had my doubts because I didn't feel I needed such a secure laptop case. Boy, was I in for a surprise. At work, this is the only laptop case we use. Both the lock and the sturdiness of the case have saved me occasion after occasion. To date, I've been using it for over 1 year and still no problems. This bag is great. It has tons of space, lots of pockets to organize things, and is a beautiful color (although it does get dirty easily). I bought this for my 15.4" Toshiba laptop, and let's just say, its a tight fit. I basically have to shove the computer in there. The description says it fits up to 15.4" laptops but just know, its really meant for a smaller size laptop, as mine just barely fits.

This bag is roomy thats a plus.It fits most anything I need. The problem is the strap is too long (maybe bc im short) and the top flap comes open often. I would preffer a bag I can grab and go and I have trouble with the long strap and opening top flap when i grab out of my car from drivers seat.Really like this bag. It is a great size. I used it in addition to a carry on bag to hold my laptop, novel (a large hardcover book), wallet and more when flying. My only complaint is that it had a chemy smell when it arrived.The design is very cute and exactly as it appears in the picture.

I bought this item to use as my only bag when traveling light. I like to fly discount carriers, some of which charge even for carry on bags. I usually would just use a backpack with a laptop compartment and put it under the seat in front me. The main problem with that strategy was that clothes would not stay folded and end up wrinkled. This is a very lightweight, portable option to a wheel aboard carry on. I wish it was an inch or two thicker to be closer to the max carry on size but it serves my purposes well. The first time I used this was on a 12 day trip to Europe where we were taking trains from city to city and I didn't want to be dragging my luggage on the subway. This bag was great for a trip with the kids. As a Dad I'm always carrying something besides my stuff. Being able to use this as a backpack while still having the organizational features of luggage was great. I always had 2 hands available and the bag didn't flop around like a messenger bag would have. This is not a real backpack however. If your thinking about hiking the appalachian trail with this thing you'll be sorry. Its comfortable enough to get you through the airport but its not a super long distance hauler. To be fair I don't think it could be. Most real backpacks of this size have some sort of frame and weigh twice as much which would not be an advantage on a plane. I normally travel very light. I don't bring more than 4 days of clothing as I always find a way to clean them. Having said that this bag swallowed this easily. I didn't bring a suit or a change of shoes which would have filled more of this bag. The suit also would have needed some protection or at least the dry cleaning bag as it might wrinkle. I found the internal straps very helpful in keeping the clothes compact and less lumpy. I also got the packing cube which is helpful. The bag fit very easily on all the planes and the messenger strap did double duty replacing a cheap strap on a soft sided cooler during the trip. All and all if you travel light and need both hands to manage other stuff and want to get through airports quickly this bag is perfect. If I still traveled a lot for business I might use this bag. I always found the wheeled bags would fall over or be difficult to get around in a crowd. It was nice not to be trailing a rolling bag. I just don't know if it would wrinkle your suit.
I expected a larger lunch bag; this is a smaller sandwich cooler...it will hold 2 sandwiches. It appears well made but I ended up purchasing a larger cooler bag that would carry this sandwich bag with a drink.

We're going on a 7 day cruise and everything my 2 year old needs fit well into this suitcase, including swimmers and beach towel I will admit to being a super packer which means I roll all clothing. This case is sturdy and roomy and the outside pockets let the little one have easy access to small toys and snacks. For children a little older, there is plenty of room for a week at Grandma's, although there would not be room for bigger toys or large cuddlies. The zippers work well and the design is enough like Mom or Dad's to make the little one feel grown up. Another reviewer suggested this would fit under the seat of a plane. I fly a fair amount and this case seems a little too big for that, but it would certainly be no problem in the luggage compartments above the seat. The price of this was a lot less than other comparable luggage I looked at but I was not disappointed in any way. It does not have ball rollers, but that is not important on a case this size. The zippers are color coordinated and strong, as is the stitching. I have nothing negative to say about this case, and I rely strongly on customer reviews, so I hope this helps. The bag is a bit smaller than I was expecting but cute. My problem with this product is that the zippers split and don't hold on the very first use. The inside zipper and outside zippers split the seem immediately. I'm very disappointed.

This is a very nice bag. It alsoto loks like it could be a good computer case. It is well padded. I ordered one of these for my wife and it was defective. It was a manufacturer default on the stitching. I emailed the company letting them know this and they are replacing it for free. I dont even have to return the damaged item. Thats awesome, it saves me money on shipping charges. And i know the wife will be really happy to get a new one that is in better condition.
While you might like this bag as a shoulder bag, the adjustable straps do not work well as a backpack.

I bought this bag, because I am a working mom, and I am always feeling like a bag lady, carrying my purse, my lunch bag, and my son's diaper bag. I wanted something that was not small, but also not huge. It needed to be stylish for me to take to work, but could also be used for everyday use. This bag does all of that. I am able to place all my personal things, and have room to put my lunch inside. There is also enough room, where I can add some snack, drink bottle, and extra diapers for my little one. I mainly use it as a shoulder strap; adjustable straps do not work well as when you convert it to a backpack. However, the ability to do so is a great asset when you need the extra hand or waist when you need to carry your little one. I don't recommend this for people who need to carry heavy items like school books; as I could see how the straps can break. The bag is great so far. One of the photos shows the bag as a backpack hooked up to the top side rings instead of the lower rings. The overall quality is excellent and the functionality is great also. The snaps along with the buckles and zippers are nice. The buckles are not just decoration, they actually work both ways...snap or buckle. I'm actually impressed. The price was also great for the quality.
The iPod port is simply a plastic inlet that goes to the oversized pocket. Your iPod would be lost in the pocket (we assumed it had a nice tight holder and a plug to the ipod like the dry-packs/dry-case products Drycase Waterproof iPhone, Mp3 & iPod Case with Waterproof Headphones). The yellow is more golden and not the bright yellow my daughter wanted and that the photo shows. On the positive side, it is bigger than most string bags. So other than the extra pocket and the plastic inlet, I'm not sure what makes this deluxe.
