Retro Pink Floral American Princess Shoulder Messenger Sling Bag

Purchased this bag for my 8th grade daughter for this school year. I received it on August 20th, 2011. She went to school with it on August 22nd, 2011 (1st day of school) by August 24 the shoulder strap was coming off the bag! You may be wondering what in the world my daughter had in her bag! A composition note book, 1 math book, a 3 ring binder with about 50 pages of paper in it! It is not like she was carrying an elephant in it! This bag is not worth buying. Look for something else.

I bought this bag for my 12 y/o neice about a year ago and she still loves it! Every time she goes on a sleepover or camping trip she uses it. I don't think I could have found a better deal either! For the price, it sure lasted her a while and I will definately get her another one if it ever wears out!

It may be affordable and pretty but it really isn't worth wasting your money on. Add a few extra bucks and buy a sturdier bag.

I got this for my 1st grader two weeks before school started and we filled it with her school supplies. When school started it was filled with 2 folders, and at most 1 spiral notebook, not really heavy. She did not put anything in the flap part. All of her stuff was stored in the regular part of the bag. After 3 weeks of school the stitching around the darker pink areas started coming apart and along the underside of the top flap, obvious fraying. It looks new aside from the edges. Either way, we went out and got a different pink (ahhhhhhh all the pink, help me) bag.

I had been looking at this bag for a long time, and finally ordered it. It came today, and I have to say that I am not impressed. The bag is different than pictured. In the picture, under the flap, there are two pockets. The bag I got only has one large one. Also, the strap to hold in the iPad is way too long. The bag appears to be well made and sturdy. I am sure it would hold up just fine and last a long time. I have not decided if I will be sending it back. I expected more pockets, and at that price, I want the bag to have everything that it shows in the photo. Even the tag lists pockets that are not there.

Sesame Street Elmo Red Medium Backpack Bag Tote

I purchases this bag for my 2 year old son because he loves elmo. The bag was a bit bigger than I thought and it expands out once you put stuff in it so depending on what we have in it my son isn't able to carry it on his back all the time, but i figured he would just be able to grow into it so i wasn't going to bother sending it back for a smaller one.

We have used this as a everyday bag for him when he goes to daycare to carry his pullups, wipes, toys and snacks. It has been stuffed with clothes and shoes alsothe bag seems to be durable and my son loves it.

If your getting this for a toddler though you might want to get a smaller sized one as my son is 2 and most think he is either 3 or 4 already because of his height and the bag was a little too big for him.

We haven't used it yet but as an Elmo lover its good fot me. Its perfect size for my 4 year old preschooler. Elmo himself is very soft too which I didn't expect.

Hard to believe we have had this bag for a few months and my daughter just won't let it go. I have an M17X R1 17" Alienware and it is a tight fight getting the laptop in the fastscan pocket! Also the material they used for the pocket is a vinyl plastic type material(not at all soft) and could have been padded. Overall i love the case as it is very well made and loaded with pockets and storage space. Anyone know what the back of the case(black padded pocket thing) is for?

My high school age son chose this backpack at the start of school last year. He carried it to school every day all year. Im heavy on Manhattan portage gear, and I love the culture and design and quality that goes into these bags... the bag can hold a size 13 shoebox, a 15 inch macbook pro, it's charger, a book, some hygenic gear (in the pouch) and a few small items ALL AT ONCE! The Coudura fabric isnt waterproof, but it dries quickly when SOAKED in the new jersey rain, and hose damn straps, it keeps everything compressed, along with the drawstring under it. but why do i give this bag a four? I i wish it was better organizing my stuff. A strap inside of it would be nice, or some reflectors on the exterior of the bag. i mean this bag is like 120 bones! why not?! This bag provides back support, and promotes good posture, but that dosent mean that you shpould keep this bag on all day when ur carring like 5 textbooks and your laptop. Lowe Alpine Airzone Centro 35 Adjustable Hiking Pack

The Lowe Alpine Airzone Centro 35 (I'm spelling it out since Lowe makes so many similar sounding models) is an exceptional day pack. It wraps around your body snugly yet its design allows cooling air flow on the back and even through the straps. The design of the pack transfers its center of gravity forwards reducing the potential for being pulled backwards by the straps when you're loaded for bear. After using this pack for a few hours with a 17-pound load, it seemed that I wasn't carrying anything at all it's that well balanced and comfortable. I wouldn't push the weight it carries beyond 20-pounds or so but that's my limits. At first, I thought the waste belt and shoulder straps seemed kind of insubstantial, but I found that this light-weight support system was extremely comfortable and more than up to the task of carrying a fully loaded pack. The sternum straps ride on vertical tracks making them infinitely adjustable. The stretched mesh back keeps sharp protruding packed items from ever touching your body. Even the zipper tabs are superior to many packs I've owned, being permanently affixed and substantially constructed. There's lots of internal room and many neat features such as lower compartment quick access and a large top flap pouch. The fit and finish is Lowe quality which speaks for itself.

Now for the best feature: This Lowe, like many other Lowe models, has an internal torso length adjustment mechanism. In other words you are able to fine tune the fit of the pack to your very own unique size. I cannot emphasize the importance of this enough for all-day carry comfort. With other day packs you are either forced to accept a less-than-optimal torso size or you may get lucky and find one that fits just right. Unfortunately, the folks at Lowe provide the skimpiest of instructions as to how to operate this torso adjustment mechanism. I tried to contact Lowe by e-mail but they didn't respond. There's also no phone number to contact them so I ended up having to do some research on the Web in order to learn how to do the torso adjustment. The adjustment once you learn it is quick and simple and will make all the difference in the world when you're out hiking and clambering around all day.

I liked this day-pack so much I purchased a second one for my son.

The best out there in my opinion and the reason for this as follows. It says airzone. That's the important bit, as everything else is secondary. There is a sort of a spine like feature which houses a flexible but unbreakable structure. To this is stretched the fabric and this causes a curvature in the back, much like your back. however, the curvature causes airflow in the region for the entire length of the back...well at least until where the bags' bottom ends. This relieves your back in many ways. One thing is the bag doesn't hug your back and so no sweating or heating of your back. The arch of the structure makes it very light. I absolutely love this feature of the airzone. Its what makes this a five star feature. The reason I gave it 4 stars however is that its one straight shaft through to the bottom. This requires organization. There is an inner pocket that goes into 3/4 the length of the back. But this is not very loose and while you could fit your laptop in there, its a tight squeeze and makes the back heavier. The top pouch is a godsend as I stuff everything from cameras to power cords in there. The inner pocket on the back of the outer pouch pocket on top is a really smart after thought as you can stuff all the delicate things in there, like camera filters, memory sticks and also put your safe items like credit cards and keys in there (There is a key hook in this pocket). There are couple of velcro and non-velcro outer "rings" that you can hook a lot of other things to, like a carabiner. I've hooked a sigg bottle to one of these things. Nonetheless its a really superior bag for practically anything from lugging to the office to going on trips to taking it on the airplane. You can stuff a lot into it and it still feels remarkably light to carry. I like it so much that I think this is probably the only bag I'll ever consider buying. I have a patagonia and also have had North face and Jansport but really they all have the same bad feature in the end in that they make your back sweaty. They all have the same standard design with variations only in the number of pockets and colors. This pack however is different and its that difference that makes it stand apart from the "pack".

Kelty Wind Jammer Backpack

I've had a lot of computer bags over the years; timbuk2, swiss army, targus, you name it.

This is the first bag that I've used that has this much level of versatility and build quality. I see myself keeping it for a long long time :)

What do I mean by versatility? Let's start by the outside.

It has strategically placed metal loops and hooks to create many different configurations depending on what suites your mood that day (or how much stuff your hauling).

Straps on the back can make it a backpack (they can be hidden in a compartment when not in backpack mode).

Hooks and strap can create a vertical or horizontal messenger bag.

If you hide all the straps you can use it as a vertical or horizontal briefcase.

Another thing is that it has quite a bit of pockets.

The front has a vertical zipper which opens a map compartment. This makes it very easy to access and it's larger than it looks (fits a kindle AND an iPad mini perfectly). The front pocket itself opens wide to reveal several pouches and straps to put in your keys, documents, pens, chargers or whatever you might think of.

The main compartment has an adjustable laptop pouch with padded velcro sides, this way you can adjust it to the thickness of your laptop. So yeah, it will fit your super svelte 15in Macbook with Retina Display or your chunky Dell work laptop just fine ;)

The main compartment also has space for books, laptop chargers, tablets, headphones, whatever. I've stacked it with so much stuff, yet I haven't really been able to fill it all up completely!

If there's anything I can complain about is that the bag itself doesn't hold it's form well when empty. It's a minor con in a long long list of pros :)

Buy this bag, you won't regret it.

Petunia Pickle Bottom Boxy Backpack in Lake Como Roll

This bag is one of my favorite things. I love the color and style. The straps detach and reattach easily depending if you want to use as a shoulder bag or a backpack. it doesn't look huge, but holds a ton of stuff. The diaper change pouch is very convenient, and it also came with a wipes container. I would definitely recommend this bag to any mom looking for an attractive and functional diaper bag.

I bought this item prior to my baby's arrival and couldn't wait to try it out. Now that he is here and I have been using it, i wouldn't want to use any other bag. Love the hands-free messenger style of this bag. The colors and pattern are unique and stylish. I've received several compliments on it. Lots of room, a hook for your keys, pockets for all of your things. Option to wear it as a backpack is cool. The attached fold-out changing pad is great! It comes in handy when using the cold, hard changing tables in public restrooms. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the velcro; it's really loud when pulling it open, and it startles my baby awake if I'm not extra careful. Other than that, it's perfect! Very happy with my purchase.

Topeak Air BackPack

I purchased this backpack to use while riding on both the road and trails. I have a camelbak reservoir I took from my old camelbak, small pump, innertube, and multitool in the pack everytime I ride and I find it to be very comfortable. I am 6'1" and purchased the medium pack. It seems to fit fine, no issue. The biggest thing I like is that the pack keeps your belongings dry even though your back is soaking wet after longer rides.

My only gripe about this backpack and it may just be my stupidty, but I thought the pack came with a reservoir and tool holder that straps inside the pack. It did not come with either of these which was disappointing. So you need to spend $100 on the bag plus additional money on accesories to go with the bag.

The bag is well constructed and I am happy with it. But if I had to do it again I may have searched out other products.
