Mobile Edge Alienware Orion ScanFast Checkpoint Friendly Tactical Briefcase (AWBC17C)

Bought this bag for my M14x, offers abundance of room holds my charger and controllers and such at least when you have an M14x, have taken it on trips and to work very often and have no real complaints other than the strap it comes with is extremely uncomfortable.

I have an M17X R1 17" Alienware and it is a tight fight getting the laptop in the fastscan pocket! Also the material they used for the pocket is a vinyl plastic type material(not at all soft) and could have been padded. Overall i love the case as it is very well made and loaded with pockets and storage space. Anyone know what the back of the case(black padded pocket thing) is for?
