Bought this for a week long international business trip. The product quality is excellent, it has lots of pockets internal and external for storage. Very sturdy construction, and the wheels make for very smooth rolling. I put my heavy laptop bag on top of the suitcase, and it handled the weight without a problem.

I use it for walking the dog. I put the house key and some dog treats in the small pocket and 2 or 3 water bottles in the larger section and off we go to the dog park or around the neighborhood. Rides well on my back with it cross body no sliding off my shoulder like my old bag.What I would like improved is padding on the strap and or a softer edging on the strap. It does chaff the neck. I am going to get some padding to put around the strap where it hits my neck/shoulder area where it rests. That is my only issue wth it.

Clark & Mayfield Irvington Bowler Vintage Leather 15.6" Laptop Tote
I have owned this bag for 1 month and have used it every day. The bag has already shown some large signs of wear and tear, the leather is fading and shows cracks and the top does droop after the laptop is put in it and it appears to look caved in. This was NOT worth the $180 I paid for it and am disappointed with the quality. I will most likely have to replace this soon as I use it for business and it looks too worn. Very unhappy with the quality.
-I love the organizational sections. pockets & etc. This is a real improvement for me. These pictures don't know the pockets inside the little front section, which are also useful.
-I also like the handle. It's short enough that I can hold it with my hand, long enough that I can put it over my shoulder (at least during summer, without heavy coats) and in-between enough that I can drape in on my front arm. The long strap is also useful, of course.
-I just flew with it the first time. The baggage strap worked nicely, and it fit under the seat in front of me (sideways), and I was in a window seat, that didn't have the full foot-area width! I wasn't sure this would work, so this is good.
Why wasn't I sure? This brings up the first provision:
-The bag is definitely taller than anything I'm putting in it. I wish it were shorter. Or, I wish there were two verticle rows of inside pockets so I could use the full height for things like cords and the like, instead of them building up width. (I'm not sure I'd want the pockets deeper for usual use--it would've been useful during the flight, but I think that would be too much for everyday use.)
-The bag is also deep! Note the dimensions.
-The leather is very soft, which is nice. It also means the bag isn't quite as structured as the pictures look. Since I don't have the top of the bag as full as the bottom 2/3s, I have been noticing the top, which it's sewn-in corners, squooshing in as I carry it.
-The (black) leather finish is already starting to show some wear, especially around the top corners. It doesn't look damaged, but I think I'm going to have to polish this somewhat regularly if I don't want it to look worn. It is also showing a tendency to look a little.. flaky? Not a lot. It's in a way that I think is consistent with the pictures.
The last thing is not unique to this bag: laptop sections in briefcase bags are way too wide! Okay, I now have a 13" Macbook Air (which works nicely in here), which is particularly narrow. But even with a regular Mac laptop, these are just so wide that they are useless as sections meant to hold in/protect laptops. For that reason, I always use some variety of a padded sleeve-type laptop cover. (For instance, I use this, Acme Skinny Sleeve for 13" MacBook Air Purple AM00919, in black, which works really nicely,)

The leather on this bag is very soft and buttery we'll have to see how well it holds up. There is plenty of room and organization inside with all the pockets and compartments. Bag arrived very quickly. The laptop sleeve fit my 13" HP laptop with plenty of room to spare. There are 3 pockets inside the bag that each fit a cord perfectly (power cord, ethernet, etc.). There is a slot for my badge, cell phone, wallet, keys, and pens, and a zipper pocket for small items. The space inside is big enough for papers, my lunch, and other items I may need. Finally, I love the bowler look. It is cross-generational. I am 27 years old and it matches my style beautifully. The red is gorgeous, slightly deeper than bright red. The straps are comfortable with an overcoat. I love carrying this bag to work, and carrying out afterwards if I go to happy hours or shopping.

After searching for nearly one year, I settled for this particular backpack. Aside from being waterproof, it has TWO internal zipped pockets (one large, one small) for easier organization (this is a HUGE plus!). Although it's only 30 liters, it seems MUCH larger than my standard 35L backpack due to the wide opening. I admit I had trouble figuring out how to close it, but there was a 40 second YT video which solved that mystery.Awesome, awesome, awesome!!!!

I like this bag. I commute in unpredictable weather and this bag allows me to carry my phone and tablet without fear of them getting wet. I wish it had a couple more external pockets. The bag also tends to ride a little high on me or the top tends to pull away from my shoulders when adjusting for length. If it had a chest strap this might fix the problem. This bag is well sealed. The padding in the straps and back makes bike riding and hiking comfortable. Other than the main compartment and outer pocket, has a very small compartment inside which is detachable and a larger pocket. The backpack itself is great. It's compact and sturdy, and rolls very nicely; evenly balanced.As a laptop backpack, it's terrible. My laptop, a standard 15 inch laptop, and the backpack barely closes if otherwise empty. It doesn't close at all if it's pretty full. It might be OK for a large netbook or a small 12 or 13 inch laptop, but it's not useful anything larger.

this wheel bag is large in volume. It fits my fifteen inches laptop. But the stick is kind of loose. The sound that the wheel produce is bigger than I expected. I thought it's waterproof according to someone else's review but it's not. Nonetheless, it worth my money.

Gift for my twin toddlers. They LOVE wearing their backpacks.The outside is cotton quilted material but the inside does have some type of plastic (almost like a water resistant) coating and it's not cotton. Not a big deal for me but if you're looking for 100% cotton, this is not it.
I also find that the strings to close the backpack are too long. If I cut them and tie it I'm afraid it might fray. The quality is good but I can already see some of the thread coming apart so the quality really could be better. These could be used for preschool for simple items like clothes, diapers, change of shoes but I would not use this for a Kindergarten backpack. Great for kids who just like to wear backpacks out and about or for short trips.
Cuteness factor is over the top and my girls love them.

Admittedly, I am not much of a reader of dimensions when it comes to buying products, SO, I was expecting this bag to be much smaller than it actually was.This thing is HUGE!! I had bought it as a gym bag, but that is not what I will be using it for, I ordered another bag to serve that purpose.
Size aside, this thing is awesome! I use it for travel now, and it holds everything I need. The print is very cool (I ordered the houndstooth) and the bag is very well made. I haven't had it for all that long, but I expect it to hold up forever! The details are attractive, nothing looks kitschy, the strap is comfortable. Not much else you could ask for in a travel bag.

I've had this bag for two years now and it's still in great condition. It's very durable and it's comfortable to carry around.This bag is probably a bit big to use as a gym bag but it's great to use for travel and you can use it as a carry-on bag if you're flying. It's roomy and can actually hold a lot of stuff. I'm a girl with small clothes and small shoes so I can fit all of that in the bag. I could probably fit a week's worth of clothing in there, if not more. Perfect for camping as well.
When you're storing the bag, it can easily be flattened or folded without ruining the bag. It's not too stiff but can still maintain shape when the bag is packed.

I've been using this back for about a month now, and it's been great for carrying my 13" MacBook Pro. It's padded notebook enclosure is excellently protects and accommodates it, yet it could also easily accomodate larger notebooks. The front pockets carry my power adapter, Texas Instruments TI-89 Titanium Graphing Calculator, the power cord, pens, pencils, and an five subject notebook. I haven't found much use for the device pocket, it would be great for storing iPods or my phone, but it's inconvenient to open as I am required to take the bag off of my back. It comfortably fits either shoulder or both.

I say "almost love it" because it's very smart in it's design. Looks like something a professional wold carry, not a college or high school student would. The one and only flaw I found is that the shoulder straps do not stay in place. Every time I adjust it to be perfect within minutes it slips. I thought of sewing the straps in place but that would ruin the feature of adjustments.Overall it's certainly functional and well designed with a very tailored finished look. I said 4 stars, but if the straps stayed in place it would be 8 stars. :)With all of my previous Brenthaven bags still holding up the high quality, this is failing. Sleeve is nice but make sure you measure your laptop before purchase. I have a Samsung Series 9 15" and it was too small for my laptop but it fit my wife's 14" Toshiba ultrabook perfectly.
You almost wouldn't know it's not made of real leather.It does the job but it is a little big. Just remember, the seams are around the sides so you have to add some extra length + width to the total size to accomodate the seam.It smells like human blood or dead fish VERY STRONG. I had to prop it open on my balcony in the winter for 3 months before the smell was bearable.

update #2...the 28" pullman has just ripped from the zipper about 6 inches on both sides of the bag. This luggage is complete trash. I haven't even had it a year. The repair company is rude and unwilling to help. I am going back to American Tourister which will last me about 4 years.

This set of luggage looks good when it first arrives. It is not a 5 piece set it is a 4 piece set with a toiletry bag, I couldn't consider it a piece of luggage. The issue I had originally was the right dimensions weren't posted anywhere on-line that I could find. 30"x18"x12" are the approximate exterior dimensions of the 28" upright and 21.5"x14"x8" for the 20" upright. Even the dimensions on the card that comes with the bag are off. I own a few other IZOD products, primarily clothes, and they are decent quality. These bags are a big let down.There are 2 big design flaws that make them what I would consider bad quality; the wheels and the stitching.
The wheels on the 28"expandable upright have started to flare out to the side and don't roll particularly well. Someone else mentioned how they shredded off of there bag and with what I have seen I would not doubt it.
The stitching is my big problem though. The expandable material (which is very thin) tore open on the bottom side of the bag. Not a huge problem because I could close the zipper and it would still hold the bag shut. However when it tore the stitching started to come unraveled, the stitching the holds the compartment zipper to the expansion zipper. This was a huge deal for me. I had to fly from Hawaii to Kansas City through Seattle and the whole time I was worrying if my bag would make it through without ripping open. In order to reinforce it I used about 20 safety pins and 3 luggage straps. This was the return trip from my first trip with these bags. I only took 2 of them (the non-duffels) and only one seemed to hold up well.
If IZOD fixed the stitching and the wheels they would be great bags. The material itself is pretty durable, they look nice and they are sized for airline travel. Even if the aren't made well enough for it right now.
The reason I am giving these bag a 2 star instead of a 1 star is that the bags still hold items and only one of the two I used got damaged. I can still use these for roads trips/vacations but I will not be checking any of these bags at the airport again, they just are not sturdy enough for it.
The tag that came on the bags says it has a 3 year warranty so I will e-mail IZOD and see what they can do to mend this problem.
I would not recommend this set to anyone unless they are using it for road trips AND they plan to be very gentle with the bags. Anything else and they will likely let you down in a huge way.
