Leyden and Sons Leather Bag Co. - Oxford Briefcase

I was looking for a nice leather bag that I could take to work.

I needed it to be relatively light since I commute and yet I didn't want it to look unprofessional like the messenger bags by Chrome and Brenthaven.

The bag is made of incredibly thick and high quality leather.

It says premium all over it. The inside pockets are very well stitched and lined with three zipper pockets and plenty of room for all my folders, macbook air ,kindle, and some headphones.

I wish the strap had some more padding. The buckle is in an awkward spot most of the time when I'm riding a bicycle and lugging it around but when I'm walking it's fine.

This bag is the perfect size for me, not too small, not too big, and I love the rich dark brown color.

The whole bag is slightly heavy since it's made of such high quality and thick leather but I think it's definitely worth it because it means that much more protection for all the things you store in it.

The bag can easily sit up by itself and I've received so many compliments about it.

i definitely recommend this bag, it's stylish, premium, and authentic real leather.

I hate the glossy cheap leather you see on most bags these days.

I purchased the Leyden & Sons Oxford briefcase along with the Williamsburg Satchel; both are remarkably well made. The Oxford briefcase is well sized, and is outfitted with quick and easy fasteners under each of the front buckles. The stitching is excellent. The metal hardware and the zippers seem to be of very good quality. I just received the bag today and I cannot stop looking at it. I am surprised that I did not notice this company's products earlier. I had been searching for a bag of this sort for quite some time and was getting close to paying double the price for another brand. This bag is quite a find! It has exceeded my expectations. This is a keeper and I am loving it already; well constructed, functional and pleasing to the eye.
