The back pack was adorable and my daughter loves it. It did come with a box cut on the front of back pack. I glued it shut myself. I really wish more Kai LAN was available. My daughter loved it!

my 3yr old is ga-ga over Kai-Lan and loves that it's light enough for her to pull around, but still big enough to fit her blankie & small pillow in it on trips!

We got this for our 2 year old, a big Kai Lan fan. She loved it. It is not what I would call a rugged camping back pack, but definitely not flimsy. The day after she got it, she used it for her carry on, rolling it through the airport. It will handle a 2 year old girl who does not beat on it, a great place to store her Kai Lan beanie babies. A daily book bag? Hard to say...

We needed a backpack for our 2 and 1/2 yr old daughter for our road trip to Disney World. This was perfect. She loved packing her leap pad, games, DVDs and activities for the car in it. It was very useful and held more than I expected, but is small so it doesn't take up a lot of space. And the Kai LAN design is adorable.
