24" Hiking Backpack

Everest 8045D Hiking Pack, Everest Backpack - Red/BlackLove it. I like it more than my high end $200 camping pack. I went on a hike today with about 20lbs of stuff in it just to test it out. VERY comfortable. Padded back, shoulder straps and waist strap is padded too. Made of nice strong material. The green looks crisp and cool. Stiching is nice. Big deep side pockets.

You should know that this pack has only 4 pockets all together including the main compartment. It has two side pockets which you can see in the picture. and the "top" part of the bag has 1 slim pocket where you can put papers, maps, thing objects.

The main compartment is BIG. Lots of room. easy to get into. There are no pockets or straps inside the main compartment. Which is fine by me. Too many pockets actually take away of the ability to put big stuff in. You fill in all the smaller pockets and you are left with limited space. Plus too many pockets and you lose everything.

It has good placement of compression straps to keep the pack nice and neat, and as well as making it look "neat" when the pack is not being used completely.

It's an Excellent, nice looking. Strong, sturdy, practical backpack. You CAN'T beat the price!

Enjoy!

I was very unsure about buying a hiking bag for under $50. This bag is Great! Im 6'4" and fits me very well. I have not had any problems with it and I carry a lot of weight in it. The inside is lined so rain will not bother what is inside but you cant submerge it. I would buy it again over any hiking bag i have had.

You can't beat this pack for the money. Sturdy with tons of room. I bought a thirty dollar bag at walmart a few years ago and it barely made it on three trips before it started to fall apart. I wish I would known about this pack then. I ordered a second one!

You get a lot of backpack for the price. The construction is sturdy with strong stitching and the bag certainly has lots of cargo space in it. I am an outdoor enthusiast but don't see the need to spend top dollar on absolutely every piece of gear, especially when I can find a rugged piece of equipment for less.

I prefer this cordura nylon bag to thinner polyesters that are used for higher-end bags. I'm not an ultra-light backpacker so I would rather have my gear weigh a bit more knowing that it's stronger and more reliable. This nylon mimics canvas but in a synthetic material rather than cotton.

The waist belt sits a bit high, above the naval instead of down at the hips. But it still feels comfortable.

Only issue is that the waist belt doesn't cinch snugly around my waist. I have a small, athletic build and my waist measures 30 inches with a few layers of clothing. I adjusted the belt as tight as it will go and there is still enough space to fit my fist between my stomach and the belt. Sadly it will not work. But the quality of the product is fine for the price.
