I wanted an olive green canvas backpack that wasn't too big. This bag is perfect. It has lots of features and details. One mesh water bottle pocket on each side. Three separate pockets on the front, and multiple pockets inside. It even has a "D" ring to attach keys, etc. The canvas cloth is soft but strong. Not waterproof, but I wasn't looking for waterproof. I suppose you could spray it with some waterproofer if that was a must. Overall, the size and details of this backpack make it a great everyday (oversized purse), rucksack, or day pack. I recommend it.

I recently discovered that carrying a backpack is much easier than carrying a purse and a notebook bag, so that's the reason I wanted a not-so-big one. This is a great size. First, instead of 3 pockets on the front, it has 4. Big plus! They aren't real big, but big enough for car keys and sunglasses so they're easy to get to. Inside pocket sleeve is perfect for my iPad. The inside zipper pocket is a lot smaller than I was hoping, but since there is an extra outside pocket, that's ok. I think this will do it's job just fine. I just got it today, but it looks to be made well. If I have any problems with it, I'll be sure and share.

I carry a bag to work on a daily basis so it has to be light, roomy and it has to be a backpack. I do not carry my laptop, so this bag was perfect. Medium size, lightweight and very roomybut do NOT carry your beloved laptop in this unless it is under 15" screen and is in a protective cover. I carry my Nexus 7 with cover-and it's perfect.

I really like this back pack. I use it as a purse. I can carry everything I need with plenty of compartments to separate everything, very comfortable shoulder straps, easy on and off and hands free. If the zippers worked a little better it would be a five starrer

This backpack is very sturdy with strong seams to withstand the toughest use. The canvas is nice and thick so it will not tear. A very nice and roomy backpack.
