Keeps the sand out! Sand can stick to the bottom of it so you need to shake it out, and if it gets wet the sand will adhere to it and you have to wait until it dries.

This is the first time I didn't carry sand home in my bag. Makes clean up of condo, and car easier. Holds a lot of stuff, plus light and easy to carry. Colors are nice too

Bag is as described, great for the beach, doesn't keep sand on it or inside. The 'fabric' is more like a weaved plastic, and you don't have to worry about drying it to much if you get it wet. It is quite big, and easily fits beach stuff for our family. The only thing I would like is a little more choices in color and style, as it is quite plain looking. I also would like to see wider handles with more padding, as the existing ones dig into your shoulder after a while.
