I guess kids' backpacks are only so durable but this one seemed to tear apart pretty badly after about 6 months of use. Other than that it worked great.
My son is 10 and in the 4th grade. Every year for school I have given his choice for backpacks and this year it was Tron. After the first month and a half 3 of the seams came apart and being fairly new I managed to sew them back up on the sewing machine. Now after 5 months it has come apart to the point where it is not possible to fix. He has had a Disney backpack every year and they always lasted the whole year without any problems like this. The nylon material is just falling apart. If you hold it up to the light you can actually see through it in places. I don't know what makes this any different than other Disney bags but it sure won't hold up if that is what you want.
