Dakine Nomad Hydration Pack

I bought this bag to be used at college. Since classes are so full and there isnt hardly any room, I needed something small. This thing is perfect the bag is of an exceptional quality. it is very durable and just barely big enough to fit a school folder and my 13 inch laptop. it's also great to ride with the straps are comfortable I've even hit a couple of Dirt jumping trails while wearing it fully loaded with no problems whatsoever. Have not used the hydration pack yet but it seems like it would work great. Plenty of storage for gear and spare parts. Overall it's a perfect bag and I would definitely buy it again. I know this thing will last a long time And take a lot of abuse which is perfect for biking and snowboarding

It is smaller than I expected but I cannot make points off for that because it states the volume clearly. At first it was a little disappointing but I have grow to love this bag. It is made very well with a very comfortable fit. If you are looking for a bag for school to put multiple text books in, this would not be the best choice. Luckily I have figured ways around the smaller size for school since i dont have to take books to class. I ride a motorcycle year round so the amount of air flow this bag provides is very nice. It is the perfect size for the gym too. DAKINE is unsurpassable quality!

This backpack is kind of Tardis!

That's why:

1. It looks very slim and compact even filled up with a lot of stuff.

2. It has possibility to secure huge things outside of it.

I used hidden straps (designed to carry kneepads) and helmet pocket straps to transport my 150mm travel fork to the service without any difficulties.

And I even secured my 20" unicycle outside of it using these straps!

3. Even if specs say it's only 9 inches wide my 13" Macbook Air (9 inches wide) fits perfectly in the main compartment (I tried to find this info before my purchase, so hope it helps someone).

Overall it feels secure and very comfortable on the back, full or empty, even if you do aggressive riding! Highly recommended!

I've been through a number of different packs over the years and I've landed on Dakine as my favorite. They have sturdy construction and last quite a few years.
