LC-2 Kidney Pad with Belly Strap - Mil- Spec

Just received the LC-2 Kidney pad with belly strap today.

I was replacing the actual military specified one until i can get it scrubbed up and wanted a replacement one for the future. It easily fit on to the frame and the buckle seems strong. The associated straps are not nearly as thick as the military issued ones however i won't be taking my LC-2 frame/pack into combat. For the $$ spent, the unit is as expected and quite functional.

Targus 15.4" Gerney Backpack

I have a 15.4 inch macbook pro, there's a bit of extra space around it in the pouch. The bag holds a good amount, maybe 2 1 inch binders, some notebooks, your cables and a mouse. Although you might not want all that weight on the computer. There are two pouches on the side that can fit a big nalgene each. It's comfortable and a good size. I thought I wanted something smaller, but its just the right size for what I need. It's well constructed... there's a pouch on the bottom that I'm not sure what its for. Anybody know?

I needed a backpack for my Dell XPS m170, but I didn't want one of those huge monster XL backpacks for 17inch laptops. Although this backpack is designed for 15.4in laptops, mine fits in well enough (although the top restraint strap inside the bag doesn't fit around, but it's no big deal). I manage to fit all my other accessories in the bag as well (cell phone, mouse, ac adapter, etc) A great bag!

I bought this backpack due to a recommendation by a friend. It's a great pack sturdy, looks cool, and it has lots of pockets (two side mesh pockets, a small pocket on the very bottom where I keep my keys because I can reach it without taking it off, and a music player pocket on the top with a port for your headphones to come through, not to mention the two main compartments, one with a padded laptop pocket and the other with an inner mesh pocket, ID pocket, and three pen/pencil holders).

The only thing about it that didn't earn it 5 stars is its expandability. It's really quite sturdy which is nice but you can't really stuff a whole lot into it. It can usually hold a book and two three ring binders with my computer. But if you're planning on toting around a ton of books or binders, I'd pass this one up for a bigger bag.

SwissGear Mars 16" Blue Notebook Computer Laptop Backpack

I bought this in the post summer rush sale at Staples and have been using it for about a week now. This is easily one of the most comfortable backpacks I've owned. Other than the padded shoulder straps, the other selling points for me were the big side pockets that were able to hold my water bottle, the laptop slot, smaller size (compared to some of the more expensive SwissGear backpacks), and low price. The only drawback I've had with it so far is a lack of a second zipper for the organizer pocket.

I just bought one of these a few days ago. Today I noticed a sticker on the tag that says "CA Residents Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm".

The backpack is nice enough if you get it for a good price. But I'm returning mine. I've never seen a sticker like that on any of my North Face backpacks. Bad Wenger!

I don't understand why but the clothing of the front compartment is different and of lower quality than the other parts of the backpack. But this is only a visual issue and overall it is quite useful and I have been wearing it everyday since its arrival. The straps are padded and large which makes it quite comfortable.

I just wanted an inexpensive backpack to carry my tablet and other stuff to the gym. I watch video on the tablet while on the treadmill then put it in the locker while working out. I just wanted something to carry all of my stuff in just to make life easier. The backpack works great for this.

Everki EKP120 Titan Laptop Backpack

The size and quality is all I expected, and more.

Have you ever bought a laptop bag that was labeled "for laptops up to 18 inches", to finally discover that your 17.5" laptop wouldn't fit? I have.

Now I have a 18"+ ASUS G74, and there are very few bags that even pretend to fit this.

I got the Everki Titan backpack today, and my laptop fits perfectly. Not only that, but I can add my smaller 17.5" laptop if I want...

Alternatively, I can also fit the bigger laptop, a tablet and my DSLR + telephoto lens + tripod.

And in either configuration, there is room to spare for power supplies, battery chargers, external hard drives, and a change of clothes if I need to use it as a carry-on bag... Which I can, because it fits well within the allowed dimensions in airplanes bins.

The build quality is also excellent: large zips (so they will not get stuck), sturdy materials, extra strappings to make sure you can carry that extra weight easily. The inside is well designed (I counted some 15 pockets of all sizes, but I may have missed some), and generously padded.

The only quips I have so far are very minor: I would have liked a few larger pockets (most of them are only large enough to put a power supply in -the brick size kind I have for my laptop), and well... aesthetically, it's not bad (mostly because the all-black exterior is discreet), but definitely looks industrial. Then again, I didn't buy this backpack for its looks.

I got the backpack when I was damn close to $200 (that's including the shipping) so I was kind of doubting my self if I ordered this backpack, but before I ever order anything i always to research.

I spend days if not weeks researching the item and if i can find something better for the price, and honestly I highly doubt you'll find another backpack that has the same quality and features as this bag dose.

Im a gamer and will always be, but I also travel quite a bit and i had always wanted a backpack that i could take on the plane/car/bus and have all my gear with me, and this backpack dose not Disappoint.

Owned many laptops and various bags over the last 20 years and this is hands down the best bag I have ever owned. I have an Asus G74S that's a beast to haul around. I run youth events, DJ, and obviously take this bag and Asus wherever I go. I'll start with the pros. Space, # of internal and external compartments, quality, padding, zippers...I love this bag. I keep my mouse, firewire converter, DV Camera, Ipad 2, and all my cables...along with pens, binder, and on the long days, drinks and snacks. On the downside...I would say none. Originally, the primary enclosure for the laptop was tight, but with use, the G74 slides in perfectly. I believe the G74 is one of the largest laptops in the market. Unlike other computers it's size, the computer case is larger than others because of the fan system that blows out the rear versus under the laptop.

Will definitely be looking for more bags from this company.

This was a great buy; it is my new favorite bag and I bring it with me everywhere I go.

I placed an order for this bag because the style of it caught my eye. I like how it looks on but if I don't tie shoulder straps around my chest the shoulder straps literally fall off my shoulders which doesn't look too cute. That is after I sewed it so the metal clasps were separated on the shoulder strap so the strap from the bottom didn't slip out of them, if I had not done this the bag would fall straight off my shoulders... But wait, there's more; The metal ring at the top of the bag, where the sides come together to close, ripped from the canvas so I had to sew the canvas to the ring in a loop type of fashion. Skyway Luggage Nimbus 20 Inch 4 Wheeled Expandable Spinner Upright

For the price, this is an EXCELLENT bag. Is it going to be as durable as the bags I own that cost twice as much? probably not. BUT it feels like one of the most durable bags I've handled in this price range. Zippers don't feel cheap, and in fact feel like they belong on one of those bags twice the price. Weight is on par with other bags. The weak point is probably the wheels, they're just "average", on par with other bags in this price range. With that said, they have not broken on me yet, so for now I give this one an enthusiastic thumbs up if you can get it in the sixty buck range. Just remember that's all it is, an excellent offering in the value oriented bags.

There's no photos of the inside, so I'll note that the inside lid flap is the fully enclosed zipper variety. You can put all of your stuff in the lid loose, zip it up, and it's not falling out. Material is a lightweight a see through mesh. Be careful not to put TOO MUCH weight in the lid, and it should hold up fine, but don't kid yourself, it's a fairly cheap mesh. There are no other pockets or other features and nicknacks inside.

Another bag in this price and value range worth considering is the Rockland Melbourne 20" Expandable Abs Carry-On. Main differences are that it's about 1 lb lighter, and feels just about as durable. Inside lid flap is a solid fabric (still very lightweight and weak, but solid instead of mesh).

I actually prefer the construction of the Rockland a bit more, but the Rockland is about 1/2" thicker, and I prefer that my carryon bags stick to the 9" requirement so as to avoid gate checking the bag unnecessarily. I wouldn't be unhappy with either of them for the price, but I would not want to pay more either; there are better bags available at higher price ranges.

Nice luggage, just a bit smaller than I anticipated. Rolls well and seems sturdy. I have not flown with it yet.

This is the second one of these I am getting. My husband flies every week for work and this suitcase is perfect to carry-on with the laptop compartment. It is also soooo durable. We are finally getting another one because the wheels have worn down after 3 years of weekly use, other than that everything else is still in perfect working order all zippers work, no frayed fabric, etc.

Just took my first trip with this bag. Rolled easily. I am short and the handle worked well shortened or extended fully. Zippers are heavy duty and zip easily. I did lose one zipper pull. I notice that the metal that holds the decorative pull on, was not quite crimped closed all of the way. Laptop compartment is easy to access at airport security. Also has a nice outside front compartment that holds the Ziploc bag of liquids for security check. That also held a book to read. This bag held 4 changes of clothes, plus swim suit and coverup and extra pair of shoes. Bag had just a little room left,should I like to buy something small to bring home. I did not use the extension compartment. Bag would probably be over the thickness limit for carry on if packed using the extension zipper.Has a water bottle net, which zips out on the side, and holds a drink as you roll along! Plenty of compartments to pack neatly. My favorite luggage piece. Weight was under 20 lbs fully packed.

After a fair bit of research, I decided to order this bag & give it a try. Unfortunately, I won't be keeping it because of one major issue. The description says it's 9" deep. It's actually almost 11". Most of my air travel is done on smaller planes, so gate checking is frequent, and the flight attendants seem to pay more attention to bag size. I need something that really DOES comply with carry-on rules. Otherwise, it looks like a great bag! The other dimensions and weight are pretty accurate. The 22" height doesn't include the wheels, but that only adds less than an inch. Both front pockets are roomy and surprisingly deep. You could probably pack a 3-1-1 bag in either one. Due to the bulkiness of the laptop sleeve, I question the usefulness of being able to join the compartments, though. You really only gain space on the upper half or third of the bag (which is probably why that's all they show in the picture). Also, if you don't actually need a laptop sleeve, you might want to keep looking. You probably wouldn't be happy with how much space it takes up.

I am a flight attendant and I am certain this bag is better quality than my expensive suitcases. The fabric will last for ever and need only be wiped off to clean it! This is a very well constructed bag. Zippers are great, opens very easily and never gets stuck or caught. The shoulder straps are well constructed. Best part of this backpack is that it distributes weight very well! Makes a heavy load feel light. The chest strap is height and width adjustable so as to fit a variety of body types and has a handy spot to clip your keys onto, appreciate having my mace and keys quickly accessible. The side water bottle bags actually hold my water bottle and it doesn't slip out. Like that the laptop pocket is separate from the main compartment. Octonauts School Swim Bag

It is a good size. It was a little more plastic than I expected but made my grandson very happy. he puts all him swim stuff in it before he leaves for his swimming lessons.

My 3 year old Granddaughter loves watching the Octonauts and she's taking swimming lessons, so when I saw this I had to get it for her. Military Style Messenger Bag Laptop Bookbag Backpack Field Bag Cross Body

---UPDATE 2/5/13---

Since buying the bag I have noticed a few things. That metal tongue of the buckle (like on a belt) is literally poked through the strap. It is not like a traditional buckle that has a metal ring. It looks like someone took a sharp knife and made a hole for the tongue to poke through. The zipper of the inner pocket does not close easily

I have been looking for a messenger bag that was decently priced and looked decent. A lot of the ones I have seen had stupid little emblems on them like skulls and crossbones or skulls with wings. I did not want something that looked like a bag a preteen would carry.

This is a decent bag for the money. The interior did have a little bit of a plastic smell but that went away after a day or two. The main pocket covered by a flap and has a zipper. It is large enough for my 13 inch laptop and there is a smaller zipped pocket inside. On the front are two smaller pockets.

There are a few things I am unhappy with though. The lining inside the bag is very cheap and has almost a plastic feel to it. When the lining moves it even sounds like plastic. The lining is definitely not canvas but a cheap, thin nylon.

The top flap closes by velcro while the flaps for the smaller pockets close by snap buttons. I don't understand why they used velcro in one place and snap/buttons the other.

It only has one place to carry it which is the shoulder strap. There is no top handle (like on a briefcase or attache), or way to remove the shoulder strap and carry it without. I thought about adding one but with the top closing be velcro I am not sure it would stay closed. The shoulder strap itself is very thin material and doesn't feel very substantial.

very spacious and light! I can carry my beach towel, extra change of clothes, sunscreen, etc and carry my vball! Only slight downfall if they could have added a smaller compartment for keys and cell phones for easier finding but that's okay I just use a smaller bag to place in one of the side pockets.

This bag works great. Sometimes its a little snug to get the volleyball in its place, but is nice pocket to keep it separate from everything else. Nice side bags for bug spray, sunblock, air pump. main compartment good for extra clothes or towels when going to tourny's or league games.

Con Needs one more smaller pocket for keys/personal items.

Dakine 26-Litre Varial Pack

I just received this backpack by Amazon Prime. First of all, the quality of this backpack is amazing. I was skeptical at first of how good this would be but I now have completely changed my mind. I am a college student looking for something that would hold up and look nice on my back. I found it. It has multiple pockets and holds enough space for my books and even more. The reason I rated four was that I found a little problem with the way the two straps are joined. They should have used a better method of whether or not you would like to join straps or not. Either way this backpack is really great! Plus Dakine offers Limited Lifetime Warranty!

Though the main storage area is a little small, you aren't going to find a better backpack for the price. I only have one complaint: I bought this as a replacement for the exact same model that I lost. However, this newer one isn't quite as high-quality as the older model. The old backpack had a water-resistant coating on the inside which I loved, and this newer one is just regular nylon.

Port Authority BG85 - Basic Drawstring Backpack

I bought two black and one brown of these port authority basic drawstring bags to replace the old sackpack I had. These sackpacks are a GREAT value they are thin, yet sturdy, with leather reinforcements around the bottom grommets (which are sure to extend the life of these sackpacks over the ones I've previously owned).

Sackpacks are great to be able to carry around a few things when you're out for the day and can't be bothered holding a bag. They are great for vacation or a long day of walking around a big city or fair to carry around things like a book or an extra sweater or a place to put a sweater you started they day with and no longer need, etc. They can be folded away in luggage to be used when needed without taking up a lot of unnecessary space.

Just to note the bag is just one compartment pulled together by a drawstring if you want something with pockets or with quick/easy access, then this probably isn't going to work for you.

Get Prime and get it fast for free ! I ordered one in pink and one in green. I needed something to carry my steth, BP cuff and other nurse instruments for clinicals and this is perfect, it's small enough to not be a bother and big enough to fit what I needed. I got one for my friend as well. I'm pleased with the purchase.

I love these draw-string backpacks. I use them for the gym, when on my bike, or when I'm backpacking as a stowed daypack. They weigh next to nothing and can hold a good amount of stuff. You wouldn't want to carry heavy things in these packs because the straps are so thin (they would dig into your shoulders), but for most cases they are perfect. I also appreciate the extra material at the base of the pack where the straps connect to their grommets. I anticipate this will keep them from ripping after a bit of use.

I purchased an orange one because it could double as an emergency signal when I'm backpacking. It's not the most masculine color, but in that circumstance I am willing to make that sacrifice.

One little trick I've learned to make these bags even better is using a cheap biner (Coghlan's Biners) to connect the straps from each side together from the front. If you need to go on a run or a physical activity while wearing the pack, it will keep the straps from slipping off your shoulders and keep the whole thing very snug with your body.
