Looks very good, does not seem humongous, although very roomy. It easily fit my 17"apple laptop in an additional case, for protection. Plus, I can fit in my lunch, sport closes, my school papers, etc.It comes with a very cool "grid it" organizer, where you can place all kinds of little things, that tend to get lost in your bag.
Zippers for phone and laptop are protected from water, but aren't very strong. I overstuffed it once, and zipper broke. It was not hard to fix it though.
The back pack has a year warranty, which I have not had a need to test yet.
One more great thing: It is perfect for traveling. The top handle fits snugly onto the roller bag handle, so you can roll it instead of carrying. Also if you put the bag vertically on your lap on the plane it makes a perfect nap pillow. :)

I adore the design of this bag. It fits my 17" pro no problem, has tons of flat-lying pockets, and is perfect for travel. The zipper pulls feel a little flimsy, but who's going to gripe about zipper pulls? Zippers themselves are great and this bag has held up well for a month+ now of normal use.This backpack is the best one I have ever used.And the status was good. I love it so much.

J World Twinkle Rolling Backpack
I have bought 3 of these rolling backpacks since the kids these days carry way too many books and stuff for the backpack to be put on their shoulders. That's the plus side of these rolling backpacks. This and the heavy duty rubber bottom would have gotten 5 stars from me for this review but the quality/durability leaves the product much to be desired. In short, here're what we have ended up with:The first one, one of the wheels came out of the socket after 2 months.
Thinking that it maybe just our luck, we ordered a second one. This one fared even worse--the seam of the canvas where it connect to the rubber bottom came loose after a few weeks of use. We contact the seller (we bought them from via amazon.com but they no long carry this brand anymore) and were offered a replacement. However this last one (we are not going to dump more money into this product), the handle won't retract after a few months of usage. All in all, I would give 5 stars for the features and design, but 1 star for the quality/durabilty--so it average out to be a 2 star product.

Shipping:I searched through about a 100 different backpacks and many website and found that JWorld makes pretty decent reliable rolling backpacks that won't break the bank (which seems to be hard to find). I didn't like the fact that there is no shipping notice email though. It took over a week to get the backpack and it's dropshipped from JWorld which sent the wrong backpack originally. The customer service was good through the seller Irv's Luggage. They had JWorld send the correct backpack with a prepaid shipping label to return the other one. But it took over two weeks to finally get the right one.
Backpack:
The backpack has worked great for our elementary age kid. The quality seems pretty good, especially the bottom part that protects it. There's some great little panels and pockets in the first small zippered pocket. The 2nd pocket doesn't quite fit a good sized lunch though. But the main pocket is huge and fits everything needed. I also considered weight and it's the lightest for it's size. The handle does wiggle a little within it's holder, but works perfectly fine every time. I actually sewed on initials to the fabric to add that nice touch. The wheels light up when you roll it and are very quiet with ball bearings. It looks like it will last the school year and maybe more.
I looked at the JWorld website before purchasing and it has great detailed pictures & descriptions.
UPDATE: It did last the whole school year and were using for the next grade!

I just got this bag after trying out the Maxpedition Proteus versipack, which was a well made bag but just too small for my gear. Not wanting to get the next size up the Sabercat, as I'm not a fanny pack girl. I spotted this bag and figured I'd try it out. Very happy I did, as it is a Great price & a good size for an EDC, not too big or too small. If it's too small for you, just add a bag to the back by use of the MOLLE straps!This bag is made from 600 denier pack cloth, so it's not as rigid as the other brand, kind of wish it was, but it keeps the cost down as well as the weight. The other thing is there is no padding on the bottom of the bag or any protective rubber, so durability over time could be an issue. Especially if setting it on ground all the time. I added my own padding as I carry electronics in the main compartment and when I set the bag down and heard my portable monster speaker slam down on the pavement, that was it for me. So now it has padding!
This is a great EDC bag, it carries everything I need with room to spare. I was amazed to see such a small looking bag carry so much, like the 6 water bottles in the main pocket with room left over. The main pocket is kind a pain to get into since it and the front pocket are closed by use of the handle with the clips. So for quick access use the end pockets which are also very generous in size, or use the shoulder strap. The bag is made to wear on a vest, so its longer and narrow to not get in the way of the user. It makes the bag look smaller than it is. I got the black bag, as to not look like G.I Jane walking around with it! Ha Ha...The zippers are heavy duty but pretty sure not YKK. Since the bag is a softer material, at times it's harder to get zippers to open & close quickly, as the bag will collapse a little if it is not fully loaded.
I love pockets!! Lots of pockets, and this bag does not disappoint. I purchased it from Earthfair, a Great seller! Got a great deal and fast shipping. This was a very smart purchase and am happy with the bag, even with the few short comings I mentioned. I would purchase again, and just add rubber to bottom for protection & durability. Bottom line: $33 well spent on a Great size EDC with LOTS of pockets!!!

I just recieved mine in, olive drab, from Major Surplus and Survival. The bag is well made etc., etc., as stated in other reviews. This is a five star bag, not big, but lots of storage pockets. And for a little more storage I added a Voodoo tac dump bag, coyote color, on each end. Now, the 3 stars are only for the molle. Only 1 molle attachment row, on each bag. Why? Since you can't weave your bags tightly together or onto your back pack as I did, they flop when you walk. And the deployment bag keeps hitting me in the rear end with every step. I use it as a handlebar bag for my bike, what with the cool straps that you can thread through just about anything. The red color really jumps out and makes me extra visible to cars. Dakine Women's 42-Litre Overhead Pack
I love this bag so much! It fits well into overhead bins and it really fits a lot of things. I packed a weeks worth of clothing into this thing and I could have put more. It has handles on top and the side an it rolls which makes it easy to grab, move, roll, pick up, and zip up. The only thing I wish it had was a mesh zip on the inside to keep everything in just in case the top came unzipped. Some bigger Dakine bags have this feature I just wish they had it in this bag. Otherwise it is a great bag, traveled well and its really cute and easy to spot.

My 13" MacBook Air, iPad, and power cord fit into it with no problem, but without padding to protect them I'll be ordering another case. Domke 702-02S F-2 Backpack (Sand)
I have a number of camera bags, including a Domke F-2 bag, on which this one is based. You can - and I have -put a ton of stuff in this bag. The bottom space is laid out exactly like the classic Domke F-2 bag. The additional space above the bottom section is open space that can be used for a camera with lens mounted, a jacket, sandwich, or other items. It's comfortable and stable to carry when loaded and heavy, and like the other two Domke bags I have, is built to stand up to the toughest use and abuse in extreme conditions. I love the canvas construction. It reminds me of the legendary Duluth packs I use for canoe trips and is built with similar quality materials and workmanship. It doesn't have a rain cover and is technically not waterproof, but I used the pack on a week-long photo tour recently where it rained every day but one and my gear never got wet at all.The only thing I wish the bag had is an arrangement for carrying a tripod, and therefore it gets four stars. But if you really had to, you could work with some additional straps to secure a tripod using the handle on top, thereby keeping your hands free. If you need a rugged, flexible pack that holds a lot of stuff, this might be your bag.

I travel frequently, and always have to carry my laptop. So I'm always looking for a better case. First, I tried a messenger bag. Result? Sore shoulders and a sore back. Then I tried a wheeled bag. Result? Lots of inconvenience when I wasn't actually in the airport. Then I tried a backpack. Result? Less inconvenience, but still the sore shoulders and back after spending a couple hours wandering the airport after check in or during a layover.Now I've got this beauty!
When I want the backpack, I have it. When I'm tooling around the airport and wheels make sense, I have them.
And there are many, many pockets. Including one on the upper left that's just perfect for tossing coins, the cell phone, etc. inside just before going through security. There's even more than enough room for two Eagle Creek packing cubes one for the laptop accessories, another for at least a days worth of clothes.
The material seems durable, though the zippers may be a bit flimsy. And the watertight bottom is a definite bonus.
I strongly recommend this one, though I had multiple problems purchasing it via the marketplace companies. You may save some money, but I'd recommend going straight to Pacific Design (you'll find them on the web). They're a great company to work with, and if you do experience delays will honor the lifetime guarantee promptly.

I purchased this backpack so that I could easily bring my 17.3" laptop and all of my tools and utilities with me as I went from customer site to customer site. It worked quite well at first, but after a couple of months I noticed some of the seams coming undone. Several times I had to have the pack repaired and completely gave up on it after about a year. I bought this product a couple months ago. Initially I was very pleased: A lot of room and pockets, fit my big 'ol laptop.However in the past month its really started falling apart. I'll admit that I'm rough on my bag, but I bought this one expecting durability. The plastic strap clips are busting on me and the telescopic handle just popped off on me when I rolled it over an indentation.
Three weeks ago it would have gotten four or five stars (four because I'm not crazy about the sickly gray color of it). Now two, because i did get a couple months of rough use out of it, but i just expected more.

Mountainsmith Lumbar-Recycled Series Swift TLS R Backpack
I purchased the cobalt Mountainsmith Tour in November 2011 and loved it for school and bike commutes, however the only problem was the size. It was simply too big for the "daily purse/bag" or lite hiker.After a lot of research I decided to go with Mountainsmith again and purchase this new Swift TLS in black. It is absolutely perfect for the daily use bag! It fits all misc daily items and still has room for more without looking too bulky.
The front shove-it pocket is deeper and more secure than indicated in the pictures too. It can safely fit a phone, notepad, pens, mp3, and whatever else you decide to stuff. The compression straps can also double in function to hold a spare shirt or light rain shell. The hip belt is perfect too, just the right size and durability with airflow and security.
I would say the only drawbacks I have experienced with this bag are the chest strap (too slender/minimal adjustment and does not sit right on my back and shoulders), no haul handle (such as the one found on the tour) and difficulty carrying my extra large water bottles (this of course defeats the "light day bag" concept however).
Overall this is an awesome pack and I highly recommend it!

I think this is my very first review on Amazon ever. I am writing because this bag is that awesome. I searched forever for a simple, lightweight bag that I could wear while biking short distances on errands or for a day trip that would not swivel around dangerously. This is it. I adore this bag and am considering getting another for good measure. No you can't fit tons of items, but that's what a full backpack or messenger bag is for. This is ideal for: wallet, glasses, keys, cell, paperback and small water bottle etc. It's PERFECT and exactly what I have been searching for. Maybe it is a little pricey, but this is an extremely sturdy little bag with two separate compartments and a well cushioned strap. Aesthetically it's small and unassuming, which I appreciate. It would be useful I think for short hikes or touristy stuff too...This is actually my favorite brand of bag. I have their suitcases and backpacks as well. This was not marketed as a biking accessory and I only wish I thought to check with Victorinox sooner!

I didn't know that Victorinox is a division of Swiss Gear, therefore was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of this "Tear Drop Monosling." The well-designed pack (for men & women) features the distinctive red Swiss Gear embossed metal logo, a padded shoulder strap w/ built-in pocket, reinforced with wire for security, and a large enough main compartment for essential items. I carry green bags for further shopping, folded, they fit inside the bag nicely. Unfortunately, in the faux city where I live, so few people walk rather than drive that if you wear a large backpack, you're gonna get mistaken for a street-resident. This is the second Victorinox Monosling bag I have purchased for my wife. She likes taking it everywhere, especially when traveling because it keeps everything safe and protected from the elements.This is really convenient for her and has all the zippers/pouches etc. that somebody can use. Excellent build quality. As some reviewers have mentioned, the strap pocket is small. I can fit my iPhone 4S inside. However, it is such a tight fit, that it's really not practical (takes too much time to get in and out). I prefer keeping my phone in my pants pocket anyway. So, it isn't a deal breaker. I would give it five stars, but for whatever reason, my bag lacks the "slash-proof wire-reinforcement" embedded inside the strap. This was one of the features that sold me on the bag in the first place. It could just be a fluke. I'd recommend the bag to others.

Mobile Edge Alienware Neoprene Sleeve - M14x
The Alienware M14x is a pretty weirdly shaped computer. It's angled in such a way that the front lip and rear hinge jut out at hard angles, as opposed to most laptops which are more or less flat in the front and back. Because of the sharp edges, you need to make sure that it's padded properly when you put it in a bag--with all of the system's hefty weight concentrated on the hinge or lip, it would be very easy to damage. This sleeve was specifically designed to pad these "pressure" points, and it does a good job, for the most part.First, the bad stuff. The zipper looks and feels really cheap. I'm not sure how long it's going to hold up, but it seems okay after a few weeks. Next, that plastic alien head looks really bad. Mine came with obvious flaws on the plastic and has sort of a cloudy look as a result. Somewhat disappointing that something which serves no functional purpose is also really ugly.
Now, the good stuff. There is a lot of padding on the inside for the sharply-angled regions of the laptop. There's also an inner lip that fits over the front of the laptop to prevent the zipper from damaging the glossy plastic. It's quite clear that this bag was designed specifically for the M14x, as it fits very snugly inside. The handles are very helpful for a laptop this heavy. There's a front pocket, but I'm not really sure what you could or would put in it.
Another reviewer rated this lower because the power adapter doesn't fit in the front pocket. I don't think that's a valid point. The M14x's power brick is huge and approaching the bulk of an XBOX 360 power adapter. This is a sleeve designed to protect the laptop when placed inside another bag, not to serve as a carry-all for the laptop and its accessories. Mobile Edge also makes a messenger style bag for the M14x which is actually designed to fit more accessories. But if you already have a laptop messenger bag, this sleeve is a really good way to add some extra protection to those angled portions of the M14x.

I was not sure about this case because of the other reviews, once i actually received the item I was impressed. It is a little tight on the computer but you can definitely tell that this case was specifically designed for the m14x. When you first open the case it has a flap that covers the front of the computer and this is very nice because it adds protection to the pointy edges. The M14X fits snuggly in here but the design has a pretty big flaw. The charger for this lap top is rather large and though the charger does fit in the side pocket, it just barely fits and is a struggle to get it in and out. This is nice to carry my M14x. I wish the side pocket was bigger to fit the charger in easier but it is possible to get the charge and mouse in if you really work at it.

It is very well made and colorful. The side pockets are a great feature.

I bought this bag to keep my son's personal items in when we go to the gym. He loves to look at Pooh and Tigger and loves that I have snacks in it for him, too. He is 23 months old, and he loves it. As a mom who has bought a lot of "cheap" stuff, this bag is NOT CHEAP. IT IS WELL WORTH THE MONEY. He can keep it till he's in school and still use it. In the stores, this bag would be much more expensive, no doubt.
