Awesome backpack! Perfect size and style for almost anything. Will be using it often. The material is a little flimsy but it holds well so far an I don't have a problem with it.

I must admit right off the top, in cuteness this backpack is absolutely a 5 star in looks. But quality a 2 star. This was for my daughter who is in middle school and she does have a few books to carry (At the time it riped she only had her binder in it )well... it ripped the second week of school from the strap! My daughter was very upset. the backpack is cute but the quality is just not there. Piel Leather Drawstring Laptop Backpack - Saddle
I have had this bag for a week and enjoy it a lot. The bag looks very nice and is much more comfortable than some of my previous backpacks. I gave it a four star rating because I am really happy with it. I would have given it a five star rating, but it is a little expensive and there are some minor things they could have done better...At first, I was worried it would not be comfortable because the straps are thin and I tend to have a bit of weight in the back pack; but this is not the case and it is very comfortable, even with a loaded bag. Visually, it looks outstanding and is made of high-quality leather. It will fit my macbook pro, but just by a pinch. I would not mind having the bag another inch or two taller. I also would like to see more padding at the bottom of the bag. The bag is designed to carry a laptop and should contain the appropriate amount of padding at the bottom. I've set the bag down a few times and have heard the "thunk" sound. Another mild complaint about the bag is that there isn't enough pockets. The two on the front of the bag are fairly roomy and function very well, but I would have liked to see a side pocket (for a cell phone) and another pocket inside (there is one pocket inside). I am a little bothered by the top flap because it isn't wide enough to cover the opening when the bag is full. However, from a style perspective, it might not look as nice if it had a wide flap...
In summary, I really like this bag and would buy it again (but I would never buy the same bag twice)... Sure, it has a few things that could have been done better, but it seems like a really durable bag and is quite comfortable to carry around, one strap or two!
Skyway Luggage Nimbus 20 Inch 4 Wheeled Expandable Spinner Upright
For the price, this is an EXCELLENT bag. Is it going to be as durable as the bags I own that cost twice as much? probably not. BUT it feels like one of the most durable bags I've handled in this price range. Zippers don't feel cheap, and in fact feel like they belong on one of those bags twice the price. Weight is on par with other bags. The weak point is probably the wheels, they're just "average", on par with other bags in this price range. With that said, they have not broken on me yet, so for now I give this one an enthusiastic thumbs up if you can get it in the sixty buck range. Just remember that's all it is, an excellent offering in the value oriented bags.There's no photos of the inside, so I'll note that the inside lid flap is the fully enclosed zipper variety. You can put all of your stuff in the lid loose, zip it up, and it's not falling out. Material is a lightweight a see through mesh. Be careful not to put TOO MUCH weight in the lid, and it should hold up fine, but don't kid yourself, it's a fairly cheap mesh. There are no other pockets or other features and nicknacks inside.
Another bag in this price and value range worth considering is the Rockland Melbourne 20" Expandable Abs Carry-On. Main differences are that it's about 1 lb lighter, and feels just about as durable. Inside lid flap is a solid fabric (still very lightweight and weak, but solid instead of mesh).
I actually prefer the construction of the Rockland a bit more, but the Rockland is about 1/2" thicker, and I prefer that my carryon bags stick to the 9" requirement so as to avoid gate checking the bag unnecessarily. I wouldn't be unhappy with either of them for the price, but I would not want to pay more either; there are better bags available at higher price ranges.

Side straps have been torn out very easily during travel. I Would be glad if this is replaced or refunded.
Kelty Captain Backpack
Here are things that can be hard to tell before you actually get it in your hands:Construction quality is top-notch. The type you would have found in a boutique company USA made pack from 20-30 years ago. This one is made in the Phillipines.
The zippers are YKK. The smoothest & best.
The front pocket is hard to figure in photos but basically it is a pleated, huge pocket that zips on the right and gracefully carries a ton of stuff. Awesome. Better than expected :-)
The shoulder straps have fantastic padding. Super comfortable. Best I've had.
The inside "slab" pocket is like a file divider. It is best for documents, like it says. A bit snug for a 15" laptop. Not to worry as the main compartment is huge and accommodating for the size of this pack. I think it could handle 3 laptops if needed w/ no problems! Again, very pleasantly surprised by the great capacity.
The orange color is pretty bright and a tad shinier than I anticipated, but it's bold and cool, especially for SF Giants fans like *me*!
Carry handle is nicely padded.
Sunglasses can fit in top pocket (hard to see in photos) but not bigger or wider glasses. Certainly great for phone or keys or iPod though.
So far I love this pack and it appears that it should last for quite a while. Appears to be a very good value.

UPDATED: Decided to order both other colors due to some more conservative business needs. Both nice, but the blue is *stunning* and a total keeper. Orange is a lot of fun, but too bright for biz use in my opinion (keeping it though because it is really cool looking and will use for lots of other stuff).
Main reason for purchasing this backpack is for school purposes.
Pros:
Very sturdy and durable both from the outside and inside, including the stitching and zippers. Internal compartments for pencils, calculator, etc and laptop/notebook, which is great. Shoulder straps are comfortable and offer plenty of length to make adjustments. And looks and feels great, too.
Cons:
I don't like the chest and waist straps. They kind of get in the way, but I am sure you can cut them off and it would take care of this problem. Other than that, it is a great backpack.
I can see this backpack lasting for many years to come under regular use. Definitely worth the $70 to $80 investment.

SwissGear SA1172 Dark Blue and Red Trim Messenger
I bought this messenger bag to carry my laptop and a lot of paperwork and textbooks. It holds an amazing amount of stuff and seems to be well made. I wish it had a bit more padding for the laptop, however, along with another small pocket on the side. There is a good-sized organizer pocket on the front, but the sleeves for the pen holders are too short to really hold the pens in. I'd also like a few more slots for pens. But overall, this is a very nice bag that even fully loaded is well balanced when I carry it with the shoulder strap. Well worth the price I paid.

I bought the bag for my laptop and textbooks and yes I read the other reviews be for hand. My laptop fit fine. The wish for more padding is repeated with me also. The bag is fine for one thing but not for both my laptop and text books. I love swiss items. Pretty cool looking bag with nice zippers and comfortable shoulder strap. My only complaint is that it only has 1 water bottle holder. Great buy!

I shopped major department and sports stores for quite sometime looking for the perfect gym bag. Most bags I found were quite large and had a sports logo on the bag. I needed a much smaller bag and preferred one without a sports logo. I couldn't find what I was looking for so I turned to the internet and found the exact bag I was looking for. This bag will easily hold a toiletry bag, undergarments, gym clothes and shoes with extra room to spare. The side pocket will easily hold a wallet, cell phone, keys, ID cards or other small items. The netted pocket on the other end is perfect for holding small items as well. The material is lightweight and durable. The only other feature I would like to have had would be a pocket to hold my beverage bottle. This is an affordable bag and I would not hesitate to purchase it again. Highly recommend.

Lipault Paris 2-Wheeled 20 Inch Satchel
I've used this bag a for only a few weeks, and already the zipper is getting stuck. I probably will never use it again. There is also a huge gross-out factor: When the handle is telescoped out and stands on one end, that soft end sits on the floor, such as a public restroom floor. To open the bag, one must hold onto that dirty end and pull the dirty zipper. It is adorable-looking and if it's used mainly as a duffle, and just occasionally as a roller bag, so I gave it 2 stars.
ALPS Mountaineering Synergy Backpack
I recently had the opportunity to use this backpack for its intended purpose. I put it to a pretty good test on desert sandy soils as well as slickrock hiking and some moderate free-climbing on the desert trails in Arches National park and other hikes around Moab, UT.In the test it saw 4-8 hour hikes. Pack weight was over 30+ lbs and the hikes started at 4500-5000 feet elevation. Some of these hikes had some pretty good exposure to elevation on "slickrock" ledges and fins, some of which were only about 6-10 ft wide and with a 40 ft drop on one side and 400-500 foot drop on the other!
I like the style, even though it was selected for more practical reasons. The photos on this website, as of this writing, are a pretty good representation of this pack's looks, so I'll let you be your own judge as to that.
I loaded this pack up with medical supplies, including but not limited to medications, splints, wraps, bandages, etc. I also had all of my standard survival gear including survival knife, firestarting gear, compass/navigation gear, and emergency "caught out" gear. The only camping/survival gear I did not include was my multi-fuel stove, which was left out for space considerations. Had I not been taking all of my medical gear (I was in Moab for a wilderness medicine conference.) I would have easily had room to include the stove. I also had all of my camera gear, including a sizeable tripod which got attached to the exterior of the pack using the external adjustable straps. Finally, I included 2 full military MRE's and 2 liters of water in 500ml bottles, plus another 1qt in a military canteen attached to the waist strap via "Alice" clips.
Miscellaneous items that also made the trip included a windproof jacket and a fleece jacket. (The desert can have a wide range of temperatures in October!)
The pack stored and organized all of these items nicely. Access was convenient--especially once you memorize where you put everything. Especially appreciated were the double side compression straps on the sides and gear straps on the bottom of the pack. These allowed me to put the tripod either horizontally underneath the pack OR vertically on either side of the pack. The tripod was held securely throughout hiking in all 3 positions. Internally stored gear was held securely in place by the double side compression straps whether or not they were also holding the tripod.
I did not carry a sleeping bag or tent, so I am unable to comment on their wear/use with this pack.
I had primarily picked this pack because the suspension system promised comfortably distributing the load throughout the back. The product blurb promises all day comfort and delivered on all-day hikes in the desert with over 30lbs of gear. This pack was so comfortable that although my legs were conscious of carrying extra weight, the feel of the pack itself and its straps seemed to "disappear" after a few minutes of wear. For that alone, I loved this pack!
The waist strap functioned well. The shoulder, waist and sternum straps all adjusted easily and well, and securely kept their desired positions without any further adjustment during the entire week of on-and-off hiking I put it through.
Zippers seemed solid with durable, easy pulls. The zippers never bound with the material of the pack, but did bind a few times with cloth of the fleece jacket carried in the pack's interior. This was a very minor problem at worst.
This is a versatile, comfortable and very ergonomic pack. Although the low price made me wonder when I ordered whether it's construction would be with flimsy material or slipshod design. Happily that worry was nowhere NEAR the truth! Materials and design were quite solid. All in all, who knows? There may be better backpacks out there, but I have no hesitation in recommending this pack to anyone, especially since it's price compares extremely favorably with the vast majority of serious hiking backpacks.
I'd buy this pack again with no hesitation.

MacCase Premium Leather 17" MacBook Pro Flight Jacket (Black)
This is the best case for your Mac on the market. So much so that I decided to buy one for a friend aa well. It is a high quality well thought out and very well put together case. The stitching is perfect, the leather quality is excellent, and it will not scratch your Mac. Of course there several compartments in this bag and the good thing is, that they do not take away from the great looks this bag has.There are two areas that I think could be improved. 1) that little pocket is held in place by a buckle that can easily come undone, in fact it fell by itself when I was travelling, but you could adjust the buckle to some extent by bending out the part that locks it in place. 2) It needs a wider and better badded shoulder strap to make the bag truly perfect.
Given the superb quality of the Mac Book Pro there is nothing out there that even comes close in terms of quality, class and perhaps functionality.
