High Sierra Evolution Computer Backpack

I've been a bit spoiled with Swiss Gear and Oakley backpacks in recent years. I bought this one as it was time for a new one and it was the same brand/color as the new luggage I purchased. The simple reason that I didn't like it is that it didn't have enough pouches, cubbies, elastic storage areas for cables, parts, and a general lack of webbed and zippery areas. I like tons of little crevices so I can be very organized about where I put things and I wasn't able to do that with this backpack. If you're someone who only plans to throw a backpack and a couple other items in there, it could be fine, but for someone who works and lives with a backpack and doesn't travel without it, this one may not be for you.

I've now taken my High Sierra backpack in combination with the matching High Sierra duffel on two two week international trips on multiple plane, train, bus, and taxi trips. I also used it as a carry on for the plane travel, as a simple backpack for day trips around the various cities, and as a beach bag for a couple of day trips to the beach. It was great and stood up very well. The multiple compartments were well sized and made it easy to organize the pack to be able to find and retrieve exactly what I needed easily.

I love this pack. It is so practical but i notice some of the stitching is starting work loose. It needs a bit better quality control. Otherwisw a great pack.
