Bought the bag for a snowmaching trip in Alaska, Worked perfect! Has enough room for extra clothing, emergency supplies, and the option to hold shovels on either side of the bag. Has a pouch for 2 water bottles, and small little pouches that wrap around your obliques.
The bag is made of a super strong nylon, and is quite water resistant. Great bag for the price, and will last you many outings.

Bought this pack to use during snowshoeing outings. Was really impressed with the ability to carry shovel, snowshoes, first aid kit, poles and it even has an pocket for a water bladder against your back to keep the water from freezing. Actually going to buy another for my wife to use as well.
