Tactical Molle 3 Day XR Explore Pack Backpack

I ordered this pack as a pre-order to get ready for the summer hiking season. I really like the way this pack is set up! There are more than enough zipper pockets on the exterior of the backpack to hold everything that I need to take with me, and the material is really strong and seems to be of a good quality. Things I liked about the pack include:

-Great back padding

-Removable front pocket straps and waist straps if needed

-VERY cool zipper just behind the back of the pack

-large enough for my longer hiking trips, but small enough to be something like a school backpack

The bag itself it pretty large. Can't really tell from the images on here but it is big. The material is pretty good too. Some places are a little thin, like around the seams on the inside, but unless you hold it up to light and look from the inside you'd never know. I love the velcro stripping, great for patches. There are more straps on it than I know what to do with, so you could either try to tie them up or cut half of them off to be honest. All around good bag though, it'll pack your stuff if you need it to.

I bought this product to use for hiking, hunting and the impending zombie apocalypse (ok, maybe the last one was a little exaggeration). Upon arrival the pack looks nice made of good material, PALs compatible tons of storage / pockets. The pack fits well but can be a little challenging to adjust (not easy to adjust when wearing it). Although I haven't had a chance to really use the pack, I'm somewhat concerned with the strap buckles they're made of what appears to be a very weak plastic leaving me with the impression they won't last too long or handle harsh treatment. Time will tell and I plan to follow up this review with an update in 6 mo. to a year (or if something breaks / falls apart before then).

I still think for the price the pack is a pretty good value considering 5.11 and others sell packs of similar sizes for up to double the price. However, if this doesn't last or handle the expectations of a tactical pack I will probably buy a 5.11 type brand of backpack.

I bought this mainly for the perceived value so far I'm pleased with the purchase and would do it again.
