The hard shell is durable, the zipper is sturdy, and there's even a hook-and-look strap to hold the laptop still, although that seems unnecessary because the fit is already snug. I throw the Eee PC in here for my commute by bike and bus, and I never have to worry about it getting damaged. Great product. One caveat: the description mentions an interior pocket, but because the shell is hard and the laptop fits so neatly in it, you can't fit anything in the pocket thicker than a few pieces of paper.
I purchased the Premium Laptop Just Fit Cover for my Asus to travel from Texas to Disney World. The sleeve protected my computer well. No damage or scratches so far. It was a tight fit but I was also able to fit my charger in too.
