High Sierra Malcolm Backpack

I have only had this backpack for a month, so I cannot necessarily comment on how durable it is. However, thus far, it has been fantastic.

There is plenty of room in this backpack, and I am thankful I didn't get something bigger.

There are 2 main large compartments. The largest contains the padded computer compartment and will hold about three 1" binders (4 is pushing it). The other large compartment I use to hold a sweater when I'm in the air conditioning.

There are 2 small compartments. The first is perfect for holding my phone, keys, chapstick, mp3 player, etc with plenty of room to spare. The other is the front compartment which holds plenty of pens/pencils.

The straps are cushioned which is nice on the shoulders. One strap has a mesh holder for my phone which is great when I'm walking somewhere and want to check it more frequently.

There are 2 mesh holders on the outside of the backpack to hold water bottles. This was a great selling point because my last backpack lacked exterior water holders, and when my water bottle accidentally leaked, my paperwork was drenched. The holders are big enough to carry those 1 Liter Nalgene-type water bottles.

Vanity-wise, I have received a lot of compliments on the design of the backpack, with questions about where I got it.

Therefore, as of 1 month's use, I give this backpack 5 stars.

the quality and construction of this backpack is true craftsmanship. The material is thick so you'd never have to worry about wear and tear effects. Regardless for skateboarders or hiking, this backpack fits the purpose... its awesome. i've already gotten compliments about the design and coloring after the first usage. the pockets are actually a lot more useful than you may think from the picture. most backpacks that hold a skateboard are ranged over fifty dollars so the price is actually very fair.
