I got this for my 4rth grader. She loved it at first, but is now disappointed, because she won't be able to use it the rest of the year. It looks great and at first glance, doesn't appear to be " cheaply " made. My daughter carries only a 3 ring 2" binder, 2 small paperback chapter books and a pencil pouch, each day in her backpack. By week 1, one of the mesh side pockets had a hole. By week 4 of school, the top seam was coming apart. It is now 2 months after school started and at the bottom/base of the pack, on both left and right sides, it is now tearing (small holes) on each side. I would not buy this again. I bought her a really cute Hello Kitty pack, fabric lined on the outside in 2nd grade, that lasted her through the end of 3rd grade (and she carried more stuff in it). I expected this pack to last at least one full grade. So here we are 2 months into the school year and have to buy another back pack. I don't recommend this product to anyone, unless it's for a kindergartner that will carry just a paperback folder and a pencil. Although it would be a bit big for a small child. It did arrive promptly, but at $37 plus shipping, it should've lasted more than 2 months!

Great size of school bag for all their things! Great quality too. Also my 7 year old loved it. Very bright and funky.
