I bought this for my grade-1 girl and she really loves it! But I would say the size of this is good for Prek~1, it may not big enough for grade2 and up. Another thing you have to be aware of is the bag doesn't have side pockets to storage water bottle....

I surprised my 7-year old with this adorable light up backpack for back to school. She loves her new backpack! This backpack is perfect for elementary school girls since they don't bring home thick books. The heart lights up as she walks. The sneaker keychain when pressed has a light and the heart keychain can be personalized with name. This backpack is a bit pricey compared to regular backpacks but it is well constructed and looks adorable. My daughter's friends and classmates love her backpack. Happy daughter = Happy mom

Cute just like pictured. A little small but works for my 6 year old. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the name tag was on a removable tag. That has already been taken off and lost.

A little smaller than expected, but that is only because I didn't take the time to measure the dementions, or find out what a standard backpack size was. Oops. That was my own error. My kindergartener LOVES this backpack and it suits her needs just fine.
