I purchased this backpack for my 3 year old son. We think it's fantastic. It's the perfect size for a smaller body it doesn't take up half his body length like his 5 year old brother's backpack would, but it's big enough to fit full sized folders, papers, and a change of clothes. The colors are bright and it fits comfortably on him. The two front pockets and 2 side mesh pockets are great as well. Overall, pleased with the purchase.

We bought this backpack for our 3 year old son who just started preschool. The teachers asked that the kids bring a full-size backpack so they can easily send home 8.5x11 papers, projects, etc. I was worried that he may be too small to handle a full-size backpack, but he LOVES it! He can easily zip and unzip all compartments, get things in and out, including juice cups in the side pockets, and can easily carry it, even when fully loaded with "Treasures". It seems solidly built and has survived, unscathed, 2 airplane rides and 4 months of preschool so far! *LOL* Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to friends!My son started preschool this year and he was so excited to get his "Buzz Lightyear" backpack. The bag is very sturdy and has held up very well as it's been dragged across our gravel driveway, parking lots, and the classroom.
