I've had this backpack for about a month. I'm in grad school, so it gets daily use and pretty heavy load (laptop, 2 textbooks, folders, etc). The leather is nice and feels genuine and luxurious. I like that the sides and top of the bag are "padded" feelingnot just leather with liner slapped on the back, it feels like thick leather. The zippers are holding up so far. The side pockets are the perfect size for a water bottle or a pair of sunglasses. Overall the pack is a little bit on the wide side. I am a little disappointed that the shoulder straps are beginning to tear a bit where they meet at the top of the pack. It is probably because they are so close together that a lot of strain is put on the inner stitches. It's nothing major but it makes me think that the pack is going to make it a year or two, tops. I wish it came with a warranty.4 stars because it's such a nice pack. Not 5 stars because I think a pack this expensive should last for years, and I don't think its going to make it.
