I was very excited about getting this at first-until I actually received it. I have had it for about two months now. The front pockets have literally separated from the seams, and I don't even put anything in them. The backpack is significantly smaller than I had expected, and hardly carries a notebook and a textbook. I had to put knots in the straps for them to be able to hold. The hardware is extremely chinsy. The hardware on the straps is bent and twisted. I am now not even halfway through the semester and I need to find a new backpack and wait to get it. If all you plan on carrying is a calculator and a pen, this is perfect for you. If you actually take stuff to school, find another option.

too small for today's HS school books. We had to return it. In the calculations we thought it was bigger but once it came in the calculations given add up space of the side pockets making it looked like it is bigger in the inside.

I am a college student and I have just bought this a week ago. This bag gave me no problems yet and it is able to carry lot of my school books, including my tablet. I haven't experienced any ripping or tearing that other people had with this bag. The only reason I gave it four stars is because the straps look cheaply made, but other than that, it's so far sturdy and it also matches with a lot of my outfits.
