Victorinox Luggage Mountaineer Duffle

I purchased this knowing I would want it for traveling cross country and via airplane, but I bought it a week before my camping trip to try it out there first. It fit a ton of items several outfits of jeans, tees, and necessities, plus toiletries (including full bottles of shampoo and conditioner), brush, a couple sweatshirts, a pair of sneakers, and a few other miscellaneous items. I easily packed for a week-plus.

I love the design, the purple color isn't too girly, and the bag is easily packed on a shoulder even when fully stuffed. I am now looking at other products in the Victorinox Luggage line to expand my travel gear.

It is a 4-day backpack & bag. It is very spacious and very well made and has a rugged construction. All materials are excellent quality. The interior has a double wall so items to carry are well protected. There is also a very big inside pocket and an external one. One of the things I love is the two adjustable padded straps on both sides where you can carry your jacket and a sleeping bag. The option to convert it to backpack from a bag is just great. I disagree with the reviewer that says that shoulder straps are cheap and easy to break because they are made of plastic. I have experience with bags and can tell that the straps are excellent quality and difficult to break. I have other bags with steel straps which are heavier to carry, I prefer these ones. Make no mistake, this is the backpack for a 4-day trip, it won't disappoint you. There is also an orange ring in the shoulder where I attach my VHU/UHF or GPS60CSX when I go to the mountains. All zips are YKK. And finally...it is a Victorinox, a name in which I trust since I received my first SAK long time ago.

It looks cool, holds a lot, and is an overall great weekend bag. But, the shoulder strap hardware is plastic.... Can't help but think its going to break at some point.
