I wanted something so that I could carry my Kindle 8.9" with me, but would have a handle, but not look like it was a tablet. I was afraid of advertising what I was carrying around (or leaving in my car). I think this works better than a business looking bag or sleeve. The outside measurement of the Kindle 8.9 in its hard leather case is 9.5", so this bag is not a snug fit. But the divider inside keeps my Kindle stable from sliding around and still leaves room for a small wallet, note pad or something inside. The exterior zippered pocket runs the length of the bag and is 7.5" deep. Top sips closed, and has optional long strap that can be hooked at each side of the case so you can carry it on your shoulder or crossbody (adjustable).Also very pretty. Good Purchase.
