I used this bag for my recent trip to Taiwan. I fit my Pentax K30 fitted with a Sigma 28mm f1.8 lens attached, Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 lens, and my Pentax 18-135mm f3.5-5.6 lens. I also had a flash and Gary Wong's big flash diffuser stuffed in the camera compartment as well as a Blackrapid strap. I fit my Macbook Pro 15" in the laptop compartment. In the big pack I fit an iPad, the laptop charging cable, a Bible, and some other random things. The small compartment fit my wallet, passport, some pens and pencils, and a few other things. It managed to fit a lot of stuff and carry everything quite well.

As for the security measures, my bag was never slashed, thankfully. The clasps to keep the zippers closed do give an added sense of security. It's pretty quick and easy to remove the zippers from them, but doing so does require pulling hard enough to be noticeable. Also the game isn't making it impossible for pickpockets to do their thing, but to make it so that they'll go to the easier guy.

As I said up top, the bag fits everything and a half. I use it for traveling to a destination or to bring my stuff to work. It is a bit bulky for a day bag if you intend to walk around a lot and need to be unencumbered.

This is a really great deal. I will be traveling Europe with this camera backpack. I have started using it in advance to get myself prepared, and so far I like the quality and the structure. It is a little heavier than I would like, but then, it is very secure and that is what I really wanted.

We got this bag just before leaving for Rome. My husband brought his camera and accessories such as flash,1 long lens, extra lenses, and hood, weighing almost 7kg, which is the maximum weight for a carry-on luggage on flights. When used with waist strap, the weight is more disributed. 2 suggestions. First, the side pocket should be of a sturdier material instead of the stretchy type, so that we could put our tripod. Second, my husband had to sew one of the bottom compartment as the 2 flaps has no velcro.

So overall the Pacsafe bag has put our mind at ease without worrying too much about pickpockets and prying hands.

This is a great backpack, fits my body with a lens plus a second large lens in the main compartment. There is much more room in purge compartments, too (unfortunately without dividers). It's also great for a13 inch laptop, possibly even a 15 inch one. I'd been waiting for Pacsafe to come out with a camera backpack like this for a while, and this one doesn't disappoint.
