I bought this backpack for my wife a few months ago. She travels on the train to work and was lugging around a heavy and ugly laptop briefcase that her company supplied her with. This backpack not only looks great (she has gotten many compliments) but it also allows her to carry all her supplies (laptop, books, lunch, wallet...) without straining her back.The leather is clearly high quality, and the bag is buit very well.
The laptop area is not as padded as other bags are, but this is the compromise you make for style.
My wife has beat this bag up pretty bad and it shows absolutely no signs of ware and tear.
