THis case really is more pretty in person than what it shows in the picture. It looks very well made and i love the color. protection wise, this case does not have a very thick padding. It is perfect for me because i use it along with my speck see thru, so i get protection form that. I definetely recommend this laptop case. Especially for this price. this case/sleeve looks a lot more expensive than $15, and i get a lot of compliments. I love it and I am very happy with my purchase. At first, i couldn't decide between this one or the zebra one, but i went with this one because it is pink/red, and also because if you spill liquid on it, it will protect your computer. This is a huge pro for a laptop case.

This lovely, deep magenta-colored case is both very attractive and durable. The shiny exterior will be a breeze to clean and will add protection from spills, as it is non porous. I can imagine spilling a cup of coffee on it and not worrying, which can not be said of covers made of fabric or neoprene.

Also, did i mention how cute it is? Well worth the money..

I agree with the others that the actual product looks so much better in real life than in the picture. The pink is really bold, almost red. It's quite sturdy too. Though thin, the foam is hard in feel and I think if I were to drop my Mac while it's in the sleeve, I wouldn't panic too much. Great buy, and fantastic price. The only reason I knocked off one star is because of the strong smell of plastic that took several hours to fade.
