When I saw a few of these around I had never heard of Aston leather before. I have done very well getting the best prices on well known leather names using Amazon. Once again you did not let me down. I decided to try this as I have a 14 inchcomputer now instead of my 15.6. This is the amazing black hole bag that looks like the expensive name leather handbags from the company that starts with "C". However, it does not leave you with a single huge compartment and one token pocket. There is a CAVERNOUS middle. It is not built for a laptop but I put mine in there in it's 15" sleeve and it goes down with room to spare on the side. There is a zip pocket in the main compartment as well. Another zip on the back big enough for the straps, going all the way down. Another generous zip pocket on the front. The two flap pockets are really two magnetic flaps that cover one large pocket going across the front of the bag, giving space all the way across. The magnetic closures make it easy to get to your cell phone. Nice leather pen compartment inside of main part of bag with a key fob. Two proud Made in America tags and Aston leather stamped on it. I carry a waterbottle next to my computer in the main compartment. My wallet and checkbook go in the back,next to my back, away from hands. Just be aware that this is not split leather but a lot of thick cowhide. It must weigh 5lbs empty but at 10 by 14"s it fits nicely in the small of a woman's back. I LOVE the top opening and classy-purse-handles. I sometimes run errands on the way to work and often got followed with my other pack. Carry it by the handles and it is not as big as many of the "bucket bags" out there but you will know where everything is. Security guards do not follow me around now, yet I can fit several purchases in this bag. so versatile. Use it as a carry on or an overnighter. Throw one bag of groceries in it. Love it Love it Love it. I will probably add metal feet to the bottom for protection but that will be it. It is as beautiful as the picture and looks like any pocketbook when empty.
