I am very impressed with the Quiksilver backpacks. The reason I got this one was because I had previously gotten their non-laptop styled one for my grandson and the quality was so good that I ordered this one for my son. Both are well constructed, padded and no detail is spared. This one too has an insulated front pouch for lunches, etc. I also like the fact that on the bottom of both is a rubber like material, which will hold up if bag is scuffed on the ground. I was going to pay $15 or so for a non brand department store one, and noticed a loose thread hanging out and looking closer noticed the zipper unaligned, and then, along with thin material that didn't look like it would support much weight, etc., felt like I was throwing the money away on junk. These Quiksilver backpacks are definitely worth every penny of the extra money and look like they will last and hold up a long time, so in the end, these will be cheaper and be more comfortable too at the same time.
