The front has a flap covering a "wallet" that holds a good deal of cars and there is a zipper pocket for change. There is a zipper on the front (where I put my keys). The back has a pocket (I put a notepad and pen there). The cell pocket is useless too small unless you have an old flip phone. The inside unzips down the side of the bag and holds a lot more than you expect. Well constructed and looks nice. It doesn't slide off my shoulder, ever. I like it and it's saving my shoulder and back at the same time!

Update: The side ripped about 2 inches down towards the bottom and the "collar" at the top is starting to roll upward a little so I had to get a new bag. Cute for the purpose but not long lasting for me.

I have never been a purse lover, although I do love to shop. To me it was just one more thing to lug around, and I always worried about leaving it somewhere. Then I noticed a friend of mine with a backpack style purse and immediately thought, "that's for me." I purchased this bag and absolutely love it. No more purse falling off my shoulder as I bend over to grab something off a lower shelf. No more grasping it between my knees so I can hold an article of clothing up to my child to check the fit, no more worrying that it might be carried off when I put it in the cart so as to lift a 25lb bag of flour. Now I enjoy hands free shopping!

The purse is made of a nice quality, soft, supple,leather. It holds all my plastic cards, umbrella, and personal necessities quite nicely. The only drawback is it doesn't have a place for a checkbook, but with mine being used less and less frequently, it's not a big deal to me. This is no fashion statement, and it won't hold much more than the basics, but it is exactly what I was looking for, and I love it!
