The color looks just like what is pictured. I really like the texture of the case. It's thick enough that I feel like my laptop is safe, but not too thick where I can't fit it into my backpack. There's no additional pocket for your charger or any other cords, but I have just put it in there loose on top of my computer & it works fine.
