It is perfect for a 3 year old girl. The straps are well padded and adjustable and it has a nice handle on top. It is sturdy and well made like luggage. It is roomy enough inside for her Leappad2 in the protective case, Leappad2 accessories, several books and her favorite teddy bear.
She loves the picture of the Disney princesses and the back is a hard shell that protects the contents inside.
Overall it is a nice Disney Princess backpack built to stand up to use that seems to be made to last.
