Hiking Trail Pack with Chest & Hip Straps (Blue or Green)

Hiking Trail Pack with Chest & Hip StrapsThis bag was more than what I thought it would. Very comfortable to wear and you can pack a tone of stuff in this one. Would recommend for camp trips, hikes, and any day trips out.

It's maybe just a little more durable than a school backpack, but there's decent amount of space. My beef with the pack is that the way that it's built it doesn't take any weight off the back like quality hiking packs would.

This is a good bag for the money. Perfect amount of inner and outer storage space and straps. Love it

We purchased this for weekend Boy Scout camp outs. Although we have made it work, it's a bit small to carry what is needed for a 2 night stay. It is durable enough for an 11 year old boy. It seems to be designed for hiking day pack. It has small straps at the base of the pack that would be great to hook a bed roll but are 8 inches too short

I wanted a relatively light hiking backpack that wouldn't be too bulky and heavy by itself this bag matched those expectations. It's pretty light which comes with ups and downs. The hip strap is not very sophisticated as it's not very padded, making it not supportive to the lower back. However, the backpack fit all right (with its chest strap and hip straps), and was comfortable enough for an all day hike but I also carried a very light load in there. I don't think it would be comfortable if I carried a heavy load in there. Also, the bag itself is pretty!

Below are its deficiencies in compartments/functions:

1) It doesn't have a bottle holder.

2) The bottom two straps with clips (i don't know what these are called) that you normally use to clip around rolled up sleeping bags, are really really short. So short, that they can't wrap around something more than... say 12 inches in circumference. So you have to find some other tricks to clip up something big like a sleeping bag.

3) The laced elastic cord on the front face of the bag has very little holding capacity, since it is actually binded down the middle (where you see the vertical black stripe). Therefore, it can only hold things in each half of it, so you can only hold up objects no wider than about 5 inches.
