Le Donne Leather Everything Womans Backpack/Purse

I have been looking for a new backpack style purse for a long time. It's absurdly difficult to find a decently made one. This one is almost perfect, but given the difficulty in finding the "perfect" one, I'm quite pleased with this.

Pros:

I like the 2 main zipper compartments, the rear one fits my kindle and any other paperwork I need to carry very nicely and everything stays flat, the other acts as the main purse compartment and fits everything well.

Well made I don't expect this to fall apart any time soon like most of the other ones I have purchased (one even started ripping after an hour of use!)

My only complaints:

I would have preferred to have quick access areas that would handle phone, keys and business card size mini wallet. The front zipper pocket is large enough to fit the mini wallet, but it is so stiff that getting it in and out is difficult, getting key's in there would be a nightmare. I'm using the large pocket in the back for my phone since it also wouldn't be easy to get in and out of that front zipper pocket.

Note: It is stiffer leather like the other reviewer mentioned, but that doesn't bother me. If anything I think that will add to the durability/longevity.

This is what I needed. First, I haven't carried a purse in years...don't miss it. Second, I like something that is organized, but not too much so. I can fit two books in the main part of this bag. Third, it feels durable. The only thing I would change is the leather. It is a bit stiffer than I wanted, but I think over time and with some leather softener I will be able to loosen the stiffness. Glad I bought it!

I sent it back it was smaller than I expected and, though well-made, not beautifully made. I didn't like that it was unlined.

The purse, except for the lining and buckles, zippers, etc., is entirely of black leather. It has roomy and well organized compartments. I do need to become accustomed to getting my cell phone from inside the purse and miss the convenient side pocket on the outside where I kept it in my previous purse. I appreciate the fact that the front and back leather sections are connected with leather panels instead of the fabric panels on my old backpack purse, which became frayed and had to be restitched more than once.
