STM Bags Scout Extra Small for MacBook Air 11"

This is the third messenger bag I tried for my 11'' MacBook Air and it WORKED! It has been such a relief to find a good-looking messenger bag for my 11'' MacBook Air. It's hard to find a bag that is slim and doesn't have a laptop pocket that makes my 11'' Air swim around in it. The padded laptop sleeve fit my 11'' Air perfectly. You could definitely fit an iPad in there instead, but it can't hold anything over 11''. There is another pocket that I put my iPad in. There is a zipper pocket that fits cables and other accessories in just fine. The two fatter pockets work very well with my laptop charger and my B&W P5 headphones (much bulkier than typical earbuds).

The strap itself isn't stiff at all and it fits very comfortable with the shoulder padding thing. If you want a simple messenger bag for an 11'' Air or even a netbook, I highly recommend the STM Extra Small Scout bag. It is much cheaper than some of the 11'' messenger bags out there and it still looks very nice. I'm a huge a fan of it and I'm very glad STM designed a great bag for us 11'' Air users! They did a great job with this one!

This is a small padded case that allows me to bring a power supply and a mouse on the road plus a small paper back book. It's very well made. The padded pocket is very well designed.

I gave the STM bag three stars because for a MacBook Air 11" I'd much prefer a vertical bag versus this miniaturized horizontal bag.

This is a great little bag. Fits my iPad3 great with extra room for the Bluetooth keyboard and charger. It is well constructed and works great on the go!

Its good compact bag!! I got it for my 13" laptop but it didn't fit into it.That's nothing have to do with quality of bag and size. I believe 11.6 inc laptop will fit and definitely notebooks can fit into it.

I was a little hesitant about getting a "Man Bag", but I needed something practical to carry around my Motorola Xoom. It easily fits in the dedicated device-carrying-compartment of the STM scout in a case, with some room to spare. It isn't swimming in there, but a larger device could certainly still fit in. The device compartment closes with sturdy velcro, and is not noticeable at a glance, even with the bag's flap is opened. The adjustable snap buckle that secures the flap is also sturdy, and easy to use.

The bag's many extra compartments are nice to have, and give me a practical place to put many items that normally take up room in my pockets, such as an ipod, and electronic cigarette paraphernalia. There is a zip pouch that fits a car charger and headphones very well. The shoulder strap is mounted on pivots that swivel a full 360*, preventing the shoulder strap from ever becoming tangled. The strap itself is very adjustable, and the shoulder pad comfortable. For me, this is just the right size. It lets me securely carry my device and a few extras that would normally be tough to comfortable tote around, but is not large, cumbersome, or feminine looking.

I'd strongly recommend this bag for anyone looking for a convenient way to carry around a tablet or other device.
