Before purchasing this bag I had never had a traveling backpack and did much research to find the "perfect" one for my trip overseas. Before purchasing I was attracted to the SL division of Deuter bags because they are made to contour a woman's body, the straps are made for a slender build and the hip belt is made to even out the weight you carry. The price was also appealing, I liked the color and the 24L size, so I purchased it. It ended up being better then I could have asked for. I traveled through europe for 17 days with this bag. It never hurt because of the hip belt and made it comfortable to walk around with my belongings inside. Its not too large which is good for my 5'4'' 130lb build. I was able to fit a lot of clothes and even two pairs of shoes inside especially when rolled up. It comes with its own rain cover which is helpful.
