Mountainsmith Haulin' Padded Shoulder Strap

Mountainsmith Haulin' Padded Shoulder Strap, Charcoalit's not like ive tried many different straps in my day but i feel like i got what i paid for. i was worried at first that the plastic hooks on the ends wouldn't support my 30lb tool bag but that doesnt seem to be a problem. and the cushioned shoulder grip feels as good as i imagine it can.

and it doesn't slip off my shoulder. so after three weeks of use i have nothing to complain about.

This strap is decent for light loads, but I would not trust it for something heavy or expensive. Plastic clips and a very light pad did not suit the specific need I had. It is well constructed for light-duty use...try the Klein shoulder strap for heavier/safer applications (the Klein is also sold on Amazon at half what it is in the local stores)

The stitching on this strap fell apart. At first I really liked it, but in the end, the disintegrating strap did it in.

The product is fine. Were I making it myself, I might make the pad itself a little narrower, but it's really made for toting a heavy object, and not for replacing a broken briefcase strap. (I used it for the latter.)

The padding is nice but not obnoxious, and the length is widely adjustable to adapt to many messenger-type bags.
