I was really excited about finding this backpack/lunchkit set. My son just got into Pokemon this summer. It looks really nice, but a zipper on the backpack broke after my son had used it only 4 days. We are having to return it, and I don't want to get a new one for fear it will break, too. Hoping we find another one that looks good, but doesn't break!

My 7 year old son was thrilled when he saw this set. However, within about 2 months of school (2nd grade, mind you) the insides of the backpack were torn. It didn't even make it to Thanksgiving. We still have the lunch box, and it is just fine.

Got this backpack set for my oldest son for starting first grade this year. He loved it when it got here and still loves it. I am pretty impressed with its build quality. I dont think he will get more than one school years use out of it but he is certainly putting it through its paces now and its going strong. Id definitely recommend to any Pokemon lover.

If you buy this backpack, your son may be happy a the beginning, but he will be sad when it breaks, and I assure you it WILL break. I did not heed the warnings of others and now I am sorry. My son really loved this backpack so we bought it in spite of some bad reviews. I knew that the zipper could was a problem, but I thought we could just be really careful. I could tell that the zipper quality was bad from day one, so I oiled it and we were careful with it. I lasted 3 months, before the zipper completely broke. Now I have to buy another packpack! The zipper on the lunchbox it better quality. Why couldn't they just have used the same zippers on the backpack??? Complete waste of money!!!
