I was looking for a small dance bag for my daughter who is four. I didn't want a zipper on the main compartment since she damaged her tutu and the zipper on her bag last year by zipping the tutu up in the zipper, which is a common mistake for a three year old. This bag is perfect. A very full tutu (Popatu), tap shoes, and ballet shoes fit in the main compartment without overfilling. I can put a leotard, tights, and hair items in the zippered area with no problem. She enjoys being able to wear the bag as backpack, and I'm glad that her new tutu will likely last through recital time without being destoyed in a zipper.
