This is a great backpack if you are looking for a SLIM and SIMPLE backpack. It has two zippered compartments, the large one and the front one. Inside the large compartment it has a slot for the laptop and has a small divider that splits the remaining area into two. So if this is not the backpack for you if you are looking for something with plenty of compartments.

It is well built. The straps and back is padded, it is comfortable to wear. I've had it for over 3 months and it is holding up very well, still looks brand new. The simple black with the orange accent makes it look clean also.

I got mine for 10$ but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple backpack for your laptop.

Dakine Interval Wet/Dry Pack

This is a great overall backpack. I needed a new backpack to replace the one I use for work and I was worried that this backpack wouldn't have enough space to store all the things i carry for work (laptop that's inside a laptop sleeve, papers, pens, all sorts of computer cables, ipad, and some other misc. items), but upon receiving it all my worries were resolved. This backpack is very spacious and has tons of pockets to help keep my items organized, rather than just throwing all the items together in one or two main sections. The pockets on this backpack include...

-A wetsuit pocket that is located on the side that touches your back. Unfortunately my work does not require that i have a wetsuit, but this pocket has worked out well for me to store all of my work documents/notebooks. It's a very spacious pocket that extends throughout the whole backside of the backpack.

-The main compartment pocket works as a perfect place for my laptop and iPad to sit, with plenty of space to spare.

-There's an accessory pocket which is great for storing any items you would normally carry in your pocket and/or a great pocket to store your sunglasses.

-Front top pocket is a great place to store my pens/pencils, thumb drives, etc. and has plenty of room items.

-The front bottom pouch is one of my favorites which is the cooler pocket where you can stash about 2-3 12oz cans along with some ice and not have to worry about the rest of your backpack getting soaked from it, due to its waterproof interior lining.

-There are also two side pockets which are great for storing whatever you'd like, but I'd suggest two more drinks (1 in each pocket) to refill your cooler pocket with when needed.

This backpack is a great multi-purpose backpack. I would recommend it to anyone needing a spacious backpack for school, work, or travel. This backpack seems very durable and not only does it have plenty of space, but it also looks awesome, too.

The item has some great useful features especially for those who surf however I was disappointed to the wet/dry section the material lining was not stitch into the seam. We may be returning product back for replacement

Actually, this backpack is really nice. As far as I can say (without ever having used it), the material is nice and it looks like it will survive over time (like I said, I never used it, so I can't say, if in reality, that is true).

Besides the look and the material, I liked both, the backpack is really tall. So not really made for short people. Also it is rather thin, so if I really want to use the complete room, I would have to stack the stuff on top of each other...which would annoy me, since I would have to dig for the stuff I put in first. Additional to that already thin backpack, all "outside" pockets actually take the room inside the backpack. So if you put something in the cooler pocket, you already used space of the main department. Same goes for the department on the back of the backpack. I find that really unhandy since it already has not that much space, unless you like stacking.

So overall, it looks like it could be a nice backpack, but since I am rather short and not a fan of stacking stuff in my backpack, it was not for me.

The North Face Women's Midtown Tote

I bought this to use on an overseas trip as my carry-on/laptop bag. I am totally in love with it. It fits my 15" laptop perfectly as well as everything else I need (and dont need).

The outside has a pocket perfect for the phone. And the BEST BEST BEST part of this bag are the giant drink holders on the sides. They fit mammoth size drinks and are deep enough that I am not afraid to throw my phone or keys in there as well.....yeah, as well....they are big enough to hold keys, phone and a drink at the same time. LOVE.

The contruction of the bag is also really impressive. It looks brand new and I have been using it pretty much daily since June (it is now Sept).

Anyway, GREAT bag, totally worth the money.

ClaireChase Ultimate Man Bag

Once beyond keys and wallet in my pocket I decided to carry a "bag" not to drop things out of my pocket. Size is comfortable to carry. Leather and construction quality excellent. All pockets zippered. Has handle along with shoulder strap, which I find I am using more than strap. My second Claire Chase product. I like this one better because it is somewhat bigger and can hold more stuff.

I'm a guy. I don't carry a purse! Not until last summer. I learned of the utility of a "man bag" from our tour guide in Croatia a year ago. I carry my cash, cards (in a small separate card holder), iPad mini, sketchbook (5"x7"), audio recorder, external mic, ear buds, sport camera, SD card holder, tape measure, cell phone, business cards, & 3 pens. I bought a caribiner to hang my keys from the metal link for the carry strap and had my shoe repair guy sew a pocker for my small "dumb phone." It's all there. The only thing I carry in my pocket is loose change. It's perfect for me. If I designed it myself, I'd add a segmented credit card pocket and pen loops on the inside.

Very thick, very stiff, and worst of all, poorly made: seams do not match, sewing is sloppy, threads are everywhere that were not cut off, and the inside cell phone pocket is upside down... in fact that whole panel inside was put in upside down which makes one of its nice features totally useless. And this is supposed to be a high quality product! I don't think so. Strap is nice and long and zipper fobs are nice quality with the brand name on them. Obviously I got a defective item though no real fault of the shipper. I have reordered a black one and will update the review when I get that one.

I got the black one and it is a world different. It is nicely made, softer, no threads, all pockets and zippers are correct. So I have upgraded my rating to 4-stars.

Hurley Men's Honor Roll 3 Skate Backpack

Great bag! It holds my board pretty well. The top board strap loosens up after tightened but it isnt a problem. The board still stays where it should. Very comfortable to wear. The straps are extremely padded. The zippers have the hurley logo fabric cords on them which help to easily zip/unzip. Both compartments surprised me at the amount of room inside. The handle on top is handy too!

The front pouch has a little inside zipper compartment, a couple compartments, and a removable carribeaner on a small bungee cord loop.

The inside main compartment has a small seperate pouch for a laptop. Its perfect for my ipad and any paperwork i might have.

I use this bag daily now riding my motorcycle. Love it!!

I am very happy and satisfied with this product. Love that it holds not only my skateboard, but also my laptop.

MadPax Spiketus Rex Nibbler

I bought this as a gift for my sons 3rd birthday. I purchased the smaller one as he's a toddler and does not need (nor is big enough) for a full size backpack. It came in the mail today and it's not a backpack at all. It does not have straps. It came with a messenger style strap that attaches to the very top which makes it cumbersome to wear. Badlands Diablo Day Pack

I was a little worried about the cost of this pack, but decided to spend the money for an elk hunting trip. It was larger then my last day pack, which is nice as I now can carry my spotting scope and tripod in the pack. And once adjusted right the frame will sit right and not dig into my back, it carried everything I needed (about 25 pounds) and would have carried more if required. Very comfortable to wear, even had to jog for 10 minutes in it with no problems. Overall very good pack and worth the money, just wish it came in desert camo instead.

This is my daypack. I have worked in the industry for years, and one day I happened upon this pack. I have owned a number of Hunting Packs, including 6 Badlands, and used them on numerous hunts.

This is the only Daypack i own anymore. This thing is a Monster! Pun intended, as Badlands actually has a pack called the monster ).

This Pack has been there with me through most of it.

Accidental Overnighter in which I got way lost, Diablo.

So many day hunts I can't even count 'em, Diablo.

At 3 lbs 1 oz it is light, but the suspension system, good grief! Keeps it totally clear of your back, with a mesh support so your back can vent. The photos don't do it justice, the pack rests off your back about 8 inches, and is shaped like a turtles shell. I have even on occasion used this space between my back and the actual pack created by the suspension for shooting sticks, my jacket, even put a grouse in the space i had shot while on a deer hunt.

Enough room for survival gear, a lunch, my knives and saw, meat bag, spare ammo, spare Nalgene bottles and bladder, water filter....... etc.

But not too big, as is my experience with most day packs. And it doesn't pull at you like most.

I gave this five stars because I have been using it for ALL my day hunts, both morning, evening, and all day for 3 seasons and have yet to find something I dislike...... well, with the sole exception of not being able to reach the water bottles in the outside pockets without taking it off, but as my hunting cronies are oh so helpful, not a problem at all.

Seriously I recommend this for anyone who a. loves a backpack, b. hates added weight, and c. carries just about everything and then complains that it doesn't carry well. Actually, no, I just recommend this for outdoorsman period. I even bivvyed with it once. Adventure Medical Kits, Emergency Bivvy, like $15.99, see above comment on accidental overnight..... way lost, another great item )

I found this pack in Bass Pro while looking at a myriad of other packs. A guy came along and said I wouldn't regret spending the extra money on the Badlands pack. He couldn't have been more right. The Hypervent series is awesome!! I use this pack to commute to work everyday, either running or riding. Super light weight and very well vented.

I also use it as my day pack for hunting. Just spent 5 days hunting in the Gila National Forest with this pack. The number of pockets is perfect for proper organization. I added an "Everything Pocket" from Badlands to carry my LRF and GPS. I agree with the review above that the side mesh pockets aren't easy to access, but it can be done w/ the pack on with a little effort and flexibility (no different than any other pack I've used).

It would be nice to have an added rifle scabbard, but that frankly may not work on this pack. I thought I could make a rifle boot work by hanging it off the bedroll clips on the bottom of the pack but it never seemed right and put the weight of the pack very far aft. Despite the failed attempt of my own bad design, Badlands obliged and made the boot for me which was not at all expensive.

It's a great pack from a great company. I would pay an extra $20 per pack if Badlands could find a way to have them made in the U.S. not Vietnam. Best warranty in the business, anything breaks, anytime, anywhere, they fix/replace it.

High Sierra Fat Boy Backpack

As a law student, I needed a back pack with the capacity to hold thick large books, notebooks,etc. It is hard to find a backpack with that capacity. I can also put my laptop in this bag. Sometimes it does get a little overstuffed and hard to zip but overrall I don't think there is another bag that can beat it.

I bought this for my son because he complained about to many books and not enought room last yr. Well this one sure fixed him up nicely. It is not to bulky or to wide but seems to fit him just right. He is 14 and he is about 5'2. It is not as waterproof as I'd like for it to be tho. He got into a downpour and some of his things got wet so that would be the only drawback with this pack.I asked him just now if there was anything he did not like about his pack and he said no he loved it. We ordered this for my wife as a replacement for a beloved backpack she has been using for years and which finally bit the dust when the zipper broke. At first we tried to find an exact replacement, but that proved impossible as that model hasn't been manufactured for years now. Based on the description, pictures, and reviews here, we ordered this Fat-Boy as well as the Teton Bookbag Backpack.

Be aware that apart from a few minor design differences (colors, zippers, stitching, etc.), these two bags are virtually identical, obviously made in the same factory in China. After examining both, we went with the Fat-Boy, chiefly because of color and what we interpreted as slightly heavier duty hardware. Honestly, I think that we would also have been quite happy with the Teton.

I am pleased to report that my wife is extremely satisfied with the Fat-Boy. She is a grad student and uses it to haul around books, notebooks, lunches, and the miscellaneous small stuff routinely going back and forth from home to school. (The laptop has a dedicated carrying bag.) The Fat-Boy is heavy-duty and well designed with lots of functional compartments and features, including the dedicated cell phone pouch on the front of a shoulder strap, which she loves. In short, this backpack is so good that it is easily eclipsing the memory of her old one. Highly recommended.

I purchased this backpack for my son after looking for a backpack in retail stores in the area and being shocked at what they were asking! My son is 9, and can be a little rough on backpacks. I also like for them to be tough enough to last more than one year! Sothis one looks goodit isn't cheap plastic/vinyl material, has plenty of pockets, and looks well built. Great color selections, he was able to chose one he really likes, now we just have to see if it can withstand months of torture! Ohand this backpack was $25.97 when I purchased it, and the tag on it says: "suggested retail: $60". It's good quality.

OKso here we are about 2 years later. My son has used and abused the heck out of this backpack. School, camping, car trips, etc, etc, etc... And he finally managed to do something to ithe tore one of the side straps that control how far it expands openwhich actually doesn't affect the bag too much. So he can still use it, there are no holes in the bag itself, zippers all still work perfectly. So this was an awesome bargain. If you aren't sure, BUY IT! It is sooo worth the money! I will be buying another one to replace this one! Very satisfied!

iSafe Guardian Backpack

This bag is great! It's high quality, and the alarm is LOUD!!! Do not use alarm in the house. This might seem obvious to some, but we tested it in our house just because I didn't want to freak out the neighbors and it was very painful to the ears. My 9 year old is walking home from school for the first time this year, and this is just a little extra security. Of course, it's no substitute for "stranger danger" talks, but even double the price would be well worth it for this bag. We've had no instances of the bag accidentally going off and have not yet had to replace batteries. Just for an idea ... I told my son not to tell anyone what his bag does to avoid any curious kids wanting to pull the alarm. When kids asked what the speakers on the bag are for, he told them it's to connect his ipod. He doesn't actually have an ipod, but that took care of the curiosity. ;)

Kalencom Heavenly Dots Week-Ender Bag

This is a cute bag, but I must have measured wrong, because when it came I thought it looked absolutely enormousI could definitely fit my 1 yo and a week's worth of stuff in it! The mannequin holding it in the photo must be a giant. Also, the photos online are deceiving in terms of the bag's structureit is not at all stiff and does not stand up on it's own. Bummer because that's the whole reason I bought it, since my other always fell over. Unfortunately I think I'll end up putting this one in the closet until I have a big trip to go on when I can fill it up. Just too big for daily use.

Since I'm expecting my 2nd and I already pack my current diaper bag to the max, I was looking for a big, cute diaper bag. This is perfect! It's great quality and I love how the bottom has little feet and leather. It's plenty big for my needs, and I feel happy packing for a long day with 2 kids and my stuff. One note, though: it has attached stroller straps! Amazon recommends that you buy stroller straps, but don't! Wish I would've known that before.

This is exactly what I have been looking for in a diaper bag. Being that a diaper bag is very essential baby gear, I didn't mind investing in one that is good quality and fits the bill to a T.

First I used the diaper bag for a trip that included flying. I was so glad to have a bag that I could fit everything my daughter needed in it for a few days, just in case our luggage got lost. I also appreciated that I could keep the bag very organized using the 5 interior pockets, the matching accessory bag that came with the diaper bag, and one other little cosmetics bag. I was able to fit 12 disposable diapers, wipes, 3 board books, 3 changes of clothes, 4 small toys, a large bag of snacks, the changing pad, a small first aide kit, the full accessory bag and half full cosmetic bag, and my wallet in this bag. It was very full, but not overstuffed.

I usually use cloth diapers and this bag has been great for that extra space that cloth diapers take up. I have a smaller bag that I have always loved, but things were always packed so tightly in there that I had to unpack everything to find what I was looking for. For me this bag is a great size, maybe even for daily use. We are planning to have another child in the near future and will most likely have two in diapers, having a bag with extra space will be very necessary. While some might think the size of this bag is obnoxious, I have found it to be just right to make sure I am always prepared with everything I need.

i ordered this bag and just couldn't wait till it comes in the mail. so i got it and got disappointed :( the bag is huge!! its bigger than me! i wanted a cute purse/diaper bag, and this was just to big! i would pack it and it would get so heavy that my shoulder was hurting after carrying it for a while at a store. wish it was couple inches smaller. also the straps are rough, they don't fall down after you put the bad on the floor. they stay in your way when ur trying to get something out of the bag really quickly. i would not recommend this bag. this is last time i order something like that online. Voodoo Tactical Enhanced Medium MOLLE Assault Pack

So I basically sh** myself when I got this. It just looks like it could kick your ass. There is one large pocket that is pretty expandable and 2 smaller pockets as well. I am currently using this as my "bug out bag" for any kind of natural or man-made disasters, but am planning on taking it on a 2-3 week mountain survival trip. Basically, i'll be going into the mountains of West Virginia and this will be storing all my gear.

So far, I have worn this while riding a bike across town and have tested walking around my apartment building at 2 a.m. with it on. The main shoulder straps are pretty thick with clips to hold everything together, so i'll definitely be getting some new replacement parts on here in case something on the pack breaks while im in the bush..... heh, allllllriiigggghhttt (Quagmire). Anyway, when I got this I immediately wanted to see how much sh** I could stuff into this and it can hold a decent amount. I was able to stick some screwdrivers and pliers and a small crobar in the webbing thats on the side of it. When full, the zippers can be a little difficult to deal with but thats because they are pretty heavy duty. I have several things strapped to the outside webbing so far and that seems to be holding well.

There are 2 FAT waist pads to help alleviate some of the pressure on your back as well as a smaller chest strap. 3 small holes on the bottom of the pack allow for water drainage. All in all, this (so far) is a great pack. Strong, lightweight, durable, and stylish too. I will post an update in a couple months to update how its holding out.

UPDATE:

I just got back from a 2 week mountain survival trip with some buddies. The packs that they brought out were small and not reliable. My friends pack's buckle snapped on him and he had to repair it. THANKFULLY, I had a small sewing kit in my pack ready to go. Anyway, this pack constantly held about 35 to 40 lbs of survival gear and clothing and I never had any problems with it. I had purchased several different replacement parts for this pack about a week after I received it due to another review that stated he was going to get some parts as well. I got 3 extra large clips for the front hip strap, and some smaller ones for the upper straps. I also got some extra webbing for the outside of it as well.

All in all, the experience I have had with this pack is great. I was not expecting it to be the most amazing one in the world and didn't let my expectations get too high for it. GO FOR THIS!!!!!

I wanted a rugged "bugout bag" that was not huge so I was able to carry other items, either connected to this bag or separately without having an unwieldy bag. This bag is perfect for my needs. Not only is the bag very well built but it is a perfect size to hold just about everything I plan to carry. It has so many Molle connections that I am able to connect my Med kit and countless other things all over the bag. Fits my needs perfectly. I would say this bag is larger than a school backpack but not so large that it stands out like a sore thumb, if you know what I mean.

I bought this bag and it came to me messed up. The bag itself is VERY sturdy and well made but the straps were absolutely falling apart. It was like they didn't come from the same factory as the rest of the bag (including the waist strap). The stitching was ripping out but worse than that, the quick-release buckle would pop open under any kind of load, rendering the bag useless. It was difficult to get ahold of any one in customer service, but once I did I spoke with a very nice lady who blew a metric ton of sunshine up my posterior. To be clear: i wanted to BUY a replacement set of shoulder straps. They OFFERED to send me a new set. They had me sent them pictures of the bag to make sure the model and colors matched: the whole nine yards. This was before thanksgiving of 2011. They didn't have any in stock, but were getting a shipment in any day now and would sent them out. Then it was december. Then after New Year. "Oh yes sir, your file is still on my desk. We'll get those straps out to you as soon as they come in". As of today, no straps. I have given up. I would have much rather preferred a "no sir, there is nothing that we can do". I would recommend that you NOT buy any Voodoo product that you don't plan on throwing away when it's used up. There appear to be no such thing as replacement or spare parts.

Kiva Luggage Packing Genius Stowaway Messenger Bag

I recently flew from Utah to Miami for an Eastern Caribbean Cruise. I used this bag as my "personal item" in addition to my carry-on for the flight. It fits perfectly under the seat in the plane. I packed a small laptop (Dell E4200), my Kindle Fire, my Canon 60D camera (BIG camera), a blanket, and all my cash, passport, snacks, water bottle, etc. in the bag. Needless to say it was totally full and really heavy with all this stuff in it. But the strap was really strong and none of the seams gave out on me. I love that the strap has a quick adjust clasp on it. I could quickly shorten it (so it was easy to manage while balancing on top of my rolling luggage), and then lengthen it when I wanted to throw it over my shoulder. I also emptied it and used it at each of the cruise ports while shopping for all my souvenirs. Highly recommended!

I like this bag, I really do. It is huge. I can fit a ton of stuff in it which is great for me. I like the organizer section in the front pockets you can tether a wallet or keys and put your phone in there. It is great on trips and very lightweight. It is reasonably priced. I have never been asked to check it (but I can't say for sure you won't be). It has passed for the world's largest purse or something. There are a couple of issues though, which makes it a four star product. 1. The pull section with the toggle and grey string: It's sort of a pain hanging off the side and not really cute so I wrapped the string around itself in a circular "wreath" patten and it stopped bothering me. 2. The strap: First off it's very long and tends to hang down. I stuff it in the pocket, but it comes out. I am short though and maybe I can use a ponytail band to fasten it. Also, more importantly, the strap tends to give way when the bag is heavy. there is nothing to stop the strap from coming completely undone. I think I can fix this with an S-ciip,or maybe a couple key rings. 3. The coating: Admittedly, I beat on my bags on trips. I have food, sweaters, water, books etc. in the bag. After my last ski trip, which was my third trip using the bag, I noticed the plastic coating is coming off in spots. Looks like it's peeling. I had already had the bag replace once due to some minor stitching problems (the customer service was awesome) and I feel guilty about calling again, so I will use the bag until I can't take it anymore. Despite any issues, due to the price, size, and organizer in the front pocket, I would probably replace it with the same bag.

On other places the fabric showed snags and marks in a few days. In addition the pull cord became frayed in multiple places. I am returning it.

I like this bag, it makes it easy to carry around whatever I need. It's a pretty good size. The drawstring around the zipper on the top makes it look a tad ridiculous though, I would've liked it better if it had just been a zipper with a thin flap to protect from spills, like a backpack.

It would be nice to have internal padded pocket for 7 inch tablet, but overall great material quality. I compared several black totes before buying the Tumi Voyageur Quintessential tote in black to use as an every day purse and occasional weekender. After a few weeks of everyday use and after stuffing it for a weekend trip, I am very satisfied with how sturdy and roomy it is. For those of you who are post-college age who want a quality tote/purse, skip the Longchamps tote fad and invest the extra money into this Tumi. It is bigger than the Longchamps medium tote, has a better quality nylon material, has more organization like cell phone sleeves, has internal and external pockets (handy for a water bottle), and is sophisticated with black patton detailing and a mirror tag. It comes with a 5-year warranty, so I have the piece of mind that if it doesn't wear well or a strap breaks, I can get a replacement. The straps are thin and flat, which I prefer instead of rolled ones. I had also compared it to a Baggallini black tote/purse, and while that purse has a lot of organizational pockets, it is heavier when empty and not nearly as roomy or sophisticated. I was looking for a purse made of durable and lightweight nylon material, and this Tumi is it. Treat yourself!

This is a wondelfull bag. Light and spacious. It has moré than met my expectations. Great size, everything fits in it.

I'm now on my second Tumi Luggage Voyaguer Tote. Three years ago I searched all over Manhattan for the perfect bag and finally found it on a business trip to Philadelphia. Light-weight, almost indestructible, goes with everything, goes everywhere. I love it.

It easily holds a laptop. Has a zippered pocket inside for valuables. And dedicated pockets for a smart phone and a pen. Closes with a zipper. In other words, you can put it through airport security without fear of things falling out. Has an outside pocket for a newspaper or umbrella.

My only minor criticism is that I'd like to see them come out with better colors. So far, I'm sticking to black.

For a very expensive tote, needs some work. The pockets, both inside and outside, are not deep enough, things fall out constantly. Needs second, interior zip, I feel, to be more functional. Material is great, wipes clean, and color is fun.

The sleeve fits very snug on oddly shaped laptops, i.e. non-Apple laptops. This wouldn't be a problem if the zipper wasn't so poor. The zipper frequently separates from the zipper teeth, and is *very* difficult to get where it is zipping correctly.

My advice is to pay the extra $5-$10 for a sleeve that doesn't annoyingly pop open because of a poor quality zipper.

I been shopping around for a 15" neoprene notebook sleeve and could not find anything than the standard black color, that is before I came across this on Amazon. I opted for 15" blue for my Dell XPS M140 and I was pleased with the contruction, quality, and of course, the exciting racing blue color. It fits snugly and ultra compact, which is a great alternative to a bulky notebook carrying bag.

It it really lightweight and the zippers do not stick at all. It doesn't have any handles, and it doesn't fit the plug or the cord, but it is really thin so I put it in my L.L. Bean Tote where it fits nicely. The shipping was very fast. I am a college student, and this case is a must-have for any student with a notebook pc.

I bought two of these bags, not for a "Cooler bag" as stated, but for camera covers while on the tripod and during hiking. They are well made and work great for keeping dust off the cameras while not in use.

I've been using one of these bags since the purchase and noticed a tear in the inner liner yesterday. The bag is treated with kid gloves, the camera has no sharp edges and there should be no reason for a tear, especially if the inner material was made to withstand use. The bag has never been taken, to date, on a photo trip, it just covers and protects the camera from dust. I have second decisions about the quality of this product.
