I had been carrying my iPad in a 15" laptop messenger bag along with some other items and this was of course rather bulky to carry around.
This bag is absolutely perfect for carrying my new iPad 2 with smart cover attached or really any tablet or perhaps a netbook. The inner lining where I slide in my iPad is a very soft material and perfect for protection when being carried about. It fits perfectly in portrait position. Along with that the 2nd inner pocket fit a portable umbrella, aluminum water bottle, and hard shell case for glasses quite well. Every effort has been made in this case to provide as many pockets sleeves as possible and while many of these sleeves are for non bulky items it is nice to see all the space well used.
The main carrying strap is suitable and there is an adjustable strap that can be used for hand carry.
The way the cover fits over the inner contents is nice since it well protects it in case of increment weather.
I'm very happy with this non-bulky bag to transport items back and forth from work and to other locations and as an iPad bag it is excellent. Quite a step up from a laptop bag.
I am using the Case Logic NOXM-111 Aquila with my 10.1" netbook, which fits in vertically rather than the standard horizontal way of other bags. There are two main compartments under the flap, separated by a padded partition; one for your tablet/netbook, the other with mesh pockets for extra gear. There are several key features that I like, and a couple that I don't.
LIKE:
+ Lots of additional pockets and pouches, zippered and meshed, although the majority of these are for small items. There is a nice, soft felt-lined pocket on the front of the bag which makes good protection for a smartphone screen.
+ Amply padded interior. My gear feels safe in this.
+ Interior aqua-colored liner is a good contrast to my stuff, so finding things is easy, even at the bottom.
+ Shoulder strap is long enough to be adjusted for across body use, if desired.
+ Chair leg security strap. Why didn't someone think of this before! You can also use this to secure it to your wheeled luggage handle when traveling.
+ Attractive, slim design.
+ Distinctive 'fold over' main flap design; when closed, it extends down the outside of the bag, thoroughly protecting the stuff inside.
DISLIKE:
Shoulder strap is seatbelt-like material. For this price point, I feel it should have included a padded shoulder rest.
Small press-clip closure on the main flap is hard to find and clip, especially when you have stuff in the bag and the outside wall is out of shape. A magnetic clasp would have served better.

I really like the vertical design of this shoulder bag for my netbook, although it's not as large as you might think. I found that once I put in my netbook, its small powerbrick, and a travel mouse, the main compartment areas are pretty much full. However, there are lots of other zippered pockets and pouches for smaller items I might want to carry, like flash drives, cellphone, pens, etc. The external, expandable pouch on the top flap is a nice addition for bulkier/odd shaped items and easy access. Overall, I would say the Case Logic NOXM-111 Aquila is aimed more toward the tablet user than the netbook/small notebook user, simply because the slimmer design of a tablet would grant more room inside the bag's two main compartments.

This case is fantastic. It is perfect for my needs. My laptop fits right into the slot and is well protected. The size is great, and it is surprising as to how much will actually fit into the case, even when it is holding the laptop. That is a huge plus in a carrying case for me.
What I really love about this case is how it looks. Very professional but not stuffy, if you only use it for personal use. The dark color helps to hide spots and smudges, which happen to anything over time. I think Case Logic did a great job with this carrying case. Bravo!

Wasn't obvious from the specifications, so I was a little apprehensive purchasing this case as I wasn't certain it was big enough to fit a Samsung Chromebook... but it does. Well made, lots of pockets, well laid out. Didn't like the shoulder strap so I swapped it out for one (from a gym bag of mine) that has a pad in the middle where it hangs on your shoulder. Would be five stars if it came with a similar shoulder strap. (this is really a 4.5 star review but that's not an option.)

This Case Logic NOXM-111 Aquila 11-inch Shoulder Bag is a very stylish bag. It is also very compact and light, which surprises me because this bag is also very well padded. . This bag fits most netbooks, IPad, Kindle, 11 inch notebooks, also some 13 widescreen notebooks (my 13 inch HP laptop fits nicely). This bag has a lot of compartments eventhough those aren't big compartments (it won't fit many extra things especially if you use it for 11 or 13 inch laptop) It also comes with a strap at the back where you can strap this bag to the handle of a carry on luggage so you can just pull your luggage and have this bag set on top of the luggage. All in all a very nice bag and perfect for travel.

I like using this bags when i dont need to bring my clothes and a ton of toiletries with me. It durable. Has outlasted three others that i had owned prior to, seems the zippers have a tendency to break on these bags. So far so good for this one.
