Boxy Backpack Diaper Bag - Misted In Marseille

I have this bag in a different print. The waterproof exterior sounds like a genius idea. What I have come to learn however is that it actually keeps the inside from drying out. And as soon as your little one grows up enough to always need a sippy cup, beware! We've had a few leaks from sippy cups and of course we keep snacks in the bag. I clean out the food but I just recently found a giant black mold patch where the inside never dried out! eek! I'm afraid I'm going to have to throw the bag away! I think the design & style of these bags is amazing and I loved having it, but now that my baby is a year & a half & I have another on the way, I'm learning how impractical it really is. The bag is also heavy and bulky all on it's own without all of your gear inside. I'll be happy to get a much more lightweight bag. It also doesn't have any "give" to the bag to expand to hold more if you need it to. I wont be purchasing another unfortunately. They are beautiful though!

These bags are really beautiful and I was so excited to get one with my first baby girl. It is definitely stylish, but completely not practicalvery narrow and deep and hard to store much or find things easily. I wouldn't buy one again or recommend to a friend.

I bought this after I had my second when I realized my shoulder diaper bag was too tricky to carry with a two and a half year old and an infant. I love wearing it as a backpack and it fits exactly what I need (two sets of diapers, wipes, wallet, sippy cup, bottle, blanket, etc). There are a ton of compartments to fit everything! I can see why people don't think you can fit enough stuff in it (it does become heavy), but it fits what I need. I would recommend getting the stroller clips so you can attach it to your stroller which I love! The only thing I don't love about it is in the inside fabric and that I've heard it can stain. I just don't put any liquids inside, which is fine since there are two pockets on the outside that can fit bottles and some sippy cups.

I ordered the backpack for using it as a school bag. It is not too big, and not too small. I don't put my 3 inch binder in, there is not enough space for it when all the other stuff is in there, but that's no problem.

The color is not the same as the one on the picture. I really like the color of my backpack but it is a bit different. More blue.

I can't say it yet but I think that I have to be very careful with the laces (I hope this is the right word, I am from Austria, I speak German.) because they aren't real leather and I think they'll look ugly soon.

I love the color don't get me wrong, but the leather type parts like the straps to close the top etc... Are not as dark as the picture portrayed. This is a good back pack for my petite 5-year-old. It's big on her, but fits her folders/binders (and every other Kindergartener has a big back pack). Her previous toddler size back pack was too small for binders. The image is great and looks like it will last. However, the handle on top pulled away from the stitching on the first day of school.

My daughter was happy to receive this bag as her school bag but within two months the bag fell apart. At first the zipper on the face of the bag gave way and so, she couldn't use that to hold her snack packs. We couldn't fix it either because the zipper was fastened into the inner area of the bag. Today, the top zipper gave way and now, it is ready for the dumps!

In all, the bag lasted only 2 months of her using it for school. It is a pretty piece but the zippers need fixing. The bag is well assembled of course but something is grossly wrong with the zippers is it because it is machine made? I have no idea but I am done buying the Disney bags. I told her she has to have something American made to last for her current school year. No more Chinese made school bags...

Toshiba PA1447U-1CS8 17-Inch/18-Inch Carry Case

This is my second laptop order for this laptop bag. I bought one for my son, and then nephew. My son has a Asuz G73 gaming laptop. Its pretty large! It is 17 inches wide (not sceen size,the screen is larger) by 13 inches tall and about 2 inches thick. You will not find a bag elsewhere to fit it. So, my advice to you is, dont take chances on smaller bags, get this bag if you have a 17+ inch wide laptop. It has a velcro divider inside. This is adjustable to snug up the laptop on one side and some magazines and paperwork on the other half. Also there are two sewn in pouches on the inside. They are always open. Good for carring DVDs or other media, and peripherals. The interior padding is adequate for bumps and banging around. The outside front of the bag has a large velcro sealing, divided double pouch, and is good for carrying a power supply, corded mouse, mousepad, etc. I also use this front pouch to tuck the shoulder strap into when not using it. The back of the bag has a similar pouch but zippered. It comes with a decent shoulder strap and has a pretty nice rubberized handle that locks together. The outer material is made of a tightly woven nylon. It has two rubberized pads on the bottom that it sits down on when on the floor. The bag looks very nice and doesnt look cheap or lame to carry. I like this bag alot, and I dont think you will find anything else out there this nice for the money. Its a good deal! You wont be dissappointed.

This is a very good looking bag. It is well-padded. The only issue is the handle for holding. It is just heavy plastic. It could have been padded for more comfort to carry a ten pound laptop. BUt if you are going to wear it over your shoulders, you won't have any problems. Overall it is what you'd expect.

Nicely padded case for my laptop with divided sections and 3 inside pockets, several outside zippered pockets. You can adjust the inside padding to hold your laptop securely so it doesn't move. Actually holds quite a bit of extras like file folders and books -so it can get quite heavy but the shoulder strap is secure. The 2 handle straps have a rubber snap together handle that makes it comfortable to carry. You do need to be careful about where you put stuff -one of the pockets is really a sleeve to attach your case to a suitcase handle -I know, duh. I marked mine so I wouldn't forget and accidentally cram a plane ticket down it as I'm running for the plane. Again.

All in all, after comparing it to what's commonly found in the stores, I'm quite happy with it.

I've had this bag for two years now, bought it for my Qosmio X505-Q860, and(believe it or not) have carried it to college with me, in this bag, every day since I got it. It's durable, it's got plenty of padding, and has extra room for accessories, documents and some school/office supplies. It was also the only bag I could find at the time that was big enough for the Qosmio line, but it's definitely been worth its weight in computing.

Word of advice though: don't buy an 18-inch laptop for school. Just don't. Put it on a desk and just leave it there. Buy this bag if you need to move it somewhere, but otherwise, just leave it alone. Your back will thank you.

Kelty Warbler Lumbar Pack

I call this my Tactical Utility Hip Pouch (TUHP) and it works great for when I'm traveling for work (network field technician). I can keep a few extra things on me without having to haul around a purse or toolbag. Two pouches, with a small one in front of the bigger pouch.

The one problem I've had with this, is the adjustment strap slips out if I'm doing a lot of climbing or walking. But other then that, it is a very handy product.

I did quite a bit of research to find the perfect lumbar pack to use when cycling, and ended up choosing the Warbler. I use it to carry my iPhone, IDs, snacks, etc when I go riding. My saddle bag is too small to fit everything, and not as handy as a lumbar pack.

Pros:

Looks very nice (simple and stylish) I got the Charcoal and love the color too.

Has the perfect size for those who don't want to carry too much stuff, and the design is such that it stays close to your body rather than bulging out. (e.g. it's not noticeable under a loose sweater)

The front side is padded, making the outer pocket a good place for storing phones, etc. However, the inner side (touching your body) is not padded, which isn't a problem for me. So I think this was a good design decision.

Has bands for holding the extra strap out of the way

Cons:

The bigger compartment's zipper has a metal piece on the little loop, which adds a nice touch. However, the one on mine was a dark matte red instead of a grayish one that's shown in the picture. Doesn't look too bad, so I kept it instead of trying my luck with another. Plus, worst case, you can just take out the metal piece.

Summary:

I strongly recommend this. It's not the biggest pack, which is actually a plus for me. It is well-made and looks very nice.

This is the pack I have been looking for. It holds all of my things and it is not too bulky. Good construction and looks like it will last. I use it when I braid horses. The front compartment holds my phone and the larger one holds all of my tools...comb, brush, etc. I love it!!

What can we say, this is just a big boxed shaped nylon bag with shoulder straps. They look slick, perfect for corporate setting, but when it comes to "real" corporate traveling, they s**k big time. Because they are made in such a way, there's no water bottle pockets or nylon mesh pockets to keep little things I'd need to grab quick. Everything must be in enclosed zipped compartments. Don't get me wrong, I think the bag is well designed for the purpose of being slick corporate environment, but anything outside this isn't flexible design at all.

Quality is okay, I've noticed one in a while lose sewing or unleveled cut of pieces here and there recently, which is sad to see. Not worth $ spent for sure.

Timbuk2 Aviator Laptop Travel Pack

I purchased this travel pack because (1) I am a fan of Timbuk2 (my everyday bag being the H.A.L.) and (2) I always travel with a carry on when flying. In terms of quality, the pack is typical of Timbuk2's excellent quality although a couple of pull-tags were curiously absent for the the top and front zippered pockets. The internal organization is minimal but typical for travel packs: no organizer pockets or key lanyard present anywhere. It is flatter than my other travel pack (eBags eTech Weekender) by a couple of inches which will decreases capacity making this pack good for 3-4 day trips at most (while I am able to pack 6-7 days worth in the Weekender). Being smaller however will make moving through crowds (like down plane aisles) and finding overhead space easier. The straps are thinner than I expected given the size of the pack but remain comfortable regardless.

My daughter wanted a sling backpack for this next school year. We agreed on this one b/c of the size. We picked the purple one, it is really pretty. The pic doesn't do it justice. It fits her really well, she is 9yrs old and really tall. The straps are padded and go comfortably around her (even me). There is an additional handle on the side that you can tug it around with if need be. It expands nicely. Her folders and binder fit perfectly. The only drawback is we'll have to downgrade to a smaller lunch bag. She had a big puffy one that doesn't fit in as good. The smaller chamber in front is nice and roomy for misc stuff. I do miss all the little hidden pockets for this/that like a traditional backpack but for the money, this is a nice one. Another feature she likes is that when she's wearing it, she can unclip. There's a release clip in the middle of the handle that goes around her. Suppose that will come in handy to take off easier when it's heavy vs flinging it over your head to take off. Also the side pockets do a nice job of holding a traditional sized bottle of water.

Wish it came in darker colors. Daughter is in 3rd grade and loves it. A few of her notebooks and library books have proven to be a little big when trying to zip it closed but with patience and proper arrangement, the zipper can be closed even when full.

This backpack is really pretty, but it's useless. The zippered Mead binder we purchased wouldn't fit at all. Then we bought a plain poly binder. When zipped that one into the bag, it just barely fit. When I say it barely, I MEAN barely. The corner of the binder pressed sharply against the bag. It looked like it would wear through the canvas before the end of the school year. When she added a couple of books, the bag would no longer zip closed. She went back to last year's backpack. I guess this one will be a nice overnight bag.

I bought this fanny pack as a Christmas gift for a friend of mine who is pretty small. He used to be a Horse Jockey and I was affraid to buy him a pack online, because I didnt know if they would be monsterous on his 5'2 frame. This pack is perfect. Not only is it small but the leather is really soft and the interior looks sturdy. I imagine he will store his phone, wallet, keys, and a pair of glasses in it. I didnt look at the waist band so it may be too big for him, but I'll just sew it smaller if needed, not a big deal for such a great price.

I've had this bag for 6 months and still LOVE it! In a pinch I can put my HP Elitebook 2740P, paper notebooks and an iPad in the large pocket and all my cables & chargers (iPhone, MiFi hotspot, LiveScribe pen, Jawbone bluetooth, iPad etc) in the smaller pocket. Not enough room for the bulky PC power adapter, however, unless I reduce my load to that PC and its power adapter as the primary contents. Bottom line, I can be professional, handsfree and look good at the same time! Of course, the reason I bought it in the first place was to distribute the weight across my back to reduce trips to the chiropractor. The Nightmare Before Christmas Messenger Bag

I bought this for my niece who is also a big fan of "The Nightmare Before Christmas". From the construcion of the bag it is just like your average backpack but the cool thing that i loved about the bag is the fact that jack's head is a coin purse. Its pretty sturdy from the look of it and for her college days it can hold quite a few books. Her use wil be for her notebooks and laptop. So i think it is a great buy for those who have light wear and tear.

My mother and I both love Nightmare before Christmas. So we were thrilled to find these bags on here. There is plenty of space in the bag itself, and the outside pockets on either side of the bag can fit a can of Dr.Pepper. The front outide pocket (Jack's head) is really useful for jewlery or small change. I also like that it has an adjustable strap. We use our bag every day and get complements on them all the time. Buy it as a gift or for yourself. :)

I was really impressed with this bag when it showed up. I gave it 5 stars because now that I have it, I wouldn't want any other bag!

The canvas that it's made out of is super thick and durable. All the seams seem to be stitched rather well. There are a ton of pockets on this thing too. There is a zipper pocket on top of the flap (and the pocket is as big as the flap), you open the flap and you have two large pockets on the front with flaps that snap, those two pockets are attached to a large pocket which is attached to the main compartment, and then another large pocket on the back of the bag. Bonus is that it even came with it's own ruler!

I bought the bag to keep my knitting projects & supplies handy, but I could easily use this for my laptop, or school (if I was in school), or even an overnight bag. I'd buy another if I needed one!

My husband owned the original Danish school bag, and after 40 something years of use, it finally wore out. We were unable to find the original bag to repurchase; however, Rothco makes a line of canvas bags in similar style to the one my husband owned.

We purchased this Rothco bag in black, model # 8118. A single buckle over each front pocket holds a velcro strip in place, which secures the bag closed. It is not the same canvas weight nor craftsmanship as the original Danish bag, but is a good value for the purchase price. It is a nice looking bag and has all the amenities of the Danish bag (shoulder strap, top handle, zip around expandable sides and bottom, loads of inside pockets, top zipper pocket and a ruler inside an interior slip pocket a dual purpose item which is also used to keep the top flat and in shape. The only fault found was that the shoulder strap could be a bit longer.

If you're looking for an all purpose canvas messenger bag to use in lieu of a briefcase, I (we) would recommend this bag by Rothco.

Timbuk2 Parcel Women's Tote Bag

For once in my life, my commute does not involve a laptop. This is the perfect sized commuting bag. The straps fit easily over your shoulder, or you can use the cross body strap. The color is fun, and the material is seriously durable. I've gotten many compliments on the bag over the six months or so that I have owned it. I love the water bottle holder on the inside as well. This is large enough to carry a lunch bag, ipad and some books with some room to spare. My only complaint would be there is only one front pocket-I'd prefer to have a separate one for the phone and one for the keys easy access.

I absolutely love this bag! I ordered it to use it for work, I have to carry around a lot of paperwork, files and forms. This holds everything and then some. I love being able to have a specific place for my drink inside the bag, plus there are plenty of pockets inside to hold everything. It's sturdy and is holding up wonderfully. Plus I love the shoulder strap and the handles too. I have gotten a lot of compliments on this bag!!
