Naruto: Gaara Special Bag

I bought this for my step-daughter who is an anime, manga and all around Naruto fan. She fawned over this when she saw it in the store at Christmas and I found this on Amazon for her as a "first week of junir high" present. the item was oddly shaped and not a good match to the picture. I presume that the backpack was stuffed to cosmetically make it appealing for the picture.

I found the construction is *solid* and the shape is fun. It is just a practical representation of Gaara's cartoon gourd and is a great personal bag for kids to throw their everyday items into (like books & art supplies) or as an overnight bag. The bag was not cheaply made and the materials are good so it can tolerate the abuse a teenager can dish out. The only drawback I found is that it is not a good schoolbag replacement. The narrowing of the gourd make it hard to put large books into it and maintain a pleasing shape.

I bought this for my wife as we are both Naruto nerds and one of her favorite characters is Gaara. I was hoping this would be more of a backpack, but it's really more like a duffel bag. It's very sturdy and has held what we put in it well, but the two openings are too small to fit anything bigger than a textbook in. We couldn't fit our laptop in it, but we fit a diaper bag within it easily. It's got a ton of room inside, but with the openings being too small for textbooks... well, it didn't make much sense so I had to knock off at least a point from it.

It's a good, solid bag, but there's no compartments or anything like that so don't put too much into it or you may never find it again, lol.

From some other reviews I began to think that this wasn't what I was looking for. But when it arrived it was exactly the same as in the picture. Other reviews had said that it was more of a backpack, but, if opened correctly, it does look like Gaara's gourd. A bit smaller, but Gaara's gourd nonetheless. As long as you get it from ABCTOY4ME (that's where I got mine), it should be the same as the picture.

It`s a great replica and everything. It works for what I wanted to. But the only thing I didn`t like was the description of the bag said there were pockets on the inside. I searched for about 10 minutes and couldn`t find any pockets on the in side.

This bag is AWESOME. I love it, it's plenty big in size and works perfectly as an overnight bag or just taking a bunch of stuff with me anywhere, school too. There aren't any pockets on the inside and the zipper that opens up doesn't open up too big but you don't really need to take anything that big with you anyway. The top opening is smaller than the zipper, but it's just like the opening in the top. It's a very durable bag and looks very similar to Gaara's bag. If you can afford the bag, really want it too, then I say you should get it. You won't regret it.

This bag is great overall. It has plenty of space, and the pockets actually make sense, and are useable. I loved the cooler pocket. It fit one small ice pack and two small bottles. However, after less than 3 weeks of use, the metal part that holds the diaper bag open began to poke through the material. It didn't happen to me, but could have easily snagged clothing or skin.

I only had this bag for three months when a piece of very sharp metal started to poke out, and sliced my hand open. I emailed Fisher Price customer support, and the online form said I'd receive a reply in 2 days. It was a long weekend so I gave them 5, but no reply. Then I tried using their online chat, but it didn't work in 2 browsers. Finally, I called, and spoke with a nice couple of people, who referred me to A.D. Sutton, the maker of the bag, apparently. i was disappointed I couldn't get help right from F-P, I bought a brand I trust so this wouldn't happen. Calling A D Sutton was useless, I was put into voice mail and no one picked up. So now I have a cut hand, a broken bag, and no one wants to help me. Not what I expected from a company like Fisher Price.

I love the size of this bag :) The is room for everything in this bag, and the cooling part for the bottles is very nice and keeps the bottles cold.

The only problem that I have had was with the container that the wipes go in, the wipes dry out. If you can find a container that is portable that keeps them wet it is an amazing design.

This bag is a great bag, it is so roomy and it is made really well. all of the pockets inside and there is even room for one of those purse organizers if you want to be extra organized. I've used this diaper bag every day for 8 months now and it has held up great. We've STUFFED it for traveling and all the seams and zippers still work perfectly. Kiva Key Chain Tote

I really like this bag and I own four of them. This is a collapsible bag that folds down into a pocket about half the size of a fist. My wife and I keep them in our cars in case we buy something and want to use reusable bags. As a result, we almost never use disposable plastic bags anymore. For normal grocery shopping we use canvas bags but for quick shopping trips they are great!

The material is very thin but very strong. It has to be thin to fold-up very small. After years of use I have not teared or punctured a bag. I imagine this is possible if something sharp and poky were carried in it but most bags would have the same issue. (I haven't yet ripped them after many trips to Home Depot.) The handles are strong. The bag material is still high quality when comparing bags purchased years ago and now.

There is little form to the bag and zero padding since it is so thin. Folding it up is easy. Either stuff or fold it into the pocket and zip. After unfolding the bag it will have a wrinkled appearance like in the product picture.

I use the bags all of the time and plan to buy them for family for an eco-friendly gift. (I just wish Amazon carried them in black.)

I took this bag with me on a recent trip to Italy. I used it every day and found it really indispensable, so much so that I bought another when I came home. In Italy the grocery stores charge for nags, or give you a discount for bringing your own...so the bag paid for itself on my first trip!

It is small and the fabric is thin, as others have noted; but you would be surprised at how strong it is, and how much it holds.

When the bag is stowed in its' pocket it's around 1 1/2 x 3 inches, and weighs practically nothing. It is ideal for travel, when you find yourself carrying all kinds of things, and space and weight mean a lot more.

I know I will want to have one with me whenever I travel, or go to a farmers' market, or flea market...I can think of lots of occasions where it would be useful (which is why I want 2).

I actually received *two* bags in my package! I think they've changed the fabric: the tag inside mine says "100% polyester" I don't think that's the same as rip-stop nylon. The bag feels like it's made of heavy plastic. Maybe they have started using cheaper fabric, and doubled how many bags you get?

I agree with the other reviewers about the convenience of this tote. As long as you pay attention when you first unpack it, it's pretty easy to stash back in the bag.

I started with the black one I purchased at Whole Foods in Seattle. Wow! What a wonderfully useful thing! Folded, it clips to my laptop bag, ready to handle any unexpected needs grocery trips, extra stuff to carry home from work, etc.

A couple of years later, I found 2 more on closeout at Bed Bath and Beyond. Snapped them both up. Now I have three which I often chain together and attach to my PC bag or whatever.

I will take no plane trip without them (who knows what Mom will insist I take home?). I won't go grocery shopping without them.

They have been more than useful at work when I have to tote a bunch of stuff from place A to B.

The only tricks (in my humble opinion) are these:

Trust in the force. These are 10x more durable than the thin fabric suggests. You won't believe what you can put in there.

Take a few minutes to practice the fold-up. The trick is to not get the fabric caught in the zipper. The first couple of times feels odd. Once you get the process nailed, it's super easy.

Every so often, I can't find one of my three. Panic ensues. OK, so it's just a bag. But WHAT a BAG!

STM Bags Switch Large

Got this backpack for heading back to school knowing I would be living 'out of my computer' this semester being able to carry so many textbooks and notes on my laptop. So instead of carrying textbooks around, I thought why not get a specialized backpack to just carry my laptop around. This bag has been perfect for just that. Love the dual nature the bag as well, as when I travel I can carry it as a shoulder bag instead. Fits my computer charger, iPad, e-reader and calculator just fine. If you want to carry your laptop and say some notebooks, that is possible as well, but it will start to get a little tight after that.

In terms of comfort I love the padded back and carrying it around all day never seems to bother my back.

All said and done, I would highly recommend this backpack for anyone who just needs to carry around the electronic essentials. It won't carry much beyond that, but that's not what it was designed to do. My laptop feels incredibly secure and safe inside the bag, so I would also recommend it if you are looking for a shoulder bag case for a laptop while carrying a normal backpack on your back.

Pros: This bag is made well. Design and craftsmanship are outstanding. Provides good protection for a laptop. Soft padding on shoulder pads makes carrying this bag very comfortable, almost do not feel the heavy weight of 17' MacBook Pro. The two way design is also desirable; can be used as a shoulder bag or a backpack. Nice compartments, iPad pocket, iPhone pocket etc.

Cons: No any extra space. 17' MacBook Pro fits pretty snuggly and no space left, even for chargers. Pretty bulky and boxy.

Bottom line: If you need a bag to carry ONLY a laptop then it is very good bag. But if you looking for a bag or backpack to carry a lot of stuff besides the computer then it is not going to work.

I've been using this bag for nearly a year and it is amazing. I couldn't ask for a better bag. I carry around a 17" laptop, an iPad, laptop charger, wireless mouse, iPad charger, iPad stylus, and a couple of extra USB cables and they all fit nice and snug inside this bag. The strap is highly adjustable and is very comfortable. I feel that my tech is protected in this bag, but the bag is still small and compact. It doesn't have all kinds of noisy things hanging off of it and it looks great. I love this bag.

I don't use the backpack feature, but I imagine I would if I had to carry this for an extended period of time and I'm sure it is just as comfortable as the strap is.

Wow, it's tiny. But if it's "too tiny" that is entirely my fault because the product demensions are on the item page. I even measured it out before purchasing, but when you see it in person, it's a little smaller than you think. While I can't completely speak of the durability because we just got it, It seems like its durability will be comparable to the 5-8 dollar toddler bacpacks at major department stores. I only bought it because my son loves Toy Story and I couldn't find a small Toy Story backpack anywhere. Turns out, this one may be too small and I paid way too much. The backpack has a detachable case with it, good for pencils and such. The velcro that attaches the case to the backpack seems very strong. I don't think we will have to worry about the case becoming lost due to the velcro not holding. But, the case arrived with some sort of yellow stain/discoloration on it. Not at all happy about that. Overall, I would not make this purchase again.

Pan Am Orion

This is well constructed and the attention to detail on it is impressive. The Pan Am logo is even on the riveted buttons, it has 'feet' on the bottom for protection and it is so well made. I get loads of compliments. Very authentic and retro... a one-of-a-kind bag. And it's quite roomy, as well.

I purchased this bag because my old briefcase was not large enough to accommodate traveling with a large laptop which I do for my job. After searching the options, I decided on this bag.

I recently traveled from the US to Italy and used it as my carry on. I had my 17" laptop, Ipad, chargers and a change of clothes, and still had plenty of room. Several people i was traveling with complimented me on how it looks, which made me feel that it was worth the price. It really looks great.

Before purchasing the Briefcase, I read one review here that stated the bag was not big enough for a 17" Mac book. This is NOT true. I use a 17" HP Envy, and there is plenty of room without removing any sort of insert that the review referenced. Maybe that review was for intended for a different bag.

Shipping was quick like you would expect. I am very satisfied with my purchase

ClaireChase Executive BriefcaseThe zippers on this bag are not well made or well designed. It is possible that they have received a new batch of zippers that are defective. The pull tab attaches with a hook to the slider bow. The hook only attaches to the slider bow on one edge, and it appears to be made of cheap pot metal or something. One of my zippers was broken on arrival. Another broke the first time I used it. The chains are big and tough, and opening and closing the zippers will require considerable force, which the hook on the slider bow is not capable of withstanding. I would not buy this company's products until they fix this zipper designit is very poorly engineered.

Very well made. Has a multitude of storage areas that allow putting different things like a computer, Ipad, files, and just about anything else you can think of in the right place.

One flaw is one zipper will hang-up if the leather is bowed out or the particular storage compartment if too full. Once you remember to zip it the proper way no big deal.

I plan on using this case for many years. Will be great for traveling and using as an extra carry-on when traveling. Like how you can unzip the back of the case and fit it over the handle of my wheeled suitcase.

From looking at the picture it does not appear to be as large as it actually is. I did find it to have plenty of compartments, very roomy interior, ample room for my 17" laptop, and I could even put stuff in it I normally carry in my purse, along with my phone and other items. When you have this bag you really do not need to carry anything else. It is a little heavy with the laptop in the bag but workable if you use the shoulder strap. I really like it, I just wasn't expecting it to be quite this BIG. I would not recommend carrying it every day but if you have to go out of town on business it more than serves the purpose.

Condor Medium Assault Pack (OliveDrab)

Pros:This pack is very well made and solid construction. Lots of storage including hydration pack hanger. tons of molle attachments.

Cons: the shoulder straps are not adjustable on the top and are very short, i am 6'0" 225 lbs and the pack does not hang well. would work for a smaller framed person but if you are large framed look for a pack with adjustable shoulder straps.

Overall this is a great deal, would compare to packs like 5.11 and others

I've set this bag up as my primary home bug out bag and love to take it on hikes with me when I get out on tough day hikes. The construction is tough and it's just the right size.

I had two woodland camo MOLLE Gen 1 bags, but did not prefer them because the plastic brace sheet was easily deformed. Also, there was a single row of MOLLE loops above the external pocket, which was placed inconveniently.

This bag by Condor swooped in from the heavens and saved me from the one-off inadequacy of what I had been using. The bag is covered in MOLLE attachments, has pockets with a rubberized interior, the removable kidney strap has a dozen sets of MOLLE loops, and the generous pocket inside the main pocket will accommodate two 2 liter hydration packs. the lower external pocket has a large velcro panel, and there is a secret map pocket see if you can find it!

The only confession I have to make is that I did not buy this bag from amazon, I found it at a local thrift store for 15$, but its an amazing bag for 65$ nonetheless

Haven't had the chance to field test it but I bought this pack to keep in my truck with some survival/ medical essentials. It feels tough and is plenty big enough for 2 days of gear if you pack essentials (maybe a couple of luxury items). I love the molle attach points all over it, I have a canteen on one side, a survival knife on the other and a 2 Mag M-4 pouch and IFK on the back molle loops. I love the Olive coloring. Judging by the quality of the pack I'd say condor has worked out some of it's prior quality control issues. I gave it 4 stars bc it doesn't have a way to adjust the top of the shoulder straps and I'm a tall broad shouldered guy but it's not that big of a deal bc I won't be actually wearing it much if I have to use it for intended purpose.

Diaper Diva Zipper Diva Bag

This is a great bag and it's size is deceptive (in a good way). I had a couple other diaper bags and I finally found the right one. One was way too large... I ended up donating that one to my mom so she'd have a diaper bag for when she's babysitting. Another was just a big abyss with no pockets at all.

This one is perfect. I put three nine-ounce bottles, a three serving formula dispenser, baby food and a spoon, two burp cloths and two bibs, a few small toys, the included changing pad and my wallet in the main compartment. I put five size four diapers and a small tube of rash cream in one of the front pockets, a wipes case in the center front pocket (it's the widest) and more of my stuff in the other front pocket (cell phone, chapstick, hair ties, etc). I keep an extra outfit and, now that it's cooling off, a receiving blanket for my son in the back pocket (there are two pockets in the back of the bag, on the outside).

The cell phone holder is essentially useless you have a small flip phone or bar phone... and even that might be cutting it. But, it's easy to remove since it's just held on with velcro.

There is a bottle pocket, but I haven't used it yet.

I really like the attached stroller clips. The too-large diaper bag that I had came with clips, but they weren't attached to the bag (you had to either leave them on the stroller and hope they didn't get lost or keep them in the bag) and they were thin rubber (which ripped through after three uses). I really like how these are attached to the bag... nothing to lose or store.

The fabric of the bag is really heavy canvas and the zippers are heavy duty. They're not the cutesy (and flimsy) zippers that most bags have.

I think my favorite part is the messenger style of the bag. I hate going into public bathrooms, only to find that there is nowhere to put the diaper bag. The hooks on the changing stations all seem to be long gone and only a few select stores/restaurants have thought to install a shelf or a hook on the wall. So you end up having to put your diaper bag on the floor. Ew. This bag can stay attached to the parent while you're changing diapers.

So, to sum it all up. Great bag, lots of space. I can't imagine needing to take anything else for one child. I think I over-pack and there is still have plenty of space. The only negative I can come up with is the tiny cell phone holder and that's not enough for me to drop a star.

THIS BAG WE BOUGHT WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS BORN AND IT LASTED ALL THE WAY UNTIL WE NO LONGER NEEDED IT WHICH WAS 2 YEARS LATER. WE WASHED IT AND IT NEVER FADED OR LOST ITS NICE LOOK. THIS BAG WAS MADE TO LAST A LIFETIME AND WE DONATED IT TO ANOTHER MOTHER AND SHE IS STILL USING IT 2 YEARS LATER. THIS BAG IS WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE.

I've had about 3 diaper bags that really didn't meet my needs until I found this one. It has lots of room and pockets. The cell phone holder really won't fit any of the newer phones, but there are plenty of pockets to put them in. The extra pockets really gave it plenty more space and helped to organize way better than other diaper bag I've seen. I love how you can unbuckle the strap. It came in handy many times when my daughter fell asleep on my shoulder and it makes it much easier to balance the weight when carrying my daughter. I had been looking for a messenger bag that was reasonably priced that met my needs and this definitely did that! It's roomy enough to double as mom's purse as well. There's not a huge amount of pockets, but I don't really need them seeing as I'm only ever carrying around books, and iPad, and pencils. High Sierra has always been my go-to bag when I need a new school bag. This one is the perfect size. Big enough for whatever I need and not bulky at all. I recommend this for anyone who wants the perfect bag for carrying books and school supplies.

There is nothing exceptional about the backpack; but it is a nice size (not overly large and bulky, nor too small to carry my stuff). I like that it has a bit of a structure, so it doesn't flop around excessively when trying to load books.

On the outside the backpack is beautiful. The blues are really beautiful, and the gray part on the front (with the logo) is made of reflective material which is a nice touch. The material seems very durable and I can tell this backpack will last me a long time. Though it's not mentioned in the description, I contacted High Sierra about its water resistance and they assured me that it was.

The backpack is extremely roomy, yet at the same time it doesn't look bulky. At the moment I have a hard plastic binder, two hardback college textbooks, one really thick softback textbook, a thinner lab manual, a portable hard drive, AND a small purse in the main section and it all fits nicely! There are also two more sections for smaller things like a cell phone, car keys, MP3 players, etc.

Though I have yet to use it hiking, I'm sure it's going to be perfect for it.

The High Sierra company would probably cringe at the uncoolness of it all, but I think this bag is a perfect alternative to the traditional diaper bag. When my toddler started walking, I found that it was nearly impossible to keep up with him at the park, zoo, museum, etc., especially if we had to use public transportation to get where we were going. The traditional diaper bag I had just kept falling off my shoulder. The High Sierra backpack was the perfect solution. It's a great size and has numerous compartments. The back part (where most people would put books and/or a laptop) is perfect for diapers and wipes. The front part holds anything you'd normally put in your purse and even includes pockets for a cell phone, pocket camera, and pens. The two mesh pockets on the side are perfect for holding a sippy cup for the little one and a travel coffee for you! Oh, and it's incredibly sturdy. After five months of every day use, it still looks brand new. And for forty bucks, how can you beat it? Great product!

I purchased this bag based on the description but it is very hard to translate cubic feet in what the actual usable space and how it is partitioned.
