Adi Designs Genuine Leather Backpack
This bag was to replace another which finally fell apart after much use. This one is even better. There is a place for everything and plenty of space in the middle. It is soft and comfortable. I would recommend this bag to anyone who wants a super purse/backpack.I purchased this backpack when I was looking for a backpack style purse in order to be able to carry my Kindle DX with me when I go running errands and expect there to be "wait times" involved. The dimensions as given SHOULD have cleared the top of the Kindle DX by just over 1/2 inch, not a lot I grant you, but it was still suppose to be large enough to fit. As it turns out it was just about that much too short to fit and be able to close all of the way, but I still like it as a small bag when I need to carry a little more than usual (like going to movies, etc.), the leather is VERY soft and supple and it is a well-enough made bag. Would I say it is on the same level of craftsmanship as my $700 Coach purse? No, but I paid SIGNIFICANTLY less for it and got much more than my purchase price in the value I received for the purse. All-in-all, a nice, small-sized backpack style purse.Buy Adi Designs Genuine Leather Backpack Now
I GUESS THE SELLER THOUGHT I WAS A FOOL OR THOUGHT I WOULD ONLY USE THE BAG IN THE DARK WHERE I WOULDN'T NOTICE ALL THE STITCHING MISTAKES ALL OVER THE POCKET AREAS. JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING IS 20$ DOESNT GIVE THE SELLER THE RIGHT TO SEND A BADLY DEFECTIVE ITEM, WASTE MY TIME TO HAVE TO RETURN IT. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN 0 STARS BUT IT WASNT AN OPTION.Read Best Reviews of Adi Designs Genuine Leather Backpack Here
Este bolso es perfecto para guardar todos los documentos necesarios para un viaje, pasaporte, pasajes, etc... y algunos ariculos personales. No es muy grande, para mi es perfecto.I bought this as a gift for my mom because she needed a new purse & she likes the backpack kind. After only a month or two, the zippers came apart along the seams. The fabric the zippers are mounted on is so thin it couldn't stand up to normal everyday wear-&-tear. It also doesn't seem like it's real leather as the description claims. I was so disappointed. Her previous purse lasted about 8 years before the zippers failed & the liner ripped. Definitely don't buy this as a daily purse.Yens® Convenient Sling Pack-Red/Navy/Black, SB-6825
11.6"" POCKETPRO NETBOOK CASE-PURPLE (COMPUTER ACCESSORIES)
This case is perfect. I just needed something streamlined to put my 11.6 Acer in, so that I could throw it in my bag without scratches. This case is perfect. It has straps inside and an oyster shell design so that the netbook can be used while in the case (though not for too long bc of overheating possibilities). The outer and inner pockets make the case extremely convenient, and I'm fairly certain this is the only case my netbook will ever need. The neoprene isn't overly thick, but I'm not planning on throwing my computer around recklessly, so I'm not looking for a battle-ready armored case. This case suits my needs exactly.Great item for price. Fits 11.6 MacBook air almost perfectly and the outside pockets are an added plus. I bought this case for my 11.6" Acer Aspire One about a month and a half ago. The case protects my laptop really well, and the pockets are great for the accessories I have. I keep it in my backpack or carry it around for the most part, so I'm not sure if it would protect my laptop if I dropped it, but it's pretty cushioned. The only problem I've had so far is the rubber part of one of the zippers coming off, but I just duct taped it back on, so it's fine.Read Best Reviews of 11.6"" POCKETPRO NETBOOK CASE-PURPLE (COMPUTER ACCESSORIES) Here

I am extremely satisfied with this purchase. I only needed a case in order to carry my new Asus 11.7" laptop around. I wanted something cute. I wanted something soft. I wanted something small. This fit the bill perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased. The quality seems totally up to par. The front pockets look small, but it's neoprene, so they stretch like nylon. The cords, cards, mouse, and styluses fit inside the front pockets easily.
Do not, however, use your laptop while still in this case. It doesn't breathe.
Highly recommend for light use and storage.

Trans Alpine 25
This is a nice backpack, comfortable, fully adjustable, and good for cycling with. My only problem is that from the reviews I read, I expected it to be larger than it is. It's a good size for an active day, but if you are out shopping you will quickly run out of room. In hindsight, I should have purchased something larger for my needsSTM dp-3103-01 Jet Large Laptop Backpack, Fits Most 17-Inch Screens, Black
I searched for a bag that had chest compression straps, an optional waist strap, and a laptop case. Many of them were very big and bulky bags. This bag received a good review on a techblog on Yahoo.com.
The STM bag is very compact. There are a lot of compartments, but filling one often leads to less room in another.
For example:
* The bottom zippered pouch, which could hold your laptop charger, means there is less room in the bottom of the first zippered compartment
The medium bag can, at maximum, hold the following items:
* Macbook pro 15" + charger
* Ipad
* Cellphone / iphone + charger
* 2 notebooks (composition size)
* 2 paperback books or 1 moderate size hardcover book (don't try to fit a textbook or anything bulking in here the material has no stretch or give).
The biggest flaw is in the rain protection.
* The bag is made of a water resistant material.
* There is a small rain flap over the front set of zippers for the ipad compartment (which also holds pens and other items).
* However, there is NO SUCH flap over the second zippered compartment (the one that holds your laptop). Any rain or water, even a slight spill, is going to go right through the zipper and into the laptop compartment. This has happened to me twice, even in a light drizzle (and if you own a Macbook, it will void your warranty due to "water damage").
I ended up buying the STM branded rain cover (a silver bag that goes over the backpack). It hangs out in the bottom "laptop charger" compartment, and takes up even more room in the limited amount of room in the bag. This rain cover is a bit too bulky for the bag however it does stop rain from getting into that one zippered waterproof area.
So if you are a city commuter, using subways, buses, bicycles, don't take this bag out if there is a chance of rain you risk ruining your most valuable electronic possessions. The bag is super durable. There are a lot of pockets and spots to put your stuff, and it is really well made. The iPad pocket is really nice and so is the laptop pocket. I thought my 17.3" laptop wouldn't fit because looking at the "interior dimensions" on the specifications page, my laptop was too big, but in reality, it fit perfectly and I'm really happy with this bag. I will say that there is not a ton of room if you plan on filling the thing with more than like three or four textbooks. But if you're a college student it's a perfect laptop bag because you won't need to carry more than one textbook at a time. Plus this is at a really good value, it's normally close to $100

I have (like many others) increasingly started to carry a laptop (Mac 15") and an iPad everyday. I use an extra sleeve to keep the iPad in place while keeping the laptop in it's slot. Additionally I also travel quite a bit and I have a large multi-day backpack with a laptop slot. The day-to-day laptop back is starting to show it's age in terms of accommodating all these new gadgets and my travel back-pack is a too big to prevent all these gizmos from rattling around in the bag. The STM seemed to be the perfect middle ground solution and moreover Wired magazine had high praises for it
I have been using it for about a month now and I have also had the opportunity to travel with a couple of times and I'm happy with it overall. A few caveats though
1. It is NOT a jack of all trades. The bag is optimized to carry a laptop, a tablet and probably a few other accessories. It will be hard to use it as a general purpose backpack
2. It has a very nice and tight form-factor and there is absolutely no rocking or twisting as you walk through airports or flight aisles, a wonderful feeling, but it also means a lot of tradeoff with what you carry. After your laptop and tablet goes in, there is actually very little room for anything else more substantial. It's bit like playing whack-a-mole, stuff something up in the front pocket and you cant even put your hand down the back pocket
3. Last, the inner beading just below the zippers are too close to the zippers. This does not seem like a big deal, but in a such a tight-fitting back, I was constantly getting the zipper snagged in the beading if I wasn't careful
On the whole, despite these trade-offs, I still like the bag for what it is, but if you need a more general purpose back pack this is not a good option

the reviewers that said this wasn't sturdy are right, in a way... the back and straps seem sturdy but not the rest of it. i'm keeping it because i love the prints and i don't plan to carry a ton of weight in there. but if it were made of a stronger canvas or if there were more balance between the front and back materials, it could have been better.AmeriLeather Jumbo Leather Backpack

I looked and looked and looked for the right size and shape messenger bag. I looked at every bag store and shop you could think of: sports equipment stores, department stores, luggage stores. I spent hours and hours on line. I even tried to pick one out of tim buk 2's collection. It was a no go. Every bag was just too big, too tall or too wide, had strange clips, or bad handle and sling reviews. Or it was too hideous. I looked for two years, seriously that may seem like a lot of time, but I didn't want to drop money on something I didn't like. Then while in Vegas, I heard they had a TUMI store in the mall. For whatever reason, I had not known TUMI had messenger type bags. I thought they just did regular luggage. That was my bad. Anyways, I ran in there and this bag was on a rack right in the middle of the store. It looked like the perfect size. The material is excellent quality and it survives any kind of abuse you can throw at it. The handle and shoulder strap work fine, and while there is no shoulder pad on the strap, I have never felt the slightest bit of discomfort even when I had it loaded up with textbooks and water.
One of the things so many other bags lack is the right assortment of pockets/divisions. Some only have one or two pockets. This thing has something like nine. Honestly, it has so many pockets it is hard to count them all right. There may be more, I get a different count every time. Size wise, it can fit folders and notebooks just fine, and I am sure it will fit pads and small to medium sized notebook computers into it though I never tried.
It may be pricey, but it is worth it. I take it everywhere with me. It is easy to just toss in the truck and go, and stylish enough to be business savvy. It can hold a change of clothes for an overnighter. I cannot say enough about this bag. In this day and age when so many of the things we purchase tend to be crappy temporary items, I can see this bag lasting years and years and years. You get what you pay for. It also has, at least mine did, a bar code i.d. stitched into one of the pockets which you can register through TUMI so in case you lose it, if an honest person finds it, they can just punch in the bar code i.d. and locate your contact information.

Having bought many Tumi bags and luggage pieces over the years I found this bag disappointment. The design is OK but the nylon material is much lighter than anything I've experienced in the past. Certainly it's a less "structured" piece than other models but the material is so light it basically sags out of shape when lightly loaded. The strangest design choices are the cross body strap and the front flat straps. Unlike the usual Tumi textured nylon strap of other cases, the cross body strap is a shiny smooth ribbon like affair with no shoulder pad. The flap straps are the same material and so smooth that the friction buckle will not hold an adjustment when synched down. In other words, when you open the buckles, the straps slip back through the buckles to the end of the strap at maximum length. Not a good choice if you're looking for Tumi quality.Pokemon Backpack & Lunchbag

I have to say, I was hesitant on getting this sleeve, for that some said it would fit the 15.4 inch laptops, and some 16's. I ordered this one, got in the mail just recently, tried it out, and it fits my Dell Studio XPS 16 (w/ the 16 inch screen) like a GLOVE!!! I LOVE the fact that on one side of it is lined with suede, so removing it makes it very easy!!! I feel confident now that I don't have to worry about leaving my computer somewhere, or have it collect dust, since I'm deployed out in Afghanistan at the moment. The zipper felt good, wasn't flimsy or anything, it should last as long as I keep the computer. Also, I had ordered an OGIO Politan Pack just recently, and wasn't sure if the Sleeve with my laptop inside of it would fit, but sure enough it did!!! Not only am I happy with the purchase, but at the fact that sleeve fits PERFECTLY within the OGIO Politan Backpack!! So if it fits my 16inch XPS without any issues, any 15.4 inch laptop SHOULD fit in here as well...I was looking for a basic sleeve to protect my iPad and Apple wireless keyboard while stowed inside my backpack. This case fit the bill perfectly. Additionally, the quality of design, materials, and construction FAR exceeded my expectations considering what I paid (under $15).
General comments:
Basic sleeve design for a netbook or iPad, as advertised. The construction is high quality, especially for the price. The material feels sturdy in hand, but is exceptionally light. Both sides of the sleeve are padded (neither side is rigid). The interior surface is smooth nylon. The interior portion of the zipper is protected from contents by a lip of fabric which, by its design, does NOT get caught up in the zipper. The zipper itself runs from the top left corner of the sleeve all the way down the right side of the sleeve, giving you the flexibility to only open the sleeve from the top or open it up more widely. Accented patches at the bottom and front center are a nice touch, providing good grip points.
iPad specific:
Bought the sleeve to house my iPad. Was despairing because I could not find a simple case to house both my iPad and my Apple wireless keyboard. Thought I would be forced to leave the sleeve open at the top with the keyboard sticking out. To my surprise, the iPad AND keyboard fit nicely together in the sleeve. The keyboard takes up the maximum height of the case, but the zipper closes nicely without being forced or rubbing, even with the iPad inside also.

I bought this case over the other neoprene cases available from Caselogic, though it was the purchase of another neoprene case as a gift that turned me on to the Caselogic laptop sleeves. I opted for this model because of the tougher fabric from which it is made and because it is more padded. The case is very solid. As others have noted, the small accent patches of softer suede-like material on the ends make it much easier to grip the case, and the case provides very good protection for a laptop.
Despite the benefits of the padding, it is also, perhaps, the case's biggest drawback. It is quite thick in comparison the neoprene cases against which it might be compared. But since it has no external pockets, that thickness comes with no capacity to carry the accessories--like a laptop charger or earbud headphones, etc--you might need if you intend to use this case as your primary means of transporting your laptop. I use this case, in its 14" size, primarily to protect my laptop when I carry it in my larger briefcase to prevent my computer from sliding around or getting damaged by pens and the like in my larger bag. It is excellent in this capacity, and also serves me well when I go on quick errands where I know I won't be needing to plug in my laptop and don't want to carry my whole briefcase.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the case. It does its job well, and I don't mind the slightly larger size because I appreciate the extra padding and protection--the reason I bought the case in the first place.

*note: edited review two weeks after purchase* This is a very comfortable and compact case and build quality is excellent. It would be my favorite case if not for two things:1) My 10.1" Aspire One with the larger 6-cell battery pack *BARELY* fits. It's a very tight squeeze and the zipper takes some effort to get it to close around the corners.
2) No room for extras. It's a real stretch to get any extras in the case. I cannot zip it closed if I put the power cord, mouse, etc in this same case.
This is a sturdy, well padded and very protective case. If you need to carry extras with it, choose something larger.
Stephen Joseph Boys 2-7 Boy's Quilted Backpack
My son got this backpack as a gift for his first birthday. He is now 4-years old and we have used it every week for the last 3 years. It's excellent quality, the fabric is still in great condition. Yes it's true the color does fade a bit but I think that's very normal of fabric material in general. My son LOVES his backpack especially since he has his name embroidered on it. Having his name on it helped him to learn the letters in his name! I am now looking to order one for my second child who also loves his big brother's backpack ;)I highly recommend this product and have given it as gifts as well! This backpack is perfect for my 2yr boy twins.. After spending some time looking at bags for my NEX-6 (to be delivered), I ended up with the 16L Photo Hatchback by Lowepro. I went through their gear tool in order to determine which pack would be best suited for my needs. I went based off of the NEX-7 since it is virtually the same size as the 6. With this, a few lenses, and a tablet in mind, the Photo Hatchback seemed to fit the bill.Once I received the product, I was not surprised to find out that the Pepper Red was actually more of an Orange (knew this by other reviews and videos) but I was very happy with the color. The bag has tons of great features, it is quite comfortable, and overall the build quality is excellent. I just reviewed the tripod that I purchased (Benro MeFoto Travel Tripod Kit, Titanium (A0350Q0T)) and although it doesnt fit in the bag with the carry case, it does fit in one of the side water bottle pockets. It is exposed, but it is still a nice thing to know that it will fit (may need a water bottle to counter the weight on the opposite side, but thats not a big deal to me really).
The photo compartment is compact, but has more than enough room to be sufficient for the gear that I plan on taking. In addition, there are other pockets for anything else youd want to bring with you.
I am very excited about this bag, and extremely pleased with my purchase.I bought this for travelling with my 60d, 17-40mm, and 100mm lenses and the space is highly customizable. Everything fits snug and I have room for 2 water bottles or one water bottle w/mini tripod plus my tablet and a jacketnice deep pockets on the front. There is plenty of room left in the top for misc. snacks or whatever as well. One of my favorite features of this pack is that the waist belt is easily removable. I don't particularly care for one on a pack this size so I was delighted that I didn't have to cut it off as I've had to do with some packs in the past, plus I can quickly throw it on if the situation calls for it. I looked at these bags in the store and there doesn't appear to be a lot of space difference between this bag and the 22Lthe extra space is mostly in the upper portion of the pack. If my impression of this pack changes after my trip I'll make sure to update this review, but as for right now I am thrilled with my purchase.

In my never-ending quest for the ultimate photo backpack, I recently came across this new Lowepro Hatchback. It attracted my attention with it's combination of lightweight materials, sleek design and modest size (at least for the 16 liter model). I was looking for a small to medium-sized daypack with good ergonomics, and so I thought the Hatchback 16L would fit the bill nicely.First things first: the Pepper Red definitly isn't red! It is actually bright orange, which is not ugly at all, but it will take some getting used to.
Secondly, the bag really is lightweight. The materials do feel a little thin, but they seem to be tough enough. The wide shoulder straps are very good and nicely padded, as is the back panel. This will certainly not cause issues on a long day in the field. The inside camera compartment (accessed via the back panel) is also padded very well and has an extra storm-flap closure, which is good against dust or moisture.
Beware that the camera compartment of the 16 liter version will only hold a medium-sized DSLR with standard zoom lens attached, and some smaller accessoiries. I have a Nikon D90 with 18-105 lens, and this setup occupies about 75% of the space inside the compartment. This means there is not enough room left for any additional lenses! If you want to take extra lenses, they will need to go in the top compartment, which is roomy enough, but of course not padded.
This upper compartment is surprisingly roomy and adds a great deal to the bag's functionality. It will easily hold your lunch box and a light jacket or rain gear (although it will be a little tight if you also carry addittional lenses in there). It has 2 elastic mesh pockets and 1 zippered compartment. These are useful for smaller items such as keys, filters, cables, etc. A water bottle can go into 1 of the 2 outside mesh pockets, and the front pocket is useful for flat items such as books, newspapers or a tablet PC. There are no dedicated tripod attachments, although you could put a compact model in one of the side mesh pockets.
Overall, I think the Hatchback 16L is a well-designed and very functional camera bag. I really like the sleek design and low profile of the 16L model. It's not a giant of a backpack, which will make it ideal for day trips as well as longer travels. Toughness "on the road" has not been tested yet, but as it's a Lowepro I expect no problems there. The only drawback is the size of it's camera compartment, as it will definitly not accommodate any additional lenses. It's bigger brother, the 22L model, will probably do better in this respect, but the increased size does qualify it as a large backpack.

Found this bag perchance while looking for a mid size bag to occupy the daypack region. My Carry all is too big for hiking, etc and pretty much just carries camera gear. I have a small Domke that holds all my lenses and a few Filters, but was too small for my Cokin P setup, a flash, and the camera itself. If I needed them then it was the carry all or two smaller bags. Enter the Lowepro 16L AW.I generally have my camera out and ready to go on a hike, so i reconfigured the camera compartment as was able to fit a Nikkor 70-300 f/3.5-4.5, a Tokina 11-16 f/2.8, a Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 and an old Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF-D pancake as well as one remote flash trigger and receiver in the compartment.
The top area was completely unused for any lenses, but fits a complete set of Grad NDs and a Cokin P Head/hood as well as an SB-700 Flash and accessories (in the pouch) as well as several screw in filters, and miscellaneous smaller items like a remote, lenspen, and rocket blower. Even with all that I still had room for my D7000 with a Nikkor 28-70 f/3.5-4.5 attached, a microfiber towel, and/or a compact rain jacket. None of this was really crammed in the bag and it does not bulge or look overfilled. Granted it took a bit of creative layout in the top compartment, but it all fit well and was not jammed in.
The camera/lens compartment is padded, removable and has a weather flap that can be closed over it and zipped up inside. The bag itself it water resistant and includes a rain cover, so all in all my gear it pretty well protected from the elements inside.
Downsides are that the removal dividers in the camera compartment aren't really well suited to true customization. there is really only a finite set of ways you can organize the inside. I might be grabbing some other dividers from some other bags to get it working better. This is not the bag you want to carry a large body in. the 22L AW is better suited for that if you want to carry more than 1 other lens. The other thing is that I haven't really found a way to attach a tripod to the bag. There are two elastic pouches on the sides for water bottles or whatever, but there is no way to really secure a tripod at the top if you use the pouches to hold a leg. Big thing for a hiker/landscape photographer. I am sure I'll figure something out with a D-ring, but a simple velcro strap at the top would have solved the whole issue.
All in all, this is my new day hiker, day at the park, commuter bag. Well made, thought out design, and not overly obnoxious as a camera bag means that it will be getting a lot of use.

It seems i've searched forever for the perfect bag.Have i found it? No, but after so many years of "collecting" bags, i've come to realize there is no one perfect bag anyway. ;)
The Lowepro Hatchback (16L) is a very versatile bag that can be used to carry some limited camera equipment, along with personal items for a day hike, walking around town, on sundry excursions, etc.
As a working photojournalist, i wouldn't use it on a regular basis to WORK out of though. For that matter, i rarely use any backpack-style bag to work photo assignments. That's why i have so many bags to begin with. Just like lenses, each serves a different purpose. Most bags i work out of are small-ish shoulder-style bags that are easy to open and access, such as Domke (my favorites are the F3x and the F803).
At first, i was a bit skeptical of the back-access panel. But it's really no harder to access than the front, in fact, i do think it is slightly easier. The point is that you DO have to take it off your back though, just like any other backpack, to get inside it. Sling-bags are really not much better. None of them are really quick-draw. That's why when i am actually working, i hardly ever keep a camera inside ANY bag. They are just to hold the needed extra lenses, flash, batteries, etc. for the particular job.
That said, when you are walking/hiking, for recreation/commuting, and only need your camera occasionally, this bag does work well.
The thing i like the most about it is the SIZE.
It is NOT too small for it's purpose.
But if you want to carry every lens, camera body, and flash you own, plus the kitchen sink, then it won't work for you, and your search for the perfect bag will resume. (i have enough lenses, flashes, camera gear to put in 10 bags, but only take what i need for a given opportunity).
After one day, i've only taken one hour-long walk through the woods with it so far. It's comfortable enough. It perfectly carries my slim Thermos bottle (Thermos Vacuum Insulated Stainless Steel Hydration Bottle, 18 Ounce--love this bottle) in either side mesh pocket, or my cell phone (inside a case) in the other. You could put a bottle on both sides, or a very small tripod.
The straps seem a bit hard, but maybe they will soften some with some use. They are supportive and the weight is distributed well though. Havent used the waist or sternum straps so far. I discovered that the waist straps can actually be tucked out of the way inside the little bottom pocket with the rain cover. Nothing i hate more than having all those long straps dangling everywhere in the way all the time. The sternum straps can be adjusted height-wise on a built-in bar on the shoulder straps, and they come wound up and tied with an elastic band, which is the way i've kept them.
The material is light but seems STRONG. The whole pack is pleasingly LIGHT without any gear, which is another of my main reasons for purchase; some bags are just so heavy and cumbersome to begin with...before you even load them up!
I'm really glad it has a rain cover. I like the light-colored cover with only the logo on it. It is attached to the bottom of the bag with a little strap and goes inside its own little pocket on the very bottom of the bag. It covers the bag well, but i havent tried it in the rain yet so see how well it works. Undoubtably i will at some point though, and i wanted a bag with a rain cover.
I do not especially like the Lowepro name stencil-ized down the side of the front. Not to knock the brand, i think Lowepro makes some geat products, i just don't think i should have to advertise for them. Would rather it was smaller/less obtrusive or just the logo. Plus, everyone then knows its a bag to hold expensive camera gear.
The look of the bag is otherwise nice. I got the plainer charcoal-gray so it would go with about anything and not be so noticeable. The blue looks nice, but i just don't personally like really loud bright colors for camera bags, although i suppose if you are hiking around in the middle of the woods where a lot of hunters are, the Pepper orange-red bag might be handy!
Inside the main photo section (which can be removed if you want), the bag will fit one body (without grip) with a smaller attached lens. I've fit my Nikon D300s OR D7000 body with a Tamron 60mm f/2 Macro or Sigma 17-70mm f/2.8-4 (with hood in shooting position!)inside it, with a bit more room for a small prime such as a 50mm f/1.4 or Sigma 24mm f/1.8. Could even attach a 85mm f/1.4 (with hood reversed or off). With one body/lens combo, i can also fit my Fuji x10 inside this section and maybe a charger, extra battery or two. You can put a flash card or small battery in a elastic holder which is built-in to the flap.
You're not going to ba able to fit a larger pro body with huge pro zoom lenses in here though. But you could fit 3-4 nice primes.
The top section is quite roomy, is has two mesh pockets and a bigger zippered pocket, none padded. I can fit another body and smaller lens attached in the top pocket, or a 70-200 f/2.8 even. Keep in mind that this section is not particularly designed for photo gear, but it does work, and the padding around the other areas of the bag do provide some protection. I'll most likely use this section for various small personal items though, as intended. Phone, MP3 player, headphones, audio recorder, batteries, snacks, cap, etc. I will say that the zipper seems a bit hard to open on this top main compartment at times, wants to snag a bit as there is a built-in rain drip over the zipper. Its not a deal-breaker, but it doesnt open as smoothly as the other zippers for the tablet section or camera back section.
Being the age we are in, i now have and carry a tablet with me at times, which was another of the primary reasons i wanted/needed a new bag.
The front section of the bag is intended to hold a tablet, such as ipad. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (loaded with PhotoshopTouch), which even in a faux leather cover, fits perfectly. A bigger laptop would not fit however. There is a sleeve-pocket inside this zippered pocket, which is padded and holds the tablet perfectly. You could even put something else, such a small Kindle in this section. This works great for me, and provides easy access. Maybe its easy access for a thief as well, but i'd think you could feel the zipper opening and the device being pulled out of the sleeve, so i'm not so worried.(You could also surmise that the photo section would be impossible to steal from though). This section is a perfect fit for a tablet (10-11 inches max), is padded for protection, and the other sections serve their intended functions well too.
Overall, i am very happy with this bag. It holds what i want it to, and nothing more. The 22L version would be too cumbersome for me, and force me to carry too much, uncomfortably.
I'm sure some day i'll be looking for another bag to suit another need, but for now, this one does the job quite nicely!
Victorinox Luggage Wt 22 Dual Caster Lightweight Bag
I travel international long trips (1+month) frequently, and all I bring is always one carry-on. Over the years, I developed a wish list my old samsonite failed to meet, but Victorinox delivers with this bag.Pros:
+ 8 wheels: Even when fully packed, it is much easier to glide through small alleys, airports, etc, than 4 or 2 wheels
+ Lightweight: it is two pounds lighter than my previous samsonite. That's a lot for 2-month in a carry-on kind of packing.
+ Outer pocket for liquids and another bigger one for ipad or small laptop.
+ Very roomy: not all carry-ons of the same size have the same capacity, when you open this one, you'll see.
+ Attach a bag system: very useful when I'm at the airport and suddedly have an extra plastic bag filled with snacks.
+ non tip-over design: Every samsonite I had that's expandable or has a front pocket will always tip-over, especially since I pack a lot into my carry-on. They will just refuse to stand on their own. this Victorinox fixed this problem.
Cons
-The garment bag takes up a lot of room and is not useful at protecting against wrinkles. Luckily, you can detach it. I use an eagle creek pack-it folder instead for clothes I need to keep wrinkle-free.
Love love this bag!My first 2 rolling luggage pieces were by Victorinox since l liked the build quality in the WT 2.0 upright w/inline wheels. The expandable section was well-placed behind the bottom foot meaning the bag was less prone to tipping when it's expanded. I also like the mono pole pull handle and the attach-a-bag strap on the front, since when it's in use, the center of gravity is lower and you don't feel the weight of the extra bag on your arm the way you would if the extra bag was on top. I decided it was time for an upgrade after 7 years. I got the same red color, same 22" size in the 4.0 and the equivalent WT Spinner. Same high quality build, lighter in weight. I use packing bags now thanks to Vic's having had them in the 2.0 to make use of the space around the handle storage area. I can get so much more in a 22" bag and have no use for the larger 24" bag l also had. I like the gussetted zip pockets on the bag's front, the lower one is a larger inverted 'U'-shape, the top one is more shallow, perfect for last-minute items or 311 bag.
Now for the not-so-nice: l am VERY disappointed that Vic didn't include the MUCH-NEEDED assist handle on the bottom of the WT spinner! What are we supposed to do now, grab a dirty wheel? That handle is a necessity for accessing overhead bins on planes and trains, the Avolve line has it! Why not the WT? This needs a retrofit.
Except for the omission of that handle, I am happy with my purchase of these 2 pieces.

I was looking for the largest spinner carry-on I could get away with for most flights. I also wanted something of decent quality. This bag fits the bill. My favorite part is the suiter. Keeps suits and dresses wrinkle-free and makes packing a breeze. The purple is gorgeous as well--a deep eggplant color.
