Trail Maker Classic 16" Backpack
I bought this bag for two reasons: its cheap and its simple. I don't like shopping for back packs because there are a million designs and colors and they are all expensive, and this backpack is perfect. I needed something to take with when I go hiking to hold my water bottles, phone, and wallet: this backpack met all those needs. Then I started using it daily to take to work with meI have been using it daily on hikes, walks, and to work for almost 8 months and it still holds up fine. I even ordered a second one just to have it around in case. Also, it does hold a lot of weight. When I hike, I like to add some weight to the backpack to increase the challenge, and I once had 80 lbs in weights plus two 32 oz water bottles in there and it held up perfectly for the 3 hour hike. Love it!

This backpack is simply made, one large main storage area and one outside pocket and no padding making it very light weight. I'm using this to carry my purse and tablet as I'm not adding much weight using this backpack. Great for taking the bus around town. The small outside pocket is large enough to hold a fairly bulky zoom digital camera but I put it in a padded sleeve first since that pocket would most likely be bumped a lot.The straps are padded and only 2" wide which is great for my narrow shoulders but not so narrow that they dig into my shoulders even with my hefty purse inside.

I love this backpack. The interior is really nice and it has enough room for a laptop and 3-4 more books/notebooks. It's a little too tight for my computer and my books (which is why I took a star off); but, I was able to fit all my things in it. The design is beautiful, the material is great, and i love the fact that it has that shiny coat which makes cleaning just a wipe away. It's a little pricey but well worth the money and it was delivered in less than 48 hours. I recommend this item!

This is a great bag, the leather is nice and soft yet durable. Inside pockets are lined, expands to be considerably large. The only thing I would like better: when you unzip the expansion, the inner compartment (one that houses the laptop) gets larger... it may be nice if the outer pocket (one that has the file separators) would expand. For example, if I have a bottle of water I would rather put that in with the files than the laptop, but aside from that it's a very nice bag. And, I suppose it does make more sense for the inner compartment to expand because that has a flat bottom so you can fit more in there.Would definitely recommend!

This is a really nice bag for the price offered by amazon as opposed to the original retail.The color is a very nice typical leathery dark brown and the feel of the leather is soft and soothing.
It fits my 15 inch mac book pro nice and snug, with about half an inch to spare on each side.
The other section holds a book or two with a few paper files without bulking up.
I would recommend it.

Excellent quality, attractive, the perfect size, not too big, not too small. The only glitch is a minor one. The metal zipper handles will hit each other much louder than you'd imagine as you walk with it. That incessant clacking can get mildly annoying. Handles most laptops very well. Formal enough for business, casual enough for anywhere.

I bought this bag for my daily gym trips. So far, it's held up great! I love Dakine and everything from them seems to last longer than any other brand. The separate side compartment is great for shampoo/conditioner/hair stuff for post-workout showers. I can fit shoes, two outfits and a towl in the main compartment. The color is unique and no one else has it. It is extremely durable and i have seen no show of wear. The arm strap is padded and non-slip, which is GREAT when I'm carrying a lot of stuff. Nest Collins Diaper Bag
Love the nest diaper bag so far! I am just packing it for the big delivery date but I already know I'm going to love using this for years to come!Pros:

-wish the changing mat had it's own lil carrying case instead of having to use one of the tall pockets on the side to hold it
-inner lining does NOT unzip out like other nest bags however it is easily inverted and likely easy to wash and airdry
All in all a beautiful and functional bag that does NOT look like a diaper bag :0)

The North Face Heckler Backpack
I finally decided to post a review about my Heckler backpack from The North Face. I'll start by saying that if this one ever wears out, I'm just going to buy another one.I bought the backpack in December of 2009 and since then it has experienced 6 semesters of college, 2 1/2 months of working at a summer camp, and a two week trip in China. After all that it's still in near perfect condition, the only sign of wear appears to be a water retardant clear-coat that lines the inside of the bag.
What this bag offers you is durability, capacity, versatility, and organization.
DURABILITY: After everything I've put it though it's lasted me this long and appears to have many years ahead of it.
CAPACITY: The main compartment is enormous. During the trip to china I used it as my carry-on. It held my toiletries, a change of clothes as well as a rain jacket, 32 oz. water bottle, and two books with a notebook. Inside of the main compartment there is a laptop sleeve with a velcro strap, as well as two 3x7 pockets attacked to the front wall. In the smaller pocket there is a pocket that can hold multiple books (depending on the size, I put a Bible and notebook in mine), as well as two more smaller pockets that could easily fit a cell phone. There are three pencil holders. And then of course you have the main pocket that you could stuff anything into. There is one more zip pocket above the one just discussed for an MP3 player with a hole for a headphone cord. I usually store my IPhone in this pocket during class for quick availability. On the side of the bag you have two adjustable straps with a buckle function designed to compress or expand the pack as you see fit. Under them there is a bungee equipped water bottle holder, again, I use a 32 oz. water bottle, so it's pretty big. On the front of the pack there are multiple loops made of a durable material that you can easily clip a carabiner to or tie a rope to attach something too big for the adjustable bungee. I have fit a pair of tennis shoes in the bungee, for a capacity reference. On the bottom of the pack there are two adjustable straps that can be used for whatever purpose you see fit. I can see them being used to carry around a compressed sleeping bag, I've used mine to carry around a towel on occasion. The straps of the pack offer two buckles that can offer support when you clip them around your torso, as well as two D-rings and one small pocket that can hold a small cell phone or in my case, a pocket-knive/multi-tool.
**a side note about the capacity. I worked a second summer at the camp after my first with the Heckler and received as a gift a Columbia Half Track. They asked that we use the packs during school for advertisement but I just couldn't do it! the pack was so small compared to my heckler I had to switch back.
VERSATILITY: I have used this pack in many contexts and it fits them all. If your outdoors hiking and need a hefty day-pack or if your in school and have to carry around a lot of books.
ORGANIZATION: being organized is a major thing for me. Not only do I want to be able to carry a lot, I want to know where to find it within 10 seconds of looking. With all the various sized pockets available on the pack, that is 100% possible.
The only thing left to be spoken of is the price. I'll be honest, I'm usually cheap but I am willing to spend big money on things that I know are going to be quality and that I'm going to use a lot. I have never had an unhappy moment with my Heckler, never been frustrated that I can't fit something or attach a thing. And no unhappy moments with my Heckler is worth the $80 bucks I paid for it. And like I said, I will be buying a new one when this one wears out (if it does).

I am a college student in my junior year, I purchased this pack 5 years ago and I still use it daily for school and just about everything else. It is perfect for a student due to the laptop sleeve for a 15 in laptop and plenty of other space for books and notebooks. There are plenty of pockets and organizers throughout the pack. The shoulder straps offer tons of cushion so you can pack on that extra book for class without feeling weighed down. I have used this pack for school, sports, hiking, hunting, traveling, and many other activities. This is an awesome backpack. I am about 5'3", 125 pounds, and it fits perfectly, distributing weight evenly. It has both a hip strap and a chest strap to add stability, if needed. If you plan a real trek and to haul stuff for overnight camping, you can probably manage it but may want to go one size up, unless, like me, you can roll up stuff, use wickable layers, and manage with a few changes of clothing. Ok, so I got this today and while opening the box I was thinking about all the junk I could fit in it. About 2 minutes later my 9 year old daughter stole it from me and declared that it would be "perfect" for her Nintendo DS, games, charger, and extra stylus'!!! She put all her stuff in it and I was surprised how great the fit was. She was kind enough to let me borrow it for a minute to see how I liked it. It fits everything I'll need to take on our upcoming vacation (phone and ipod chargers, usb cords, etc.) Perhaps the never ending search for the perfect game carrying case has finally ended. The only problem now is I have to order another one and wait for it to get here! At least I got a "thanks, mom" out of it, lol.

This Built case is not my first one, but this color "Micro Dot" is. I have always like built, the title says it all "It is Built to last". The case however was not to my liking with the four slits in it they call pockets for holding things. For me this bag is the perfect shape and size. It's convenient for me to go from wheeling it to duffel style. The base and handles seem solid so far. The only thing that kept me from giving this 5 stars is the hooks for the shoulder strap. I'm not sure if it will hold up to heavy use.

My son got this backpack as a gift for his first birthday. He is now 4-years old and we have used it every week for the last 3 years. It's excellent quality, the fabric is still in great condition. Yes it's true the color does fade a bit but I think that's very normal of fabric material in general. My son LOVES his backpack especially since he has his name embroidered on it. Having his name on it helped him to learn the letters in his name! I am now looking to order one for my second child who also loves his big brother's backpack ;)I highly recommend this product and have given it as gifts as well!

We love our stephen Joseph back pack we bought for our 20 month old son. it is big enough to hold his cloth diapers change of clothes, water bottle and snacks on days out. We plan on using it for travel purposes to keep his toys and items for the car and I think it will be perfect.,The only downfall I have is the day we received it, I went to adjust the straps to a smaller size for my son and one of the buttons fell right off. But it was an easy fix.

Banjo Brothers Backpack
I am a daily bike commuter in Seattle. It's raining about 9 months out of the year. Anyone that commutes in Seattle needs a waterproof bag.I looked at many different bags and finally settled on this one based on the recommendation of a friend. It's better priced than similar Ortlieb options, and I have been very happy with it.
First I bought the large which is an enormous bag! The bag itself isn't heavy per se, but I found myself using up the extra space which was adding unnecessary weight. Then I bought the small size too which is much better. I could even go smaller, so Banjo Bros if you are listening, how about a mini bag? I'm happy having 2 sizes I use the large for travel. It fits under the seat as a carry-on.
What I like about the bag:
* Great price compared to other similar bags
* Has a front pocket for wallet or cell phone; place for pens, pencils, small pump
* Zipper pocket for random stuff (I use it for wrench, change, patch kit)
* side pocket for u-lock
* waist and chest strap keep it snug and distribute weight properly
* reflective strips
* little hook to attach a flashing light
* Backpack is more comfortable for me than a messenger style bag
* it never looks dirty
What I don't like (none of these are deal breakers, and if they had to raise the price to fix, I would happily do without)
* The cell phone holder on the shoulder strap lost its Velcro closure after 1 year. Had to remove it.
* The cell phone holder is not waterproof. Would be nice if it was a sealed holder. If it is raining, you cannot have your cell in the shoulder strap or it will get soaked.
* Wish the inside had a (preferably padded) compartment for a laptop to keep it off of my back and safer when I drop the bag to the ground
* if you pack the bag to the top, the outer flap will not cover the front pockets.
* I wish they had one size smaller (it's not large, but a mini would be cool)
* wish there was a hook or clip for keys in one of the pockets
All in all, a great bag that has lasted me 2 years of daily commuting in all sorts of weather. I would highly recommend it.

I have had this bag for a few weeks and use it daily for bike rides. The bag is massive and durable. One problem came about. The waterproof bag lining the backpack has welded seams however one of them was defective and had begun to split. Splitting would eventually lead to a useless waterproof sheet versus a functional bag. I found the banjo brother site and emailed the contact. He replied within 10 minutes and I got a new liner in two days.The bag is amazing! You can fit a 24 pack of cans be it soda or beer or whatever.
the inner lining rolls up with the top of the backpack and the bag itself has drain holes on the bottom so if you get caught in a downpour the stuff in your waterproof liner will be dry as a bone.
Great price for a fantastic bag.

I know people complain about this bag being too big, but it's perfect for daily commuters. The bag is large, water proof, is dark, so it always looks clean. It has external pouches for a regular-size bike lock, water bottle, pens, wallet, smart phone, and you can easily attach a light to it. I like it much better than another bike bag I paid twice as much for. The bag is so big that you can carry groceries, work clothes, and laptop.

As a luggage fiend, found this exoensive but it is singular in its strength, durability and design. 4 wheel ease us the way to travel, whether carry on or check in. The outboard handle on Briggs and Riley on 4 wheels makes it less maneuverable than tumi and others.Larger luggage benefit from 4 wheels and this one feels featherweight. Weak handle is an irritant (don't pull with any additional luggage or it will bend the handles). That is the only "I would think twice" on this size. Have the smaller one too and it is a workhouse piece of luggage.
