High Sierra Water Bottle Sport Duffel
I use this bag to put my gym clothes and shoes in so I can hit the gym on the way home from work. It would fit a towel and shower kit. I like the water bottle holder on the outside I keep my refillable water bottle there so I always have a water bottle at the gym. The separate shoe pocket is great, but it does fill some of the inside of the bag so it does not give you any extra space. It does give you a place to put your shoes so they will not touch your clothes and get them dirty. The handle on one end of the bag makes it easy to slide in and out of the storage box at my gym. Small enough so it fits nicely on the floorboard of my car behind the driver/passenger seat. Two small pockets on one side are great for keys, cell phone, and mp3 player. Happy with my new gym bag.

Updated 2013-02-09: I contacted High Sierra shortly after writing the original review. A new bag arrived after a few weeks. The replacement has held up well since, and the zipper is still attached. Bought one of these in a retail travel store. The 'U' shape opening makes it very easy to access the main compartment and get things in/out. Mine saw light duty ~3x week as a gym bag after work and the roughly monthly weekend trip. The zipper came off in less than a year which was very disapppointing. Otherwise, the bag held up very well.

This bag perfectly fits my Acer AOD257. It's cute and stylish and is not overly bulky. It's the traditional neoprene quishy material like so many carry cases out there. However, unlike many cases that are more like a sleeve, this one zips to keep your computer in the bag which is nice. Despite the claim that you can hide the handles, tucking them in makes the bag a little lumpy and funny looking, but they are not so obnoxious that you couldn't just leave them out all the time. (or if you don't need them, cut them off.) Small pouch in front is not terribly roomy but the stretchy nature of the neoprene lets you put in a mouse and AC adapter as long as you don't mind the lumpiness. Product seems to be of adequate quality although the design on the front pouch is a professional iron on decal, so you need to be careful about stretching the fabric under it if you want it to last. I needed a bag to use when riding my motorcycle. This bag was just what I was looking for. The refelcetive strip and the orange color add to the safety so motorist can see me. Also I am in the Army and on my post it is required for motorcyle riders to have a refelctive belt on the bag when riding. This in turn removed the need for me to have to use the belt with the reflective strip on it. Not to mention this bag is the perfect size and has many pockets. Great bag!!!!!!

I purchased this backpack because of the reflective strip on the back. I decided on the black backpack, but the so called "reflective strip" was not reflective at all. I tested the reflective strip by placing the backpack in one of my bedrooms, no lights on, almost completely blacked out, and shined a flashlight on it with the results showing no hint of reflective properties on this backpack at all. Otherwise the backpack seems to be of quality material and has a good amount of compartments available throughout. I am still disappointed at the strip not being reflective because I am going to use it for my rides on my motorcycle. I resorted to having a reflective belt being wrapped around the backpack for easier visibility for other motorists on the road.-In short, good quality material, plenty of spacious compartments, but no reflective strip. This was misleading during my decision to purchase it.

I'm no diaper bag newbieI have a 3 and 2 year olds and i've been thru many high end diaper bags (petunia, storsak, other skip hops, ju ju be's...) so my review is a good one! this bag is SO amazing for the price. VERY similar to the storksak emily but less than half the price and a bit larger which when you have two kids is better! So much room for everything without looking silly when not as full for errands or a quick trip. Can be packed with tons of stuff for a longer day out too. Don't know why anyone mentions the fabric seeming cheap; it seems very nice and silky yet strong to me. Love the four outter pockets on front and a small zipped one for my iphonegreat for my small bits and keys and sunglasses as well. This bag is SO stylish and practical, i just love it to pieces! The hobo shape is really high end looking and all the pockets keep me organized. The blue lining was a bit shocking at first now i think it looks vibrant and a nice contrast to all the black. I got this about 2 weeks ago and it's great plenty of room for your usual items and then some.However, after about 3 days of normal use, the stitching on the personal items zipper in front has started fraying this means that the zipper has come off from the fabric lining and backing, exposing the batting , lining and guts. I have to stuff the zipper in and find someone to stitch it up for me.
Inside, the pockets are poorly sewn, so that even before use, the pockets were starting to come apart from the lining and the two pockets merging into one.
It's such a stylish bag i really want a replacement, but will have to see if the local agent will give me an exchange or repair.
I'll be writing to skip hop to see what they can do about it, enclosing pictures.

This is a wonderful and stylish mid-sized diaper bag!I admit I was disappointed when I first received it. But I had already ripped out a tag and was afraid Amazon wouldn't accept the return, so I kept it ... and I'm really glad I did! I've used it every day since then and have come to love it! Here are my comments on common features:
Size: When I first saw it, I was mainly disappointed at how small it was. But after 9+ months of use, I now think the size is perfect: It's large enough for a half day out with the baby, but small and light enough that I sometimes carry it as a purse when I'm on my own.
Pockets: I was also initially disappointed at how it only had two sets of outside pockets, but honestly, I've never needed more. (In fact, some of them go unused.) One thing to note is that the cell phone pocket is sized for an iPhone; my Android doesn't fit, so I keep it in one of the gathered pockets.
Quality: I've had this bag for about 9 months and I've used it almost every day. As far as I can tell, the bag still looks pretty much like new.
Style: Of course, this depends on your individual preference, but I can say that this bag looks as nice in person as it does in the pictures. It's stylish enough that I've never thought twice about taking it into nicer venues. I've even had people tell me that if it weren't for the Skip Hop label, they would have never guessed it was a diaper bag.
Design: One thing to mention about this bag, and perhaps my only criticism, is that the top doesn't open very wide, which makes it difficult to reach into the corners. To be honest, though, once I got used to it, it stopped being an issue entirely; I haven't even thought about it for months. And it might actually be a feature: Since the opening is small, things don't fall out much when you're digging around in it. But it's something to be aware of.
So how much does it hold? Here's my standard fare: In the main compartment, I usually have three cloth AIO's, a wet bag, and a camera. In the inside pockets, I put a dozen cloth wipes and a small spray bottle, a half dozen pairs of baby socks, a folded up receiving blanket, and a small toy. In the outside pockets, I keep my wallet, keys, cell phone, extra pair of glasses, comb, a few hand wipes, and a small tin of calendula salve. If I want to bring my 11" laptop, I usually tuck it into the changing pad pocket. I'd say that, with all the above objects, the bag is about 2/3 of the way full. I've crammed it fuller before, but it gets to be rather heavy and things become hard to reach.

I bought this bag about 6 months ago. It's perfect for my needs looks like a purse so I can bring it to work but it also has all of the pockets for my stuff and my daughter's. But it's falling apart! For $70, I would have thought it would last longer than 6 months. The outer pouch is coming apart at the seam and the zipper pull for the zippered outside pocket has come completely off. I'm in the process of working with Skip Hop to get a refund. This backpack was OK for the price. I ordered 4 different backpacks from amazon. I received this backpack and a Jansport for around the same price. I think this backpack was made at least as well as the Jansport, I was however disappointed to find a tag on this backpack (not on any of the other backpacks) that stated that some of the products used to make this bag may cause cancer. Nice! I'm not certain if other backpacks are made with the same materials and they just don't state that they're made from cancerous materials, or if it was just the materials used in this particular backpack. I have looked at several other backpacks since reading the warning and have not seen the warning on a single backpack anywhere. For substance: Bought for toting my laptop on the planes that make you bag check at the gate. I keep my laptop in this case to haul around the airport, and pop it out just before giving my bag so that my laptop is protected in flight without carting a big laptop case. Adequate protection.
Actually don't like the 'hidden' handles. It's a little awkward because the zipper has to remain open on both sides of the handles in order to be able to have them out.
Eagle Creek Travel Gear Dane Backpack
In looking for a replacement for my last Eagle Creek computer/paper bag, I looked at the upscale options (Tumi and friends). While there were both highly functional and elegant products available, they did not meet one strict requirement: that it be possible to carry the bag as a backpack, comfortably. The Eagle Creek has padded curved straps which allow it to be comfortably carried for hours on hikes, and then tucked in the back and the bag becomes appropriate for the most serious meetings I attend. While I only have a few months of experience with this sack, I have decades of experience with other Eagle Creek products; hope and expect this one to hold up as well. No need to repeat the standard features; I'll note that the combination of large and small pockets, some zipped and some open, provides a flexible system to allow a customization of 'assignments' for tech gear, human interfaces (glasses, earplugs, aspirin, etc.), passports, pens, cards...It works, it is elegant, and it is well made.
Tumi Luggage Ducati Super Mono Compact Brief Pack
The straps do not allow for extension so the bag is always pressed to your back. After walking around in the summer for a few minutes, my back is a sweaty mess. It's good for motorcycle riding, but not a good daily pack.Also, it doesn't fit my 14inch laptop with the extended battery attached.
Overall it's ok, but for Tumi, I would have expected a little more flexibility with the straps.
I bought a TUMI backpack after a recommendation from a friend that mentioned there is life time warranty on it (to justify the 200$ price tag).
I decided its a good deal since I was confident I will be able to keep this bag our of harms way as far as external damages.
4+ years gone by the bag started to show some chewing done by the teeth of time from normal use and I decided to go to your friendly neighborhood TUMI store, pay a fee of 15$ for the shipping to TUMI "labs" in order to get the bag fixed or replaced. got a letter a week later asking me to contact them in 30 days or they ship the bag back "as is". (no phone call follow up god forbid in spite of the fact they get all your details when you ship it back).
the lady informed me the model I had only covered by warranty for 3 years... and other than that they cant repair the bag damage.
the only option the way they see it is for me to purchase another back at a discount.
now all that was good and nice if it was the redbull bag I bought in Thailand at 2001 for 10$ (that didn't have any damage since then by the way) but its a 200$ investment we talking about here.
the lady kindly corrected me it was 189$..
of course the fact I bought the bag in Manhattan in which you pay sale tax is not something TUMI cares to much about.
I let her know they can throw the bag and that I will make sure not me or anyone else I know will purchase their overpriced bags again, and its not because the product is not good I honestly liked it while I used it but because a company that charge so much premium for a mass manufactured product has no right to exist with this type of service.
so if you are about to buy a TUMI product I implore you to factor this incident in your decision and learn from my experience.

Ok, so I got this today and while opening the box I was thinking about all the junk I could fit in it. About 2 minutes later my 9 year old daughter stole it from me and declared that it would be "perfect" for her Nintendo DS, games, charger, and extra stylus'!!! She put all her stuff in it and I was surprised how great the fit was. She was kind enough to let me borrow it for a minute to see how I liked it. It fits everything I'll need to take on our upcoming vacation (phone and ipod chargers, usb cords, etc.) Perhaps the never ending search for the perfect game carrying case has finally ended. I was surprised to find there was lining not only in the big compartment but each little pocket too.I don't usually spend this kind of money for a book bag, but I'm happy I did because I absolutely love this bag.
It is very big though. I was expecting a smaller bag, but it sags past my butt. I like it that way though (it doesn't help that I'm short).
Smart Buy Business Nylon Backpack
I bought this backpack 4 months ago to replace a briefcase style bag.I have been very pleased with it. The construction is of sturdy black nylon throughout.
I use the two exterior pockets in the back for small headphones and a paint brush I use for dusting.
The first compartment has pen holders stitched in, so I use it to hold a legal pad holder and other office type things.
The next compartment has two dividers in the bottom third of the bag. One of the dividers is mesh with a zip top, so I use this compartment to hold a cd case, antenna. cords, flash drives and spare disks.
This compartment also has a slot to hold an MP3 player and a rubberized hole for a headphone cord.
The final compartment is sized to fit a 17.3 inch laptop. My Dell fits just fine. The bottom of this compartment is thickly padded to absorb shocks to your laptop.
The bag's hardware is all hard plastic like nylon. This initially worried me, but I have had no problems. Each of the three compartments is double zippered.
You can carry it with the handle on the top (I hang mine on a coat rack at work), you can carry it on one shoulder comfortably, or you can wear it as a normal backpack(it has padding against your back.
My only beef with the bag, is that all the compartment subdivisions I mentioned are in the bottom of the bag, so if you are putting in a lot of stuff, the bottom will become over full, while the top still has room to spare. Putting at least some pockets in the top third of the compartments will solve this, and I plan to do this.
Still, I don't see how you could get a better bag for under $35.00. HP did a good job.
This is a solid buy and it won't set you back to much. No con's about it.

CUSCUS Army 3 Day Assault Hiking Camping Military Backpack
This pack is not bad for the price. I tested out the seams and zippers pretty well with the load i put in it on a resent trip to the Boundary Waters for 7 days. I used it for food only. The seams all held great but the zippers are another story. The zipper handle broke on one of the side pockets before we ever left for the trip. It was an easy fix though. I just used a piece of small para cord to make another handle. Later in the trip however, the top zipper broke completely and couldnt be repaired in the field. If it wasn't for the cheap zippers i would give this pack a 5 star rating.

I've been using the pack for day to day use to and from work, as well as wearing it on my daily 3-5 mile walks to break it in a bit. The junk I tote back and forth to work weighs out at around 20 pounds and I've not seen any significant wear or tear as of yet. Stitches have remained firm and secure, all the adjustment straps are still in one piece. It gets tossed around at work a bit going from nearby chairs to the floor, to being kicked under my desk, being used as a footrest, and of course in and out of my car quite a few times. All in all, I still consider it the perfect buy for me.

I travel for work a lot, but it's mostly 2 and 3 day trips, and using rolling suitcases always seems excessive.I've used this bag 3 times in the last month, and it's been awesome. I like having my hands free, so this is perfect.
For the price, I'd say you can't beat it. Last time I traveled, I brought my laptop, 3 days worth of clothes, a change of shoes and all of my toiletries. I probably could've stretched it for another day or two, as well, if I packed lightly.
While I've only used it a few times, it seems to be holding up pretty well.
Also, I'm 5' and about 110 lbs, and the pack can become a bit bigger than me pretty quickly, if I'm not careful. I would consider myself a little more hearty than my size, but if you feel like you might not be able to handle it, I would recommend a smaller pack.

The strap on the Coach leather saddle bag briefcase my husband brought me several year ago was worn. I attempted to work with Coach for a replacement and they had nothing to offer me which was very disappointing considering the cost of the bag and Coach's generally good customer and repair services. However, I decided to look on Amazon for a replacement and this came up. It matches my bag well and clips right on without a problem.
