I did a lot of shopping around before I landed on this case. I'm very happy with it. It fits my MacBook Pro perfectly with just the right amount of padding and a nice sleeve on the outside. Incase is definitely the way to go!

As I said, this is a very strange laptop backpack.
I ordered this sleeve for my 13" MacBook Air. First of all, the case arrived with a black mark across one side. I was willing to overlook it, but the case is way too big for my laptop. There is more than an inch left along the length of the laptop and with so much room to move around, I'm worried my computer will be damaged (the measurements in the product description are way off). Also, the neoprene is pretty thin and doesn't seem to offer much protection. I guess you get what you pay for, but even at $12.50, this sleeve isn't worth it. As a side note, I saw some other reviewers talk about stains along the edges. It seems that this is the design of the case. You can't see it in the photos, but it's imprints of the flower along the top in shades of grey and brown that make the whole case look dingy.
I really love my bag. I don't really wear it as a backpack unless I need my hands free, but it works well as a shoulder bag. My laptop, textbook, and paper pad all fit inside, and there are plenty of pockets to store pens or other small things.

I use this bag to put my gym clothes and shoes in so I can hit the gym on the way home from work. It would fit a towel and shower kit. I like the water bottle holder on the outside I keep my refillable water bottle there so I always have a water bottle at the gym. The separate shoe pocket is great, but it does fill some of the inside of the bag so it does not give you any extra space. It does give you a place to put your shoes so they will not touch your clothes and get them dirty. The handle on one end of the bag makes it easy to slide in and out of the storage box at my gym. Small enough so it fits nicely on the floorboard of my car behind the driver/passenger seat. Two small pockets on one side are great for keys, cell phone, and mp3 player. Happy with my new gym bag.

Updated 2013-02-09: I contacted High Sierra shortly after writing the original review. A new bag arrived after a few weeks. The replacement has held up well since, and the zipper is still attached. The Sport Duffel Met my expectations, you may need something bigger, but if you are well organized, will have no problem, The Duffel should come with a hook on a top handle, which initially saw no use, but gently place a hook for keys is wonderful place.....it is comfortable to transport the three alternatives to handle, highly recommended, good product

The laptop bag is great with all the pockets and places to store my stuff. The handle sometimes takes a few tries to collapse and if I fly on the small planes the only way I can put this bag into the overhead storage is the top first and I have to force it. But this is the only bag I can find that is thin enough to even fit in the overhead of the small planes so I am not complaining. Overall I enjoy the bag.

This is quite roomy without being overwhelming on my six year old. It's also surprisingly lightweight so he can carry quite a few things in there without it getting too heavy. And he loves the Star Wars/Lego design!
I purchased this as a replacement for a 2-year-old model of Embark brand laptop backpack that is no longer made. The first thing I noticed was that this backpack is significantly heavier than the other maybe about 50% heavier so much so that I expect it will be more fatiguing to wear for someone light in weight or small in size. The weight seems to be in the padding material. The padding is thick, which is a good thing for a laptop backpack, but it's also much stiffer than I was expecting. The stiffness is surely a good thing for the laptop, but it makes the backpack less comfortable than I wanted it to be. I have only just received this backpack, so I can't comment on its durability. However, the finish is nice the zippers seem to be of solid material, there are no loose threads or seams. There are 4 zippered compartments. The 1 deep one at the back has an iPod/phone pocket as well as a stiff divider inside with a Velcro strap (to keep the laptop in as opposed to my previous backpack, which kept the laptop in a slim, padded, separately-zippered compartment behind the deep compartment). The 2nd compartment from the front has nice pockets for ID, pens, calculators, etc. The handle at the top is well padded and comfortable. The mesh pockets on the sides are large enough to hold water bottles.

I love this backpack because it's small, yet has enough room to carry a laptop, power, speakers and more.
I used this to hike through a canyon where I had to swim through some parts. It worked well. The backpack style is very convenient and frees your hands for swimming, catching your balance, etc. It even assisted in the swimming because it helped me float some. I would, however, recommend NOT getting a clear one if you have pencils, etc., because the plastic is a bit thinner than an opaque style. But, if you are careful, this bag will work fine.
This backpack is advertised as 14x10.5x 5.4. When I got the pack today it was barely 10 inches tall! If I had known it was going to be so small I wouldnt have purchased it.
This backpack is super cute and my daughter who is a horse lover, just loved it. I wanted a little backpack she could take with her to horseback riding lessons, something to hold a jacket, her boots, carrot treats for the horse. This was perfect and I loved that it is a soft material not the hard plastic. It was much nicer than I expected. It's not quite as big as the regular school backpacks but it's a good size. My daughter is 5 years old. It's perfect for us.

This backpack is made by Wildkin. We ordered the pink horse backpack (although the photo shown is the purple english horse backpack and that is not what we bought). I knew what it would look like because we previously bought Wildkin lunchboxes in this same pattern. It's a very girly print, a hot light pink color with horses on it. We just got this backpack so I can't say how it will hold up, but looking at it, the quality seems good and I'm expecting it to be durable and last through the school year and then some. The only thing that might be an issue is the zipper. Those doesn't look that great, but everything else does, so time will tell. The size of this is perfect for my petite kindergartner. This backpack is a tad bigger than a toddler backpack and can accommodate a letter sized file folder and a few small books. Compared to a toddler backpack from Potterybarn it won't hold as much. It doesn't have drink pockets on the side either, but that is okay with me for our use. The manufacturer says this is for 3 to 8 year olds. It's perfect for Kindergarten, but I'm guessing that next year we'll need something a bit bigger so I would say the size good for 3 to 6 year olds. If you have an older child who has text books, etc, this is not the right backpack to buy and you will be disappointed. Wildkin makes a variety of backpacks in this pattern so you need to make sure you are buying the right size. One reviewer said the fabric wasn't that thick. I don't see that. This backpack is lined with black fabric and seems sufficent. My only reason for 4 stars is the price. It should be a $15 dollar backpack based on the size and style it isn't a "bells and whistles" kind of a backpack. It's pretty average. What you are paying for is the cute design. This backpack was a birthday gift for our 1st grader. It's simply adorable! I was initially concerned about the seemingly small size, but it actually has more than enough room for her papers, pencils, mittens and folder for school. The only reason at all that this didn't get the 5 star rating is that I still feel that it was a bit much in price for a young childs backpack. But for what we paid, it is a good deal. Well constructed and haven't had any problems with the zippers at all (so far..) I would probably buy another product from this company as has very many cute items!!!
Compact and very light-weight. First day I filled it up with several water bottles (15-20 lbs) and took a short walk. At first I had my doubts (I am used to having a waist strap). It felt a little small and pulled back on my shoulders. However, after about 15 minutes I actually forgot it was there. It was very comfortable and carried the weight well. I did not test the waterproofness but I am sure I will have an opportunity in the near future. It is a bit pricy but I feel it is worth it if you want a compact ultra-light pack that can be used on the trail or around town.

I'm an experienced ultralight backpacker and was looking for something inexpensive (compared to high end cuben fiber backpacks) to use as a daypack. This product fits the bill except for one thing: The straps are really not much better than raw cord.

This is a very well made item. For me it does not work. I put in my mini hp computer, Ipad, kindle fire, two bottles of water, note book, wallet, ipod, iphone, two sets of eye glasses and the list goes on. When I have every thing in it that I need it wants to and sometimes will tip over. The front part fall over. The bottom the this item you could call it the plat form where the spinners are is not big enough for me just because I really do put allot of stuff in it. It has allot of compartments. I ordered this bag and my expectations about this item was just what I thought it would be. It is a good size, even just slightly larger then I really wanted, but it works well for me. I use it to pack into a large backpack, to take some gym clothes with me to work. It takes up some of my space so it is tight, but it gets the job done. The bag material is pretty tough and looks like it will last awhile. I have not used the audio port, but there is an extra storage area that is useable for that or something valuable if need be. I would recommend it.

We purchased this for our son starting preschool after he chose it from all the others he saw on the web. It is much brighter in color than the pictures, which was a nice surprise, and it actually fits a four year old. The straps adjust so that the backpack stays on him, and it is a much better size than most of the backpacks for children. The front opens with a few pockets for supplies, but it doesn't have lots of little pockets that pre schoolers and kindergarten kids really don't need. It's made of washable, wipeable material which we are sure we will need come school time. Overall, a great choice.

This backpack is the perfect size for a kindergartener or first grade student. I had thought it was going to be somewhat small but it was a much better fit than the full sized backpack that this replaced. The backpack is sturdily constructed and the straps are nice and wide ensuring a more comfortable fit.
This bag looks great. The vertical thing is really unique, the bright orange is awesome, and the seat belt-esque strap rocks. The downside: You can barely fit your charger in there. There is no pad on the strap so it's not very comfortable. Where the strap is connected to the bag is metal on metal so it makes a terrible squeaking noise as you walk. And after a year of VERY light use (MAYBE once a week) the wire that gives the flap it's shape (around the edges, like underwire on a bra) is starting to poke out.
